  1. What kind of embarrassment and humiliation are in store for our heroes today? Woody is keeping the uniforms secret, so I am literally on the edge of my seat in anticipation of what they look like. I will be at the game today for the first time in 5 years and have a chance, a slight one, to rub shoulders with legendary Jets fan and iconic and proud PSL owner (shared with a Giants fan) @SAR I Really looking forward to the tailgate lol let’s uh go Jets?

  2. Scheduled my booster shot today for 1pm. Getting it at a Walmart on the seedy edge of a rural Connecticut mill town and requested a rusty needle. Hoping that, between the possible tetanus and Soros microchip, I emerge from my coma in two years with a good coach and professional football team having replaced what we have now. And also that I’ve mastered aikido like Steven Segal in the 1990 Steven Segal classic Hard to Kill.

  4. 10:28 tee time, waves could get if the wind stays light - going to be a fun day regardless. Enjoy Joe Flacco, boys and girls! Sounds like a great use of 4 hours!

  6. Calm down Becton lovers. This doesn’t mean Becton is bad. But ignoring the fact that Fant has been fantastic would be disingenuous. It might just be me but I prioritize an elite pass protector at LT who is an average run blocker over a decent pass protector who is a road grader in the rush game.

  7. My one positive is that Zach Wilson is back next week & we finally get to see what’s been brewing in the 5 week old pot.

  10. Spending my Sunday watching Joe Flacco run a hurry up offence as the Jets fall to 2-8 is pretty much a good reflection of where my life is at right now.

  11. Oh, it bothers him. Too many of our fans conflate tantrums and visible outrage with passion. Losing your cool is unprofessional - not a sign of acceptance of failure. Our fanbase full of emotionally immature blockheads constantly look for the wrong traits in leadership.

  12. Don’t care or give a **** trade Zach Wilson and Q Williams for Deshaun Watson. Win games for the next decade. This teams lack of play makers is killing me and especially at that QB position. Free agency will be easier because of Watson and it will open up the draft with all the pics that we have acquired

  13. We lost, but let's start with the positives: -Elijah Moore is really good. 8 for 141 is amazing. He's a stud and will help our chances in any game. He was responsible for almost 40% of the total offensive yards. -Joe Flacco is boring, but he did throw for 2 touchdowns (Although Moore is pretty much responsible for one of them). -We scored more points than the Ravens did against the Dolphins -The defense recorded another INT and held the dolphins to less points than they had in previous weeks Now for the negatives: -Robert Saleh isn't good with clock management. He needs to get better. Now that I think of it, he isn't great at much at all currently -Michael Carter got hurt at one point, and up to that point he was one of the best players on the team. -We lost -The defense is still really bad. They recorded 0 sacks, and 24 points is a lot for a crappy Miami offense. We won't win any games until the defense can stop teams from scoring. Overall, this game stunk. Elijah Moore was a bright light, but even his 141 yard day couldn't save the Jets. Hope they can beat the Texans next week, but chances are lowering each week. Go Jets!

  14. Whew. Tough one, jgb. Rosen might be more in the spin kick zone. I just can't take Flacco's blank, mental patient stare.

  15. Q: Who is better at running Lafleur’s offense than Wilson? A: Everyone, apparently.

  16. Yeah, I'm sure all 20+ women are just lying, attention-seeking, gold-digging whores. Much more believable than 1 rich football player being a piece of sh*t. That never happens.

  17. You guys have to let Watson go What you should be doing is thanking sweet baby Jesus that we didn’t blow all our draft capital (e.g. Elijah Moore, Carter(x2), and AVT) back in January on this dude only to have our world turned upside down a few weeks later.

  21. I don’t know what’s worse, the fact that we suck of the fact that the Dolphins suck even more and we still aren’t leading.

  22. Wasn’t that a 55-yard attempt though? No chip shot. I think Ammendola’s all right. Not one of our bigger problems.

  23. This years draft class has shown promise. If we can hit on 3-4 guys in one class, it'll shorten the curve substantially on time to rebuild. The Saints had one of those drafts a few years ago, where they basically hit on everyone. I genuinely believe that's what has helped them remain relevant post-Brees. Colts have also had a few drafts now where they've hit on multiple players each year. They're a good team. I don't love Wentz, but they're a good enough roster (when not all injured) to plug and play at QB.

  26. Easier to hold player A accountable when player B is a viable alternative. When the roster is as shallow as @JiFapono’s standards for a 1-night bang, it’s kinda hard to bench anyone.

  27. Rex = every bit the insecure, narcissistic jag off I’ve told y’all he is. Saleh = put him in his place. Saleh is the Alpha here. He clearly doesn’t need to constantly tell folks he is, which as you should all know is the immediate tell for a Beta. Rex is a bitch. This season is miserable, but I’m still a fan of Saleh and the hire. We need players. No talent acquisition or consistency for 10+ years was always going to hinder any ‘fast’ fix.

  30. What's the old joke? Guy walks into a bar and asks for 10 shots of whiskey. Bartender lines them up and the guy starts ponding them back. Bartender finally asks the guy why he's doing so many shots. Guy says 'cause he just had his first blow job. Bartender says, "Congratulations. Let me buy you another shot". Guy says. "Thanks, but nah. If 10 don't get the taste out".

  31. Exactly. Jet fans can’t wait to declare a bust. Rookie coaches playing more rookies than any other team in the league. Installing new zone systems on both sides of the ball which require players to know not only their assignments, but their teammates’, too. If anything, I think they were a little too cocky/confident, and underestimated just how big a job this was. I’m sure no one is particularly happy at One Jets Drive, but I also doubt anyone (except maybe Woody) is panicking just yet. This week’s game is basically a place holder. They’re hoping to steal a win with Flacco under center. But really, it’s all about what happens when Zach gets back in the lineup. If he can play efficiently, a lot of these other issues will start to fade into the background. A win today would ease the pressure a bit going into next week.

  32. Booster or no booster, if you turn on the game, you're still going to get Flacco-19.

  33. The Dolphins suck on both sides of the ball. We should be able to send out a corpse at QB and be competitive. Yeah they beat the Ravens. We beat TN. We both suck. At home this is a game we should be fighting at the end for a win no matter who we throw out at QB. Doesn't matter, were making a big deal about nothing.

  34. The jury is still out on whether he can turn this thing around because the deadly combination of injuries, inexperience and lack of talent/depth have sabotaged any real chance the jets had at being competitive. However, unlike others, i think his calm business like disposition in the eye of this sh*t storm of a season is exactly what a leader should be. Personally, I think his demeanor and attitude bode well for his long term success. I’m far more concerned by his refusal to hire experienced assistant coaches, the effects of which I believe can be seen on field in the form of poor execution by players.

  37. Not that I want to defend @jetsrule128 but if Duvernay becomes a competent starting RG for the Jets and JD got him for a guy who was cut a few weeks later--it's a brilliant move by JD. Yeah, I know, JD sucks blahblahblah but if Duvernay can replace GVR, this would be a massive win of a trade for JD.
