The op talks as if we re going to have to go out of our way to suck.12 points

I keep reading this sh*t, but when was the last time these teams won anything? When was the last time the Pats picked #1 overall? Bledsoe? The Packers and Steelers? Did they ever? The Falcons? Vick? The Chiefs picked #1 overall and got Eric Fischer. Big ******* whoop. This argument made more sense last year when Cam was there, but how did that work out for 2016? The last #1 overall to win with the team that drafted him was Manning in '98. Even Eli was traded on draft day. Stop being such a bunch of bitches and begging to tank.11 points

Marshall to this day is still the only legit #1 wr on this team and we want to run him out of town. Is everyone really ok going into next year with Decker healthy for 4 games, Enunwa as the #1 and Anderson as the #2. It will be like revisiting 2013, 2014 and 2015 all over again.8 points

I'd keep him. JMO. Marshall, Decker, Enunwa, Anderson.... That's a pretty good receiving core for a new and or young QB to work with. Him and Decker will make things much easier for our next QB to get going in the right direction right out of the gate.6 points

Hope everyone cheering this remembers their position when we suck fat ballsack at WR in 2017. Decker can't carry as a #1 (and is fragile frankly, there I said it). Enunwa, ok. After that, unproven kids who get far too much hype gere for what they actually did thus far. First time one of you posts about "needs weaponz" I swear, seriously, just don't.6 points

Scenario: You're you, you pick up the phone around 11:30 pm on a Friday night and it's Margot Robbie, and she's offering you a beej. Your pants instantly become smaller. Only issue, it's future Margot Robbie, and she's 74. What do you do?6 points

We should respect Marshall for giving it his all for a clown shoes organization, but his being a pain in the ass was as highly predictable as Fitzpatrick's reversion to trash. Id also imagine that 9/10ths of the reason for cutting him is because they don't want to subject milky snowflake Hackenberg to an angry Marshall next year.5 points
-
I really don't get the Marshall hatred. He is the only veteran who actually showed up last season. Yeah he disrupted the locker room because 60% of the roster quit by week 3 when it became obvious Bowles was clueless and Fitz was a clown5 points
-
I loved him here his first year, but with how abysmal we've become it's probably for the best. Let the young guys step up. I wouldn't mind him for around the vet minimum, but I highly doubt he'd take that. We probably ain't going anywhere next season, and he doesn't do much for the development of our young guys.5 points
-
He quit on Petty. It was clear as day. Half ass effort on balls he'd go all out for Fitz. It was very easy to see. All good bro. We disagree. He's your boo sauce and you want to defend him till the cows come home. I'm over it frankly. Let the cards fall as they may. I'll be a Jets fan either way. I still <3 yer guts out.4 points

Just wait. Why do you think we're always rubbing our hands together? When the time comes my people will rise and then when the dinner is served...we'll see who's lying on the plate.4 points

Cimini's twitter is suggesting this is his prediction, not an actual fact.4 points

You know what I find humorous . The 2 guys who use the name of the player considered the greatest Jet of all time are the biggest Jet haters on the internet . Both persons hate everything Jet from the owner to the grounds keeper .4 points

Okay so this Cimini nugget comes from this article: http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/page/32for32x171118/predicting-biggest-offseason-change-all-32-teams In said article each ESPN team coverage guy predicts the biggest change coming for their respective team. It's a prediction, not inside information. Like the Cowboys realeasing Romo or the Bills releasing Taylor. Carry on. Nothing to see here.4 points

There is a reason we got him for a 5th round pick. Now he's a couple of years older and seemingly more interested in his TV gig. He can still play but he is mentally unstable and a locker room headache when things go south. Not worth the 7 million. I'd rather use that money towards a left tackle. Wr happens to be one of the positions we are stacked with talent. Decker returning, enunwa emerging, Anderson developing and guys like jalin, Peake and Devin with talent.4 points

This is pure speculation at the moment...to have too strong of an opinion on this report is foolish. It's Cimini for god sakes.4 points

Wow. Mac taking no prisoners. Maybe Marshal WAS a problem in the locker room?4 points
-
I don't believe in firing coaches after 2 seasons with a 15-16 record. He deserves a 3rd year with Mac to build something, I like to think long term not short term like some fat jet fan sitting in 341 with ketchup on his shirt.4 points
-
Probably trying to increase trade value for Romo. If teams know Dallas is committed to Dak they may be willing to give up less for Romo. Dak will be starting for the cowboys next year.4 points

Was Eli drafted #1 overall?? Period Stop... Winston, Luck, Newton, Bradford, Stafford, Russell, Smith, Palmer, Carr, Vick, Couch, Manning, Bledsoe, George, Aikman, Testaverde, Elway, Bartkowski, Plunkett, Bradshaw,.... Since 1970 - 21 QBs drafted #1 overall... 5 are complete disasters... the rest... played in the NFL a LONG time... I will take those odds anyday...3 points

Tony Pauline is doing daily updates on each player. He has an East practice page and a West practice page http://draftanalyst.com/ FAU’s Trey Hendrickson has been having a nice couple days. As has Eric Saubert.3 points

Oh yeah -- and he's 35, coming off arguably his worst season thus far, is a choke artist, and has never been on the winning side against the Patriots with Brady (0-6 career). No. He's an obvious upgrade for us, but it'll be both short-lived and not enough. If he was ever going to win anything it would have been years ago in his prime when he had LT, Turner, Sproles, their great defense with a pair of demon OPRs in Phillips & a juiced-up Merriman, a great OL, un-coverable targets like young Gates & VJax... He's going to bring a SB victory here now, past his prime, on a bad+barren Jets roster that has none of the above, and one that would also have to do without its next couple of 1st round picks at least? Yeah, right. No thanks.3 points

I think it's mostly about the red shirt year. They don't believe in the concept so they just assume the player will be awful.3 points

The mouth is the problem both on and off the field. He needs to go.3 points

His drop during the final drive of the cincy game was basically the beginning of the end of the season3 points

I think rivers is underrated but age is the big factor, by the time the jets get good in enough other positions he will be the type to hang them up. I don't see him playing for along long time.3 points
