  1. I don't see a story here.....but honestly, as a Dad, I wouldn't want my kid going to the Jets either.

  3. First, let me say that I really like Michael Nania and all the work the guys do at Jets X-Factor. With that said, this play right here is why I trust my own eyes rather than the stat sheets and what the pundits have to say... At first glance, this looks like an extremely risky play, one that was thrown to the wheel (Ty Johnson) that just happened to be "robbed" by Jamison Crowder. In reality, there was a lot more going on in this pllay that the average fan doesn't recognize. Let's break it down... Jets have 11-man personnel on this play. On the left (can't see) you have the Z-

  11. Here's the thing, the entire NCAA plays this way. You think Lawrence is doing something different? Have you watched any Zach Wilson? Dude throws the balls with 20 feet of space between him and his OL....and he still drifts away. The only program where you see someone running a prostyle offense, is Texas A&M, are you interested in Kellen Mond? You need to look at some of the film break down on him, this first read stuff you say over and over again is totally bogus. He's asked to go through progressions probably more then anyone in the NCAA because they'll run 4 verts 20 times a

  12. The thing about this argument that bugs me the most is it's as if Lawrence and Wilson aren't throwing to dudes in wide open space all game. It's a negative for Field, ignored for others.

  13. I cant believe how you continue to repeat the same thing over and over again about 1 game and ignore all all the other evidence that shows you're wrong about Fields but I guess it's fun to get a thought in your head and refuse to see anything else.

  17. They get all dreamy-eyed after the twink throws balls to guys five yards open at the Boca Raton Bowl vs UCF, but somehow knock Fields throwing guys open vs the second ranked team in the country.

  19. So picking 2nd in the draft isn't good enough either and so it's time to start picking apart Justin Fields like 98% of the draftnicks here picked apart Josh Allen. I'll clearly admit, I haven't started watching College football until I moved to SC 2 years ago come April 1st. But here's something that is clear as day, this place was so anti Josh Allen that during the 2018 NFL draft, based on everything I read from the supposedly smartest Jet fans on this site, I thought for sure that Mike Maccagnan, being the idiot that he is would bypass the Stud QB Sam Darnold & take Josh Allen, THE

  21. Who are the supposedly smartest Jet fans on the site? I want to friend them on Facebook and Instagram.

  22. That's the thing. He doesn't really have lots of experience going through progressions. Clemson's offense is just as simplified, if not more, than Ohio States. Half field reads, majority of throws are close to the line of scrimmage.

  24. He may need to separate himself from Reid if he wants to get HC job. If he goes to another team as OC and lights it up, teams will be giving him blank checks to be HC. I wouldn’t hire him b/c he has an all star team and Andy Reid with him now.

  26. 100% it's so bizarre, these guys have bad games and it's brushed off or altogether just ignored. Fields has 1 bad game with valid reasoning of why, it's his one outlier but its career defining? It's been a while since we've broke down QB's but I dont remember it being this ridiculous and this jaded. The thing that really blows my mind is, TL looked like trash again vs. OSU and in the process, showed zero leadership. He was a whiny, mopey, little bitch, who looked defeated the second OSU made a stop...same thing vs. LSU last year. Just mentally gone. Meanwhile, Fields put on a histo

  28. The Patriots have arguably been the worst drafting team over the past decade. This is puzzling.

  29. 100% I've written about this to the point that people are probably sick of hearing it. But I'll do it again. He fumbled the WR position group last offseason badly during a year in which you're trying to build the offense and evaluate the QB. It wasn't just that he nickel-and-dimed Robby Anderson and let him walk, but that he counted on Tampa's WR3 (Perriman) to be a WR1 and a late 2nd round rookie (Mims) to be the WR2. Neither of those guys have ever been real starters, Perriman has been through several teams and Mims had never played in the NFL. It took just a couple of injuries

  30. So, I've been thinking a lot about this. I am on record as being totally against bringing Sam back. I think he's done here. BUT, let's say that there was a head coach that really excited me (e.g. Harbaugh) and he was really high on Sam and convinced Douglas that he could get Sam's career going the way Adam Gase was supposed to. Would I be ok with this? Would I be on board? NOPE. GTFO. Fire everyone.

  31. Not against him but I want Matt Campbell or Brian Daboll.......

  32. We need him to play like Tom Brady in his 10th year & make no mistakes and go through multiple reads & step in the pocket & run when he can, and throw the ball away & be go 32-32 with 8 TDs, and rush for 100 yards & not punt and MAYBE then after reviewing his entire career at OSU we might, maybe, consider drafting him, but unless he's PERFECT we should trade back down to #12 and take a TE & could you imagine how many late picks we could get too? We might be able to bring 17-18 rookies in & really turn this thing around with the youngest team in the league & we'l

  33. Fitzgerald's philosophy is Herm, Todd and Rex all rolled into one. Run the ball , control the clock , win on Defense. Sorry he's definitely a no for me. At least Lewis has had some decent offenses in Cincy.

  34. I agree but that part isn’t nessary but anyhow once we found out JD and his scouts are mostly done scouting, the non commitment to Sam even before the new coach is selected. JD making it a point to say “I have to do what’s best for the future”, All this tells me is that: 1. JD and his scouts are done with their evaluation of Darnold and knows what he is. 2. JD won’t be really leaning towards any coach candidate that thinks he can “fix darnold” 3. we will have a new Rookie QB next season This is just my opinion though

  42. Very bottom of the heap. He has done nothing to demonstrate head coach ability does not show leadership when interviewed and has serious character concerns. Might as well hire Reid's pool boy it's about the same level of actual coaching done on the offense.

  43. Kind of what I'm saying above. There is so little footage of any of these guys facing big-time defenses (let alone above average to elite NFL defenses) that there's always going to be a lot of guessing what would happen in other situations. I don't know much of anything about these guys' specific games -- watching an isolated 5 minutes of highlight clips from 1 game while they're still just big children doesn't tell me what any of these guys are going to be at their very best from their mid-20s into their mid-30s. I've seen Darnold, though. Still has a high ceiling (or higher than
