  1. Ok this thread has inspired me. I'm now going to put a good number of poster on iggy. Everyone seems to be trying to out humor and our ahole everyone and I'm damn tired of it.
  2. If we take a QB then AR8 would be one sulky SOB. Our Owner/FO/CS would never risk that.
  3. Pretty good post, thanks for the point of view, esp the bold.
  4. Perhaps but IMHO having either of the other two out there would be more demoralizing. I'd bet the fans would boo less with Zach under center now that they have seen the alternatives.
  5. You have to be kidding. Clearly Zach is broken but none the less he is still better at QB than the other two.
  6. Compared to Hackett, MLF was a superstar. Look, let's face it, for Zach's entire tenure his OL has been a total disaster mostly due to their injury rate. Not making excuses, just stating two undeniable facts. But yes as of now Zach is broken.
  7. I'd take Zach over Flacco. It's almost hopeless vs hopeless. Flacco is done.
  8. Well said. When winning this CS/FO look great but when losing they look BY FAR THE WORST ORGANIZATION IN THE NFL. There is a saying is chess, "any plan is better than no plan at all". Outside of "hey we got AR8", these guys have no plan at all.
  9. If all Saleh has on his mind is symbolism then we are in a lot more trouble then we think. If correct then this is another sign of an inept HC.
  10. I've been wishing we could get Zach behind us for a while now. I know it's very premature but I'm beginning to wish the same for AR8 and let the fall out be damned. When will this team ever catch a break?
  11. Zach was the best of the rest of the QBs available but many many thought he did not rate as the #2 overall pick. I definitely had my doubts but once JD traded Sam I knew it was a done deal. I of course was in the keep Sam and trade the pick camp before all that. Just another ship that sailed right on past us.
  12. Déjà Vu all over again. For that last 13 years baring 1, we've been dead in the water half was thru the season. Time and time again we've all complained...well you might as well play the untested guys. But as usual our CS of the moment is always too slow and too dumb to oblige.
  13. I'm solidly in the "I'm not watching any more Zach vids" camp. I wish he was no longer on the roster but that is not about to happen. We're stuck with his presence for another year unless JD pulls off another miracle trade. I'm done.
  14. In fairness you could do the same thing with any thread here and find asinine posts to rant about but I take your point.
  15. What we really ought to do is interview Geno Smith (if he would) and ask him how he turned things around and what might have gotten him there earlier. The point is we don't know what we don't know.
  16. This OL contains only one player who was a game one starter. Injuries crushed our OL which made our offense disfunctional. This is a fact. The real question is would a competent HC/OC make these guys borderline serviceable? The answer of course is yes. The conclusion is our HC/OC are incompetent. All else is just beating a dead horse.
  17. Good level headed post. Thank you. With this epic fail of an OL, mobility trumps.
  18. I don't want to knit pick but The Failed Mary rolls off the tongue better IMHO.
  19. We are shell shocked. We therefore are unable to be objective. What I am going to say will sound like an excuse. 1. Due to injuries or whatever the OL is an epically fail. 2. With this OL you can not FULLY evaluate or judge the skill players or the CS. 2a) the OC sux 2b) the QB room sux 2c) with 1 exception the WR room sux 3. The HC is a HC is name only. His O has gotten worse since the day he arrived. Bottom Line, it's difficult to assign blame for our current mess. Since I still like and support JD, Saleh, I'm looking at you!
  20. Hey stats guys, how many times in NFL hx has the D scored more points than the O at halftime?
