  2. New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie confesses he wasn't suited to advise anyone how to spend their money when he blew through $5 million in two seasons with the San Diego Chargers.

Nowadays, he's willing and able to share just that message.

"Right now, I try to put away as much money as I possibly can and live on a budget," Cromartie said in a Newsday interview. "I learned the hard way."

Cromartie said he has gone from a collection of nine cars, including a pair of Cadillac Escalades and a 1965 Caprice, to a tiny fleet of which his primary ride is a Toyota Prius.

What are the friggen odds that a Toyota Prius gets mentioned in the topic of a new thread twice in one week?!?!?! Like the friggen odds of that!! First Keyshawn, now Cro! Wha da hell is going on here anymore??!!!

  3. Last year was an anomaly. The entire offense was injured, and those able to dress were subject to Sporano's (clearly) ridiculous offense. One which, I'll go out on a limb and suggest, was a designed sabotage to the Jets.

What Sanchez did with fifth string WRs, zero TEs, and passive aggressive play calling was admirable.

He is an excellent leader. He WILL carve out an excellent career in this league. And he will inspire hundreds (if not thousands) to sport headbands. Give him an opportunity to do the whole, roll-out and pass on the run thing (something he's actually really good at), and some decent talent at the other end of his passes, and you'll all be believers like me.

Mark Sanchez WILL be our starting QB, and he will excel in a WCO. Mark my words.

He's good (not "real" good; but definitely "good enough"). He's smart, he's mobile, and he has an arm. He's heard your grumbling and will respond with a much (MUCH) improved performance this year.

I'm sick of the crap talk and the booing. He is the starting QB of your New York Jets, and he deserves your support.

YOU HAVE TO BE OUT OF YOUR DAMN MIND!  THIS QB YOUR REFERRING TO IS WEARING A DAMN HEADBAND TO PRACTICE!!!!!!!!!!! A FRIGGEN HEADBAND!!!!!!!!    HE NEEDS TO GO JOIN A SOCCER TEAM OR PURSUE A CAREER AS A EUROPEAN TENNIS PLAYER WHERE HEADBANDS ARE ACCEPTED!!!!   WHY DOES OUR QB HAVE TO START FLAMING TRENDS?!?!?!  HE SUCKS AND HE IS THE FARTHEST THING FROM A GOOD LEADER!!!!!!!  HE'S GETTING BENCHED FOR GENO SOONER OR LATER - WHETHER YOU WANA ACCEPT IT OR NOT!!!   IM GONNA HAVE A FRIGGEN STROKE OVER THIS DAMN SHT SO I GOTTA GO NOW!!!!!

  4. FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) -- New York Jets rookie quarterbackGeno Smith has no concerns about questions surrounding the process in which he picked an agent, saying ''Jay-Z didn't recruit me.''

Smith fired his former agency, Priority Sports, shortly after the NFL draft last month and announced last week that he signed with the hip-hop star's Roc Nation Sports. Smith also said his contract agent would be Kimberly Miale.

NFL.com first reported that the NFL Players Association is ''aggressively pursuing'' Jay-Z's role in getting Smith to sign with his agency. Agents not certified by the NFLPA can't recruit players to sign with certified agents, as Miale is.

Smith, competing with Mark Sanchez for the starting job, says he chose Roc Nation solely because it was something he and his family ''felt comfortable with.''

  5. Any and every successful offense starts with a solid offensive line. Nobody wants to admit that, because we love to shop in the snack aisle. But our most successful draft in the past decade netted us 2 probowl offensive lineman in brick and mangold. The first pick taken this year was a tackle. Cooper and warmack were both taken before the drafts highest rated qb. There's a reason. A superior offensive line makes up for mediocre running backs. A superior oline gives you an extra second to make decisions, and an extra second or two for wr's and TE's to get open. They get you across the goal line on 4th and two. They get you that first down. They open running lanes. They change your scheme and force the defense to adjust. Watch Alabama's dominance last year and the line is what jumps out at you. When we had brick, mangold, Moore, faneca and woody, we were contenders for the Super Bowl. With Sanchez behind center no less. If we truly are rebuilding, nthen we are going to have to get the line settled once and for all. Otherwise we're just spinning our wheels.

All good points about the OLine...but without a legit QB, you can only remain a contender for the Superbowl...

and your right, a successful offense may start with a solid offensive line..but it finishes with a solid QB.

  6. I spelled that out for you--I even typed it for you real slow--but I guess we will just have to wait and see---Im not here to fight with people---I got ran out 2 years ago for saying  Mark Sanchez = Kyle Boller   the local mob came after me---we know how that turned out.

Not fighting w ya bruh....Sanchez sucks but they ain't cutting him. And c'mon...charlie batch?!?!

Don't want to send an email to the black hole on the site - does anyone have any info for the actual email addresses/contact info?

    Thank you in advance...

    Sure...Woodys email is igotawoody@gmail.com.
