Yes. If I’ve learned anything, it’s that 2 quarters of a game will define a coach’s ability.16 points

Dustin Keller, Anthony Becht, Kyle Brady, and Johnnie Mitchell say hello. As do TJ Hockenson, Noah Fant, Hayden Hurst, OJ Howard, Eric Ebron, Tyler Eifert.... Kittle was a 5th round pick. Kelce was a 3rd round pick. Waller was a free agent. Drafting a TE in the first round is fool's gold and has been for a very very long time.15 points

I can’t help but like the Bills though of course I’d like them more if they weren’t in our division. Their loyal fans deserve some happiness after many bad years. However being in my 40s now it is painful for me to remember the 1990s domination by the Jim Kelly Buffalo Bills as well as how good the Dolphins were with Marino, and then of course the past 20 years of patriot domination. We’ve been skipped in line, when the hell is our turn- our owners have failed us time and time again. Maybe things are changing now but who the hell really knows. anyway congrats the the Bill14 points

You have to have balls when balls are needed in this league, andy reid has balls.13 points

Yeah, that isn't going to be a problem this time around. I remember being pissed when Parcells got rid of Hugh Douglas. Not an issue this time. There are no good players. Problem solved. Seriously I think the new regime will find a way to maximize Q, Becton, etc. Hopefully even Herndon. But damn there will be no good players being cut because they don't fit. That is a bigger reflection of the roster than anything else.12 points

Wow. Andy Reid just dragging his fat balls across the Browns' collective faces.12 points

After 20 years of massive, failed, over investment in Defense.......let’s make sure we don’t forget to skip Offense and draft more DEFENSE! That the idea eh? Some folks never learn.11 points

Counterpoint: Martindale doing a much better job against Buffalo's offense than Saleh did. ...11 points

Was listening to Movin the Chains yesterday afternoon, and Pat Kirwin made a point about what some teams with new GM's coming in have to deal with regarding their salary caps, and having a disproportionate amount of money tied up to 3-4 guys. He said rule of thumb is when that gets over 35%, you worry, and over 40% you have major problems. Atlanta, between Matt Ryan, Julio and Grady Jarrett, are over 40% and if you throw in their OT Matthews, it's like 45%. Detroit, between Stafford, Trey Flowers and one other guy whose name escapes me, is like 38%. Couple this with the idea that a new coach10 points

Was watching SNY last night and JCoakely interviewed Bart and SalPal to reminisce. Can it really be that long ago, ten long years? It was so much fun being a Jets fan back then. Cocky loud mouth HC making promises, the team backing them up. A real gritty, hard hitting team built around its defense and its coaches style. It really felt like we were on our way, would only get better, Sanchez had to improve and the Jets with him, right? We were playing the big, bad Patriots team a little over a month after they had humiliated the team 45-3 earlier in the season. Worse that beatdown w9 points

Wondering if Connor is watching any of these playoff games where playoff teams are lining up with absolute third-string JAGs at fifteen different positions, but are being carried by good QBs. Aaron Rodgers’ OL is a bunch of longshoremen at this point. Hughes and @Paradis play too much Madden.9 points

I took the family to that game, we had a great time. After the game we went to the steakhouse in Patriots village attached to the stadium there, every Pats fan in the place congratulated me (we were decked out in Jets stuff) it caught me completely off guard, pretty cool.9 points

And the majority of the fanbase actually wanted to pay this dickhead, 210 lb edgerusher $20 million a year... Because he’s a DAWG!! God I love me some John Schneider. And don’t even get me started on that Joe Douglas fella.9 points

I completely agree with DJ here. You can get Watson and still have basically a normal draft haul over the next 3 years.8 points

If you have a chance to get Deshawn Watson then you do just about anything to do so. There is nothing Jetsy about getting an in his prime FQB. It’s the complete opposite. Deshawn Watson signed 25 year old FQB >>>>Sam Darnold/Justin Fields/Zach wilson and a bunch of draft picks His cap hits would be less then what over the cap says due to Houston having to pat some of the signing bonus money.7 points

Could you all imagine a FQB like Watson forcing his way onto the Jets!!!! Hahahahah....7 points

The Chiefs offense has two first round picks on it (Mahomes and Eric Fisher) but yeah sure we can’t trade for Deshaun Watson because we need twenty first rounders.7 points

My buddy who is a Clemson guy has a former coworker in Watson's crew #coolstory- he likes New York and everything that comes with it.7 points

Parcells got rid of Douglas because he was a locker room lawyer. Mangini did the same to Kendall for the same reason. Gase has already fumigated Florham Park of subversive locker room cancers. Saleh inherits a cohesive roster.7 points
