I think they placed the jets about right. With better QB play we could be higher. But that is a horribly disorganized podcast. Fundamental rule: If you are going to do lists, do them in some kind of order. Seemed like they were jumping all over the place, stream of consciousness.

There are options for Calamari but Ranch is not one of them.

Yeah, people are “fine” with peaceful protests as long as said protest is in the dark corner where it affects no one and can’t be seen. Dudes kneel for a national anthem and they’re “shoving it in people’s faces.” Yeah.
I never have understood why Americans feel the need to have the national anthem at every single sporting event even down to high school level anyway. I think it’s so weird. I stopped standing for them years ago.
Historically, we didn't really have it on a regular basis until World War II. And for some reason, we never got rid of it at the beginning of games after the war. Might be more patriotic to save it for special occasions as virtually no one is singing it and people are having conversations, spitting and drinking beer during it. I think the sports leagues like it not because of patriotism but because (except in the post season) it gives them further opportunities to show commercials.

I don't either. Unless they are shoved in my face when I am trying to watch a game.
So if he kneels, that’s too much for you? Or wears stupid socks? Dopey as it might be, that’s his business, as far as I’m concerned.

Raiders and Davis trying to accomplish two things with this strategic marketing ploy.
1. Prove that they still don't care if the masses or the league object to the controversial moves they make.
2. Davis is making good use of a media-made character to exercise the ghost of Chucky.
But... These Raiders are a cheap imitation of the historic Raiders in every respect.
My statement here has zero bearing on CK's politics and everything to do with his game on the field. Even before the politics entered the CK story, his game was full of holes. Now that he has been out of the game for years, he is twice as useless on the field.
This is marketing and politics.
He was definitely better than many backups in the league. It’s been a long time, though.

He wants a job from the league he got a massive law suit settlement from...….
I don’t know why that doesn’t bother me at all.

he doesnt need a job, he is loaded. he needs to start. to play football. and he will get none of that with Vegas. sitting on the bench all year is not the opportunity he is looking for. so whats the point.
People do get hurt. Did this guy screw your wife?

this is strange. he has no chance of beating out Carr and Carr has missed only 2 games in 8 years. i dont see how sitting on the bench helps him. i hope he isnt going to try something funny.
Like getting a couple mil to hold a clipboard? Doesn’t sound too funny to me.

So if they not writing any Jets stuff, aren't we already boycotting them? Why would a Jets fan read it? For their world views?

I'm thinking intentional interference with business relations or contract.

Guy does seem like a royal douche, I have to say.

Just saw in the New York Post that the airport guy got axed. Hope it was worth it for these two dopes.

I heard him interviewed on the Turn on the Jets podcast a couple of weeks ago. The guy doesn't hold back, whcih is why he is a good interview but also probably why he never became a head coach.

How long does he get for his wife to have the child? He's not having the f*cking baby.
There's so much to be optimistic about coming out of the draft. We should be taking that momentum into OTA's but of course Becton doesn't show. Just like last time if you'd have asked the fans which player wouldn't show we all know who the first guess is. But people really want to act like this isn't a red flag. Come on.
My wife would have divorced me if I didn't take a few days off on the birth of my children. And I was under a lot of pressure at the time to get back to work. That time with the newborns was very important to me as well. And when I am on my deathbed, looking back at my life, I doubt that I will be wishing that I had gone to work for those two weeks, I suspect that this will seem extremely insignificant when the season is underway.

Maybe Buttle can follow around Wichusen and make sure he doesn’t take any extra jobs.

Papa will drop any commitment for the NYG. Do we know that to be true for Wischusen? I just think Bob W is getting too big for this role and want a more dedicated voice of the Jets.
This is beyond silly. They all have other gigs. The other jobs don't affect his performance at all.

Is it? Maybe the Jets should pay him more for exclusivity
You are really going to double down? You mean like the Giants do with Bob Papa?

He’s broadcasting NHL and NCAA football and basketball for ESPN. Shouldn’t the voice of the Jets be exclusively focused on the Jets? You don’t see Bob Papa doing non Giants stuff.
Yes you do. Papa does golf. He does boxing. He does Thursday night games. He does Sirius NFL radio. I’m not sure you know how this works.

I loved Rizzuto, White and Messer. But was pretty sure that Rizzuto would be gone after the seventh inning, (That huckleberry.)
