The lack of awareness in this situation is alarming and I'd be offended too, G. Wilson said it wasnt good enough, Saleh called it dog sh*t and Zach was like nah, it was the wind. He's the leader of the team and he took no accountability. He just made Saleh's job that much harder, not sure how he smooths this over to be honest.

This was all game long. People are like “but Mike LaFkeur”, but the receivers were there, open and ready… the plays were not made. Listen, we’ve seen this system produce most of our adult lives. It’s not a “but the play calls” problem when the QB isn’t recognizing opportunity, making throws, and/or making awful throws. This game was all about execution.

What we saw yesterday has been going on for weeks with Zach. Not sure why everyone is freaking out today. He has been awful all year and we have been winning in spite of him. Have you guys been watching the games? Nothing that happened yesterday surprised me in the least.

Zach career is ultimately coming down to this Sunday. If he stinks against a bad Bears team at home, the fans will let him know. I will be watching Carr and Jimmy G closely the rest of the way out.

I think the team has probably felt this way for a while but Garrett Wilson opened the floodgates for overt criticism. Gw is the leader on offense.

If the coaching staff gets this team into playoffs with Zach Wilson as the QB they should all be inducted into the HOF.

This could get very ugly. D is Championship quality, and the O - specifically the QB play - is selling them short. Zach's tone-deaf press conference just poured fuel on the fire.

Now it CLEARLY falls on Saleh to show who’s the HCIC and make a change/statement to the offense before he loses the locker room for having a double standard.

I'm done with this guy. He is the worst QB I have ever seen and he plays like he's scared. If you play scared as a QB your career is all but over. We can't continue to wait for the next good situation where this QB has what we call a good game throwing for 150 yards and a TD with an above 50% completion rate because if this team makes the playoffs (which is now in question) what he's putting out in his good games is simply not enough. I have never seen a QB who can't throw a simple screen pass or even disguise it. He can't hit a WR screen. He can't see players open by ten yards right in front of his face . He has no clue how to avoid the rush and continues to run back wards when he can run laterally and still keep his eyes down field. The offense never looks in sync when he plays other than a quarter here or a quarter there. Its either in the ground or sailing over receivers heads. With a competent game manager that runs the offense good this team would be at least 8-2 in first place and in the conversation for home field instead we have to look at this pile of trash play QB. Saleh is going to lose this locker room soon if a change is not made and its coming faster than you think.

Play-caller doesn't need to be changed. Clear as day the throws were there and Zach Wilson just wasn't hitting them or seeing them.

It's like when Q freaked out on the DC and told him to put the game on the D line and stop sending blitzers. Garrett Wilson is just saying to open up the passing game and stop playing like you are afraid the O will lose the game if you put too much on them. I think he's right. Let's open things up and see what we've got. I'd rather lose a 3 Int game where my QB passes for 355 yards than a game like yesterday.

I was really hoping after reading the thread title that there would be a picture of two perky boobs somewhere. Also, I don't agree with either point. The Jets haven't made the playoffs in over a decade so just making the playoffs is a huge step in the right direction. I think either one of the other QBs could win enough games with this defense to make that happen. Then you never know what happens. On the other point I think you can't just bring in competition. I think you have to p bring in a legit veteran starter who comes in as the starter. Someone like Jimmy G, Carr or Rodgers.

I want to be clear I don't take joy in pointing this stuff out. I'm sure every single Jets fan on this website and beyond was hoping and praying Zach would be the guy but he simply is not. It really does not even take any football knowledge at all to see what's going on here and just how terrible Wilson is at playing QB . At this point I'm having trouble finding one good quality in his game at all. I don't give a **** about his arm or the fact he can throw from different angles, if you suck you suck no matter how athletic you may be. Im also sick and tired of seeing mediocre games by Zach called "good games" simply because the team won. Every single game this team has won with Zach in the line up has been because of good solid defense and before Hall got hurt a great running game, Zach Wilson was along for the ride. I have never seen this kid once take this team on his back for a victory. I think in all his games last year and this year I can count maybe 4 or 5 quarters where he played really good and that in and of itself is terrible.

Out of the league. He can’t play. He has negative value right now. You’re getting nothing.

What did he say that was wrong. Zach Wilson was awful. And the only thing worse than his play was not taking accountability. Instead of “no” how about “yes of course the defense played good enough to win and we have to do better. That starts with me.” no accountability = no leadership = bad quarterback. It stings but we’ve built a good team and now have to bite the bullet that we missed on this guy.

Ok. Tough loss and a bad game for the QB. Still think he turns it around this season.
