Tanking games and not putting 100% effort on all fronts to win a game destroys the competitive integrity of the league. If the fans cant trust the results of each game, there's no point in even playing the games or watching them.3 points

People talk about the Colts tanking for Luck, but do you think Jim Caldwell and Curtis Painter intentionally lost those games so the Colts could FIRE them and replace Painter with Luck? Lol really, it's a stupid thought....what would the guys tanking have to gain since they'll be replaced if they don't win? Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk2 points

Right tackles make less money than guards in the NFL. The only premium position on the OL in the NFL is left tackle. If Scherff doesn't project as a LT in the NFL, then he's 100% not worth a top ten pick in the NFL draft. Such a pick would make me sick.2 points

Well I eliminated anyone I talked about openly -- namely you, JiF and Leelou. I never investigate that person, especially in a big game. Too much chance for manipulation. The thing with Crusher was one just his play seemed a bit off...theres one post in particular that stuck out...two, the way he came in after my reveal and was basically the only person saying he didnt get it at all...and three I didn't recall anyone with strong feelings about his alignment. I saw at least a couple of "A, B, C scum... X Y Z town..:Crusher fat" And at the end of the day that plus instinct, I went with him.2 points

Holy crap what an intense series that was. Props to the Pens for recognizing the Rangers' weaknesses and exploiting them. Lundqvist was stellar, and Hayes made some great plays as well. He's going to be really good. Not going to get any easier from here, though. Blah.2 points

Fowler was also good against the run as was Dupree in limited opportunities and they all project well on the next level. Gregory is definitely in the same class as pass rusher, I have no idea what film you are looking at. His swim move is probably the best in this draft class. I am sure he also played LB and definitely can play in space. Drafting at 6 you need a player who can stay on the field for 3 downs. To me that is either Fowler or Gregory. Dupree also once he is coached up a bit. I would take Beasley over Ray if had to make a choice. Ray hasn't shown me he as the ability to play LB; he is really a DE in a LB body.2 points

Hey Sonny.... I've been posting on the board for about a year and the one thing I realized, just like on the playground, you mind your manners until you're part of the crew. The guys on this board are very friendly and once they get used to you, they bring you into their group. THEN you can talk a little smack!! Despite Villain's obsession with Glennon, he is a valued member of the board and bleeds green thru-and-thru. Just my .02 to another new member to the board! Welcome and by all means share your opinions.... politely. Look forward to getting to know you..... Boozer2 points

Wrong. It fixes nothing and makes no one feel better. It's just a sad reality that such a good team insists on breaking, bending and otherwise defecating on the rules thereby diminishing the integrity of the game we love. It's just shameful.1 point

I would be very pleased with this draft except I would rather have shored up the o-line before taking the safety. The OL needs more attention earlier IMO. But overall, this is rock solid.1 point

Would love to get the Browns 2 firsts if Mariota fell to us at 6 & Browns wanted him. With Gregory failing pot test he could fall to where the Jets could draft a combo of Gregory & Parker or Gregory & Gurley! That would be a 1st round haul! Can't wait for Mac & Bowles 1st draft. Pumped that Bradway is gone. DRob & Nugent were fireable offenses a long time ago.1 point

By your own definition you admit that the Patriots were guilty of Spygate.1 point

great hockey. I only watch playoff hockey, so I am no expert. I noticed all the rangers rushes in OT were very short lived, dump ins and the pens would go to the rangers end for a sustained 12-15 second possession with mutiple shots, it looked to me like the pens would win for sure the final possession they seemed to finally keep it in the pens end and then wham-o ! I didn't even see it go in rangers may have the best looking home jersies in sports1 point

why is polian on TV now, instead of running an NFL team ? oh yeah, he had no back up QB in place. 2011: Manning injury[edit] Main article: 2011 Indianapolis Colts season Indianapolis went into the 2011 season with many questions not only about Peyton Manning's health but also his contract status. Manning signed an extension before the beginning of the season, but his availability for the season was in question due to surgery. The league was faced with a lockout from March to July that prevented Manning from using team training facilities to help recover, and as the preseason began he was left on the Physically Unable to Perform list. Originally ruled out for the season opener in Houston, Manning was eventually sidelined for the entire season due to multiple surgeries on his neck.[65] Veteran quarterbackKerry Collins was signed to the team early in the year due to the dissatisfaction with backup quarterbacks Curtis Painter and Dan Orlovsky.[66] For the first time since 1997, the Colts were not commanded by Peyton Manning and instead were led by Collins in a 34–7 loss against the Texans. The season continued to spiral without Manning and the team was quickly 0–3 and was forced to start Curtis Painter following an injury to Kerry Collins. The Colts continued to look abysmal under Painter with the team going 0–11, including a 62–7 loss to the Saints, before Dan Orlovsky was put in to replace Painter at New England. Orlovsky led an effort to beat the Patriots, but the Colts fell to them 31–24, to go 0–12 on the season. Indianapolis would win only two games of the season, at home against the Titans and the Texans, and would finish off the season with a 2–14 record, the second–worst record in the Indianapolis era. The record ensured the Colts the number one overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft and began to stir up controversy over Peyton Manning's continued presence within the organization. The Peyton Manning era came to a sudden end on March 8, 2012 when Jim Irsay announced that Manning was officially being released from the roster after thirteen seasons.[67] Although Manning's medical condition and throwing strength continued to improve, Irsay stated that the Colts were embarking on "an ambitious rebuilding project" and that due to Manning's age, 36, it was unlikely that he could win another Super Bowl before the rebuilding project was finished. In addition, the Colts would have owed him an additional $20 million if he'd stayed on the roster another week. the colts were 0-12 and finished 2-14 do the math !!!!!! suck for luck, lolololol1 point

The only pick I really don't like is Sammie Coates. I think he is a reach in the 2nd. 4th might be a little early for Ramik Wilson, real good ILB in the running game, but he was a liability in coverage at Georgia. I like your two 7th rounders. Waynes is probably the best CB in the draft and Sambrailo is solid value in the 3rd. Good upside, potential starting LT someday.1 point

Totally agree. Scherff would be a bad pick at #6. If we trade down and accumulate another pick or two and then pick him, that would be a different story.1 point

That's the thing. I am not saying that Hardy is pious, simple human being with no idiocy in his behavior. But he is was not convicted of being an idiot. That beyond reasonable doubt benchmark is not met with the evidence presented by the prosecution. It's another thing that guys have been punished of sexual assault without any linking physical evidence just based on the 'she said so she must be right' standard. SO if you say men have being convicted with a lot less evidence does not make it right.1 point

WOO HOO! NYR with 3-1 lead. Coupla ugly goals, but we'll take it. the pens are playing an ugly, choppy game to try to nullify the Rangers' speed.1 point

After following this story it looks like one of false accusations gone wild. I am not a lawyer and i don't play one on TeeVee but he was essentially never convicted in the eye of the law. The accusations were made by a socialite/gold digger and Greg Hardy was found guilty of being a guy with money. But now he stands with his reputation tainted, losing his means of earning his living and taking HUGE financial hits. This is classic overreaction from Goodell. Hardy needs to take NFL to court.1 point

You guys think the commissioner is going to punish the Patriots for blatantly cheating? Awww that's so cute!1 point

Forgetting Mariota, QB is EVERYTHING in this league. If they have ANY chance at developing into a top 10 guy even 5 years down the road, they are worth taking. And Mariota is a much higher talent. This isn't a case of him being talked into a higher spot. Everyone has known for a long time now that Mariota was a top 10 draft pick.1 point
