  1. They are 1 and 5, Barkley looks like a monster and here are Eli's stats: Here is how his #'s project over a full season: Nice yardage total. 16 TDs and 11 INTs though? Not a guy you want to build around at 37. A lot of his yards are in garbage time which is why his yards are so much higher than the TDs thrown. They are going to regret passing on Sam Darnold in a big way.

  2. I'm putting my Giants hat on and rooting hard for them and Eli to turn this around a little the rest of this year. 7-9, 8-8 would be absolutely perfect. The dummy fanboys start talking about Eli positively again, they put a lot of run on Saquan, they knock themselves out of a top pick, and we get at least another year of Eli next season.

  3. once again we are faced with a team that is coached poorly on all levels.Players not being accountable for their actions. Players acting like punks and being supported instead of being held accountable for their actions. A coach that has lost control over his team. Players that come and go as they please. A total dysfunctional mess on so many levels. The press circling like sharks eagerly feeding into the frenzy the NY GIANTS sure are a mess lol

  5. I have a hard time laughing at other teams when my team is 2-3, and coming off consecutive 5 win seasons. At this point, I like our future better than theirs, but lets string together a few wins and then I will join in the laughter.

  6. As i said before. Jets coming off a big win. Jets at home. Other team not that good. Other team injured. This totally has Jets loss written all over it.

  7. So Gettleman passed on a QB, cut Webb, went all in on Eli, and paid OBJ, Imagine if he was OUR new GM?

  8. uhmm....Jets are 2-3 and staring down the barrel of an 8th straight non-playoff season. We're not there yet.

  18. I still can't believe they took a RB - no matter how talented - over a QB. Especially coming off a 3-win season in which their QBC-turned-OC-turned-HC felt he could rationalize ending Eli's 200+ start streak for Geno Smith. Then the next year you pass up on a QB to draft a RB, only to cut the 3rd round QB they just drafted the prior season, leaving Eli and a rookie who can't throw non-lollipops >15 yards? They had a perfect out for a non-playoff showing after a slow start (if that would have even happened). They picked up a couple of OLmen (for better or worse), drafted another, and had serious receiving weapons. Their worst offseason crime on offense was betting too much on Flowers suddenly becoming something he wasn't since they drafted him. If they drafted a Darnold and even still started out 1-5 behind a decent offense and a crappy defense, then the fans shrug their shoulders at the record while salivating at an insta-replacement for Eli, whom they'll have for a long, long time. What's more, having a cheap starting QB like that for 4 seasons more than offsets the amount they just overpaid Solder, with plenty of change leftover. Had they gone with Darnold they could have even justified forking over a future 2nd rounder to Pittsburgh for Bell for their QB's first 2 or more seasons if they really wanted to. I'm starting to think there aren't more than 5 smart GMs in the NFL, if there are even that many.

  22. Geno seems to think burning bridges is a good idea. He potentially could have a low stress career as backup yet somehow still can’t manage to get out of his own way.

  23. Geno Smith was born in Lakemont, Georgia, He was deemed a "gifted" student and artist since middle school, he turned down numerous fine arts magnet schools to attend a magnet schools with sports programs both in middle school and high school. He was #2 in the running for Mr. Florida Football and received offers from about a dozen power 5 schools. He got a full ride to WVU, broke numerous records, stayed till his senior year and graduated with a degree in English and was drafted into the NFL in the 2nd round and started the entire season as a rookie and is still employed by the NFL. But damn those hoods rats and their opinions. They need to stay in the hood! amirite or amirite?!?!?!?!

  24. unless they somehow find a good qb quickly, they would have been better off drafting darnold, sitting him for half the season until the fans/media understood that eli was done and it was time to move on, then played darnold the 2nd half of this year. they still could have drafted a rb in another round or signed someone like mckinnon or crowell. as amazing as barkley is, how powerless was he to affect the outcome of the game compared to wentz last night?

  25. I posted this in the main forum, but I think it is really good news. Thanks everyone for posting here. I really hope that nothing will change in that regard. If there are any issues just let me know. Just wanted to share an update and some good news. We were able to work out our ad network issue and get reinstated. We have ads showing again, this is a major network so the ads should be higher quality. I am hoping the mobile redirect issue is behind us but if anyone sees any issues just let us know. Update on the site rules: Nudity and sexually suggestive images are not allowed. No exceptions to this one, this is why we got banned. On the no cursing thing, we are going to try and use the word censors to clean things up as much as possible. We ask that you be respectful and that you don't push the limits. Thanks everyone.

  27. I think Eli is incredibly overrated, and always has been. He has not changed, the team around him has. He has never been a mobile guy, just a relatively strong arm and pretty accurate guy. If you look at his few years between Plaxico and Cruz/OBJ, he was very pedestrian. He is a guy who if you give him a strong team around him, he can perform at a high level. BUT, he was never the type of QB to carry a team, he just was never that talented. They put a line in front of him, with the weapons they have on offense he would be fine. He is what he is. He can drive the really nice car well, he just can't take the beater car and raise its performance

  28. I’d like them to beat the Colts and then be 3-3 to face the Vikings. I’m going to be at that game, so it’s a selfish thing really. To be on topic like to see a win against a couple teams with winning records this year. So if they would like to beat the Vikings I would be cool with if. Yeah, I’m selfish.

  32. Yea, not going for Darnold or Rosen was a huge mistake. Mistakes like that are firable offenses for a general manager. They seem to have massively overestimated their talent on D and on the Oline, bc even with Drew Brees at qb I see a .500 team at best. The entire interior of their Oline is a turnstyle. It doesn’t really make sense, did they really expect to beat the Rams, Saints and Philly with the addition of Barkley?

  33. Thanks, I appreciate that. The cursing thing is definitely less and less of an issue. I should be making an announcement in the main forum very soon that will put this thing to rest. Then the entire site can move on without nudie pictures though. We will all have to text Crusher to get some of that going-forward.

  36. Let us be thankful for the Giants. They made the stupidest draft decision that I have ever seen given the state of their team and we benefited from it. Plus, it will haunt them for years and the vicious NY media will never shut up about it. This makes me very happy.

  38. I always thought/hoped that Kearse would become our veteran presence on offense but I didn’t really have much to base it on. Stuff like this shows that he may fit the role and be a good resigning after this year since his price will surely come down and he’s a valuable locker room presence.

  39. Of course. Yeah, I didn’t mean to come off like I was taking anything away from 2017 but I just don’t like 19’s QB class at all and I expect them to fall under 2016, 2017 and 2018 tbh
