  1. Out of curiosity, is there an easy way to compile the 10 or so busiest days ever? I know I did over 1,000 posts just by myself back on December 11 when the 100k thread hit its goal. I would be interested to know what the total for that day was. That said, for the sake of context, we were 5-8 at that point and coming off the shutout in Denver so there probably wasn't much else going on besides the usual doom-and-gloom and "where we gonna draft" posts which follow a later-season loss.
  2. How wasted was Susan Sarandon last night?
  3. I always end up drinking on the nights we turn the clocks back, because I feel like that extra hour of sleep will prevent the hangover. It never does, but that doesn't stop my flawless reasoning. On another note, it sucks ass to go to work in total darkness during the winter, then have it be dark again when you go home. DST takes a little bit of the edge off of that vampire feeling, so I am a fan.
  4. In this case, Maggie. I am really not a fan of that super-short hair look on most women. There are a few exceptions (Halle Berry comes to mind), but in my opinion it just doesn't look right on the majority of females. Call me old-fashioned, but I can't wait for the pixie-hair trend to die out. Cases in point: Emma looks 12 years old. And Scarlett looks like Chris Isaak in drag.
  5. I have a feeling 90 percent of the population would pick Anniston, but I'll throw this one out there:
  6. I've always been a Mary Ann guy. I'm partial to brunettes, and Dawn Wells has that girl-next-door thing down pat.
  7. Salma all day long. The woman does not age.
  8. Olivia Munn Or Sarah Jean Underwood
  9. It'll get appealed; I doubt anything will come of it.
  10. I have a couple of shotguns and I do a little skeet shooting here and there with friends. I kind of suck, but I enjoy myself. Every time I miss, I half-expect the "Duck Hunt" dog to pop out and laugh at me.
  11. Okay, I was only going to watch a few minutes of this but I ended up sitting through the whole thing. Funny stuff, and a lot of good points made. It warms my heart to see a video like this, with people of all races, creeds, colors and sexes uniting in their hatred for Episode VIII.
  12. The body is made from Tasmanian blackwood and features a stone top - yep, you read that right - while the African ebony fretboard has been inlaid with stones and shells and Jared Dines' logo portrait. The neck is a nine-piece construction of mahogany, Tasmanian blackwood and ebony and is reinforced with carbon alongside three truss rods. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Huh? That's... that's a little overboard.
  13. Dafuq is this thing? Looks like it's a sh*tload of unidirectional mics all working together somehow. I don't get how it would separate say, certain bass frequencies and a kick drum, or discern between similar guitars. I am intrigued, though. I want one. If it works like they say it does it would be amazing to have. *Passes hat around*
  14. Woah, that's awesome. I have loved Rancid & Operation Ivy ever since I was a kid. Matt Freeman was one of the main reasons I first picked up a bass.
  15. Setzer is a dick? He seems like he would be a nice enough guy, but then again I know a lot of people who are real assholes when they think no one is watching. I'm only a couple hours away from Chicago; I'll come watch you play sometime.
  16. Yes. Please send your extras to me. I only have six.
  17. Four decades is an eternity in metal years. I'll give them credit for staying badasses for so long, and never really compromising their music or changing their image in that time.
  18. People like this remind me of what a sh*tty guitar player I am. Makes me want to put my Strat down and go find a new hobby, like knitting. Then again, if I did take up knitting, I'd probably find some videos on YouTube about some old lady who is bad ass at knitting and makes my knitting look like sh*t. Oh well. I guess I'll just try to enjoy sucking at guitar.
  19. I would like to know how in the world that ended up in a pawn shop. Whoever pawned it must not have known what they had. Or maybe it was stolen.
  20. I'm a Fender homer so I'd be interested in seeing what they've got in the pipeline. Anaheim is just too damn far away though; I'll have to check it out on YouTube or something.
  21. Somehow I've never played the series even though it seems like it would be right up my alley. I usually love fantasy/RPG type stuff. I guess i thought it would be like Pokemon or something. The new one coming out in a couple weeks looks pretty cool; I think I'll pick it up.
  22. Ugh. I just saw this today. We've probably got at least two Kreider-less months ahead. Nine days after being diagnosed with a blood clot in his right arm, the Rangers announced Friday that left wing Chris Kreider will undergo a rib resection surgery to address the issue. Kreider remains out indefinitely. He was not having the surgery Friday. Kreider was removed from a Dec. 27 game against the Capitals after the first period when the swelling and discomfort he began feeling before the game worsened. He was immediately taken to a hospital, where the clot was diagnosed. The 26-year-old has 11 goals and 11 assists in 37 games after leading the team last season with 28 goals.
