  1. I heard that it's a great town, especially on home game weekends. I'll be there!
  2. I knew this was coming... Here is my post from Oct 11, 2012.... Here's some advice to the PSL holders who are are sorry they got themselves into the mess, can't afford the tix any more, are sick of the increases in the PSL seat ticket costs, sick of paying full price for pre-season games, are pissed that the Jets decided to sell upper bowl seats for only $50 bucks; killing the value of YOUR tickets or just regret ever making the decision in the first place... There is NO resale market for Jets PSLs. This is a life sentence! So if you want to get out of your PSL and you're thinking th
  3. I get waht you are saying, but once they lowered the upper deck to $50 a seat, ALL BETS ARE OFF! By doing that they de-valued all of our seats. Try selling a game on Stub-hub now. Why would someone pay a premium for your seats when they can get 50 buck seats on stubhub or ticket exchange. They are screwing us all over, we just need to realize it!
  4. You are 100% correct! This is what it says in the contract! If the Jets have anything different on their website now, it's because they changed it to frighten fans who want to walk away. They're worried about this becoming widespread... and you know what.... they're RIGHT!
  5. Who are you?? Woody's personal assistant??? My contract does not state that! The Jets must have changed that and posted it on their website to scare fans away from walking away! They are very sneaky! Many I know are in fact walking away because they cannot sell their PSL on the open market for the amount that they still owe, never mind breaking even. The ONLY penalty is that the PSL holder loses whatever they paid already, they cannot buy tickets and cannot get future tickets. THAT IS IT!! So if you're planning to walk away GO RIGHT AHEAD! It's the smart thing to do, don't let them scare you!
  6. The difference between a Jets win or loss to Buffalo this Sunday can result in the Jets drafting anywhere from as low as 7th to as high as 14th. Also, it's a 2013 2nd place schedule vs. a last place schedule.
  7. 3 years?? Try 40 years, Pal! You must be mistaking this team with the other NY team. Don't you know that this has been virtually the same team the past 40 years???

  9. You have a choice Pal. You can moan and groan if that's what you like to do, or you can take an interest in the perfect team that we share a stadium with. I have enjoyed some exciting Jets football during the Tannenbaum-Ryan regime. The team is nowhere near horrible and if you call not bitching and moaning "settling", so be it. Just remember your griping isn't changing a damn thing when it comes to the Jets winning or losing, so why bother??
  10. I agree with you 100%. I guess they all look at this as a gripe board. Never seen so many complaining miserable bitches in my life. I've been a fan for 30+ years. I've seen a lot. The Jets don't have a rich winning history like the Steelers, Cowboys and Pats, so how can you complain about the regime that's in here now?? Believe it or not, this is the winningest era ever for this team. A lot of credit needs to be given to Tannenbaum, but the bitchers & moaners on this board always need something to complain about. They're all perfectionists. Not sure why they haven't switched over to the Gi
  11. I have a lot of respect for Pennington. He would make a great QB coach, especially with the knowledge of Sparano's system. You guys are a vicious bunch. Not sure why some of you are still Jets fans. Nothing but negativity on most of these posts. Miserable bastards... Root for another team! Like they say... "If you don't like it, get the f**k out!!"
  12. I'm bringing my 7 year old son to the Jet-Giant pre-season game this Sat. Does anyone know if the players still sign in the lot after the games? I remember years ago they used to have a few beers in the lot and sign autographs for everyone. Do they still do it? If so, where do they come out and how long after the games?
  13. I was at the epic 51-45 Miami game in 1986, but I left with Miami up by 7 and at the Jets 25 with about a minute and a half left. When we got to the car we heard a massive roar, which was O'Brien's TD to Walker with no time left to put the game into OT. We ran back into the stadium, up the down escalator helping drag old drunks that couldn't make it up the whole way! We caught the OT and saw O'Brien hit Walker for a bomb (his 4th TD catch) to end the game. Side note... the Jets got very lucky becuase Michael Harper fumbled the opening OT kickoff and the ref called him down. the Jets got the s
  14. I'm tired of seeing these NY Titans unforms. When are the Jets gonna break out into their 80's kelly green & white? Those are the uniforms that I think of when I watched the Jets as a kid! No black, just simple green and white with their thin styled numbers. Brings back memories of McNeil, Walker, Shuler & Mehl! Time to bring those back!!!!
  15. Going to Pittsburgh week two with a small group. Anyone out there familiar with Pitt? Any tips or suggestions? Does anyone know of any good pre game bars to catch the 1pm games? Tailgates? Sat night? I heard that it's a great town.
