You shouldn't think.  It's not working for you.

Yes, because I am of the opinion that a coach who has a 5-14 record even with the benefit of a miracle win is somehow not a good head coach. Get a clue.

It's the NFL - games are won and lost, every week, on the edge of a coin.  You can look at this game multiple ways and say if it goes one way or the other Jets can run away with it or get blown out.  Jets made the plays at the right time to win the game.

Can't look at one play - and make a statement like that - just too competitive and tight of a league.

At least that's the way I see it...

This wasn't any NFL win. This was a miracle. The Browns had a 99.96% chance of winning the game until the circus showed up in Cleveland. Chubb should have just downed the ball at the 1 instead of scoring. Game over. They also missed the PAT. Then they allowed an 80 yard pass to a wide open receiver. They then failed to recover an on sides kick and to top it off they allowed another TD in the last minute. Again, I'm thrilled with this miracle win but the Jets would lose 999 times out of a 1000 in this same situation. This does not change my opinion of this HC one bit.

Why are you an insufferable loser?

The thing is I'm not and I'm actually one of the more positive posters on this board. I still think that Saleh sucks as a coach. Deal with it.

    Wow...such a bad take.

Nothing I said was unreasonable. The Jets were down by 13 points with less than 2 minutes to go. The Browns did so many things wrong it was almost impossible to be that bad in such a short time. They had a 99.96% chance of winning that game and they blew it with their clown show antics. I am thrilled with the win but that does not make Saleh a good coach all of a sudden. I have zero faith in him.

    That's fair as well.

But like I've said, I wont be happy until this guy is at minimum above .500

I wouldn't count on him being around long enough for that. I'm with you. The Jets were the recipient of the Browns clown show the last 2 minutes and Saleh is still a bad HC.

  6. Saleh still sucks. The Jets were down 30-17 late and the fact that the Browns stole a page from the Jets playbook doesn't change that Saleh sucks.

Greeny doing his best impression of the haters on this board.   For a sports journalist, youd think maybe he d get into specifics?  Like 3rd down conversion efficiency, 3rd down defense, sacks, penalties, play calls, etc

Greeny is a moron and a whiner.

I think he’s just frustrated like all of us. He sees the talent but things just haven’t all clicked.
And also annoyed by impatient fans that take out their 40 years of frustration on him as if he’s been here for more then 10. Just like they do with every coach.

If you can't walk the walk then don't talk the talk. Stop the "All Gas No Brakes" and PVO bullsh*t and just try to win some games. 4-14 is not a good look for a coach to be talking tough and pushing back against the fans.

It was a strange game and a game that the Jets have lost so many times over the years. I would call the game "competitive but not close" if that makes sense.

Basically, the Jets moved the ball as well or better than the Ravens did for most of the game, but made crucial errors that prevented them from scoring. Missed FG, terrible interception, drops, and fumbles. The Jets made all of the untimely errors that blew the game open.

Of course, the QB play left a lot to be desired, especially for a guy who was supposed to "clearly" be the best QB on the roster.

Poorly coach teams always seem to make those mistakes.

You guys are crazy. Jets just kept the best tradition they have in tact. Make your fans leave start of the 4th quarter and your complaining about coaching

Isn't that a big part of why fans are leaving early?

For the record Saleh is a Bowles type a chef as good as the ingredients you buy him

The Jets didn't exactly break the bank with these coaches. They find guys and hope they will improve

Saleh's not a miracle worker. He's like a C+ head coach. The defense is way better though

Ask me this game is on JD for building a roster around Zach wilson. The highest draft pick since Keyshawn. It's also on JD that Flacco is the backup. And it's JDs fault for drafting Braden Mann etc. The Duane Brown signing.  I don't know if piniero vs zuerlein was jds choice but it's his fault that was the choice

This is JDs roster. Saleh can't just start streveler it's not how the chain of command is set up

Saleh does nothing but talk a good game and his teams look woefully unprepared.  This roster is far better than when JD took over but yes he has made his share of mistakes and one of them is hiring Saleh. Coaching matters and we continue to fail in that area.

It’s a PC, I don’t buy much by what is said to the media.

Just like I don’t believe in Santa Claus.  It’s a PC.
You want to tell us what he did wrong today, go for it.  But the bull shlt about what he said post game is nonsensical.

Stop the All Gas No Brakes and PVO bullsh*t and just win. He's a loser and his teams are ill prepared. 4-14 and counting for the fraud.

Didn't this happen last year? The offense was MIA, and the D performed well for the first half of the season? Then the O picked up and the D fell off a cliff to become the worse in team history?

The defense didn't perform well ever. They were the worst defense in the league by far and allowed 30 points against per game.

7 years IS a long time ago.  In that span:

    • I received three promotions at work
    • The Mets played in a World Series
    • I became the PA Announcer for a D-I Basketball team
    • I met the love of my life, got engaged and then married
    • Your Nats WON a World Series
    • We all went through a global Pandemic and have been through 3 different US Presidents
    • The wife and I moved from Wilmington to Raleigh

And there are a bunch of posters here who had middle school kids at that time and recently sent those same kids off to college.  OR, had babies around that time and just sent those kids off to 2nd grade.  OR had a kid graduating HS around that time and now that same kid is getting married or even having a kid of his/her own.

All of that has happened since the last time the Jets had a remotely watchable offense.

I watched a bunch of really exciting competitive NFL games today and then I watched the Jets. The defense played pretty well but I'm just so sick of this offense being allergic to scoring points. Game after game. Year after year.
