They say:
Hey Jets fans. The Nike Tim Tebow Jets jersey will be available for preorder on April 15th. Stay tuned to NFLShop.com for exclusive updates on officially licensed Tim Tebow gear and apparel including jerseys, t-shirts, and more.
"Preorder" two weeks from now?
True. Good point.
Still, with all the demand I would think that a big company like Nike could cut down the lag. There are thousands (millions?) of new customers each year when a free agent switches teams. Reebok put out "faux" Tebow jerseys within a week. It was probably a desperate cash-grab in this case, but still...
*Shudder*
Also, why is there such a big gap between the expiration of Reebok's NFLPA agreement and Nike's new production? There's at least one big-name free agent every year, so you'd think the contracts would have that covered. I want a Landry jersey. I can't get one. Crap.
Good point. Back in their heydays you knew exactly what you were getting with Schwarzenegger, Stallone, Bruce Willis, Van Damme, etc. We'll probably never see actors like that again.
I'm an Arnold fan myself, and I think the original Total Recall worked because it didn't take itself too seriously (case in point: the chick with three boobs). This one looks like they're going in the opposite direction, and it's going to be an enormous diarrhea mess because of it.
Jeremy London is on there. My first thought was, "Hey, it's that guy from Dazed and Confused":
and then I realized it was actually this guy from..."Party of Five," I guess?:
Either way, totally worth it.
Ah, yes, "Brown Eyed Girl." I always liked doing that one. I'm primarily a bass player; that song has a fun line to it. I'll try out your way of playing "Copperhead Road." I'm all about using capos.
Nice. I like your style. I'm listening on a crummy set of headphones; as soon as I dig out my good ones I'm gonna check out the rest of your stuff.
That song reminds me of playing bars around here: people always want to hear Tom Petty, Mellencamp and for some reason there are always requests for "Black Betty" and "Copperhead Road."
