  1. To avoid making a long post even longer and making a longer introduction, many of you know that I have a source within the organization. Many here can confirm this. My source and I have been discussing the Jets since Sunday and where they go from here and he dropped some tidbits on me that I’ve had confirmed to me by a second, more prominent, source and am now ready to share with all of you as I’ve been given the “ok”...so here we go: My guy is pretty certain that if the Jets don’t go QB, that they will either go Sewell and build around Sam for one more “do or die” season, or they will

  3. Hey guys, its been a little while since posting. Earlier this year moved out of my parents house into my own house, and in between re-painting EVERY ROOM but 2, I have been hard at work on my den which has become my Jets Man Cave. I'm really happy with how this has turned out. I had a rough idea of how I wanted to do things, but it became like a puzzle and all the pieces began falling place. There's a lot of depressing stuff going on right now, so i'm hoping to provide a little relief unveiling it off to the rest of my JetNation friends The first part is what you see when you com

  4. And no this isn't in reference to what Joe Douglas is doing to the Jets roster. People are fighting. Personal attacks. Name calling. Ruining the board. This is a general statement and a final plea for everyone to just use the Ignore feature if there is someone here you find that you don't agree with. We run this site in a pretty relaxed manner (try to) by design. That means we ask people to treat each other with respect. Unfortunately there are many cases were that isn't happening here right now. So back on March 29, at BYU’s pro day, with the Niners-Dolphins trade going down, Zach Wilson getting ready to throw and the tectonic plates of the 2021 draft shifting, Jets coach Robert Saleh ran down BYU alum Fred Warner, his former star middle linebacker from San Francisco, with a bit of a weird request. Warner was there to support Wilson and the rest of the Cougars trying to make thei

Now, I fully plan on also following the Jets. No doubt in my mind there will be thousands more like myself as we don't have an NFL team in Utah. I feel It's going to be a fun year. Go Jets!!

  11. I'm going to preface this by saying it is just an opinion; I have no inside information here, haven't asked anyone a question yet (I intend to), and is purely based on my own personal observations. With that said, if the adds of Corey Davis and Keelan Cole indicate anything, it's that we should not expect this to be a San Francisco-style short-passing offense. Whether or not that means a change at QB is coming, I don't know, but its my opinion that this personnel meshes better with Zach Wilson's game than Sam Darnold's. I don't want to make this about "whose better" because truthfully, w

  12. No more, "why couldn't he convince Joe Thuney to sign with the 2-14 Jets over the back-to-back AFC champs?" Or, "remember that time he took a backup QB with the second of three fourth rounders? I'm still not over that!" Or, "I can't believe he's signing guys who might not even make the final roster. Why doesn't he sign eighty-five starters?" Don't worry, kids, your time is coming! With this draft, the Jets will be cemented as Joe Douglas' team, for better or worse. He's got his hand-picked head coach. And not just the only coach who would take his calls, but a highly so

Failing to support the young Franchise Quarterback (You know, the guy you just traded away for about half the amount it cost the team to draft him...). So IF you DO draft Zach Wilson or any of the other young Quarterbacks in the draft, if someone in the room suggests drafting Defense at 23 or 34 throw him out of the F***ing War Room!! Support the QB!! And if we hired yet ANOTHER Defense Minded Head Coach that needs fi

  15. Hell of a job by Joe Douglas in year 1. Known players: 1) Mekhi Becton - already an elite LT. Huge score here for Douglas. 2) Denzel Mims - looks to be at minimum a strong #2 type with potential for more. Another hit. 3) Ashytn Davis - Man he showed a lot tonight. Physical. Fast. Instinctive. He's the kind of player that will get better and better every year. I'm a fan. 4) Braden Mann - excellent punter that can change field position and kick off. That's 4 hits with future starters. Perine looks like a contributor at a minimum for years. Zuniga, Clark, Morgan an

If you love a QB you don’t fck around. Joe doesn’t love Lance at 8. He either loves him at #2 or not at all. There is no cake and eat it too scenario. Trade back means Darnold and playmakers. Pick your side of the Fence.

  17. Firstly, I want to apologize for some of my long-winded and in some cases aggressive posts over the past month. Unfortunately I let some of the members of this site get under my skin too often. Part of it is because I think some of the attacks and skepticism has been unwarranted, part of it is an old-school “say it to my face” (lol sigh) mentality, but mostly it’s because I hate the social media culture being established and accepted - not just here, but everywhere. I can be a defensive person. Always has been the case. My girlfriend used to say that I was “addicted to conflict.” Can’t say I t

You got Jamien Sherwood AND Hamsah Nasirildeen, both of whom I liked as big nickel candidates. And to top it off, you took every Michael Carter that's ever lived. Great draft for Douglas and co. **Puts on troll hat**. It's weird to see the Jets making well thought out, competent, logical draft choices and getting great value in each round. I hate it.

  19. -Better Head Coach (Gase was the worst I've ever seen.) -Better Offensive Coordinator (Did we even have an O-Co under Gase, really?) -Better Offensive System (Shanny-style WCO > Gase Insanity) -Better QB (We have to presume Wilson won't be dead last in the NFL, otherwise why would we dump Sam and draft Wilson, amirite?) -Better at RB (No more feeding old Gore.) -Better #1 WR (Davis over Perriman.) -Better #2 WR (Mims healthy vs. missed most of season.) -Not having a depth guy like Berrios be #2 in Catches at WR, lol. -Better O-line (almost by default,

We are 4 games away from: - Having the ability to draft the "next big thing" at QB - Basically having three first round picks (#1, #25, #33) - Having five premium picks in the first 3 rounds. And with a tradeable asset in Darnold potentially adding a sixth one - Having the most cap space in a year when the cap is going down Stop the fake crying you're embarrassing yourself

I will support the sh*t our of that dude. I hope the same can be said for Zach if he is the pick. Would be sad if fans with the opposite opinion turned into vultures waiting for our QB to flounder. That is all .. and yes ... the post probably has little value. Just wanted to say ... a rook being put in the position of giving this sh*tshow a rebirth deserves our complete support. Cheers

Joe Douglas does not leak. First and foremost we are all looking for rumors and the Jets direction right now. With the utmost confidence I can tell you that whatever you are hearing from whatever "Sources" are either : A) just hypothetical guesses that are simply correct a random % of the time. B ) Leaks that Joe Douglas wants you to hear. For Example the CJ Mosley news should just tel

I am a grateful Seahawks fan and no, I am not here to talk about Adams. There were a number of us Seattle fans, a little more analytical in our evaluations that think you got one hell of a Tackle in George Fant. We (Seahawks fans) were hoping that eventually he would take over for Brown at LT as Duane Brown is getting close to retiring. George Fant can move and use his feet. The first thing you need to know about how the Jets arrived at the decision they did is that, in a normal year, they might’ve pulled the trigger a lot sooner than April 5. In fact, about a week before free agency, Douglas had a deal on the table that was good enough to move on. At that point, the first flash point for the Darnold market—the late January trade that sent Matthew Stafford from Detroit to L.A.—had gene

  32. Between 1998 and 2010, over 13 seasons, the New York Jets made the playoffs 7 times (>50%), Had >=.500 record 10 times, and played in three AFC Championship Games. Over this time the Jets offense finished below 19th only twice. Since the end of that era (the last 10 years), the Jets have had only a single winning season, have finished last in the AFC East 5 times (with two more 3rd place finishes), and have not made a single playoff appearance. Over that same period, the Jets Offense has been ranked higher than 24th only one time, in our only winning season in that period. Fo

  34. We just saw what can happen when Deshaun Watson is on a team lacking talent - he goes 4-12. We are so much farther away from contending than just a QB. We need all the help we can get, we need all the picks we can get. Trade down, sign FAs, do anything to get an influx of talent. But don't give up a ransom for Deshaun. That's where I'm leaning. Okay, now talk me into how we get Deshaun and still get better. DC

  35. Latest I've heard is that a person of interest thinks 49ers DC Robert Saleh will land the job. They cautioned that they haven't been told anything and that the primary decision makers have been pretty secretive, but this was this individual's hunch. There will be follow up meetings and the team is pushing the league to allow for in-person visits, even if the Jets have to go to them. Word is expected from the league within the next 24-48 hours. I've been told by someone else to not rule out Brandon Staley. The playoff performance merely improves the media narrative, but the Jets were impr

  40. Notes Atlanta: hiring Fontenot is an indication that Joe Brady is at the very least the runner up for that job. Arthur Smith is likely their top candidate with Brady coming in second, but may strike on Brady to avoid risk. Detroit: Brad Holmes is the favorite for the GM job, but if they hire Ed Dodds, the likelihood Saleh goes there increases. Assuming its Holmes, there's a number of ways the HC could shake out. Arthur Smith, Marvin Lewis, even Todd Bowles could be in the cards, as well as opening up the search to include Brandon Staley. Houston: They will probably be th
