  1. Honestly, its more the fact they are a "Jets Cheerleader" that gives most these girls all this appeal.  A girl that was on the flight crew 2 years ago goes to my gym.....and truthfully you probably wouldn't give her a second look, and thats both now and then.......but if I pointed out she is/was a Jets cheerleader, now your telling me how bad you wanna fck her. Truth

  2. Rex Ryan might have been fired by the New York Jets, but he holds no ill-will for the franchise that gave him his first head-coaching job.

The Bills coach told NFL Media's Judy Battista on Monday that he holds Jets owner Woody Johnson in high regard despite the sour ending to Ryan's roller-coaster tenure in Gotham.

"I had a million positive things from that," Ryan said in comments that will air tonight at 7 p.m. ET on NFL Total Access. "Woody Johnson -- to me -- will always be a friend of mine. He's a guy that I respect. The man gave me a job when no one else [would].

"He's almost like a big brother and he was outstanding ... but he had no choice, he had to fire me. He had to blow it up to start again. He couldn't justify bringing me back again."

It's a magnanimous perspective for Ryan, who has every right to be frustrated by how his time in New York ended. Former Jets general manager John Idzik did little to augment the vital back end Ryan's defense last season, a major reason for the team's subsequent 4-12 collapse.

Two months after Ryan's dismissal, the Jets invested over $125 million in the secondary. The spending spree was highlighted by the re-acquisition of Darrelle Revis, an all-time Ryan favorite.

That has to sting, though Ryan's "start again" sentiment also makes sense. As a partnership, the Jets and Ryan had stagnated after six years, the last four of which did not include a playoff appearance. The time was right for a break, and both sides now seem content.

If only all divorces could be this pleasant.

  3. Anytime the Jets seem like they have a chance or are building on something, the same image pops into my head over and over.  I need this erased from memory before I die.

  4. I've been wondering about some things myself:

    - The bearded dude in Knocked Up starts out the beard bet what is obviously over 9 months before he gives up. He only had 2 and 1/2 more months to go. Who gives up at that point?

    - Do blind people have lower electrical bills?

    - Why are glue sticks round instead of square? It would be so much easier to get the corners.

    - Who is actually thinking of all these different types of cereal? Is it just one guy or is there a team?

    - Evolution must have been a pain in the ass for giraffes. They must have been like "god dammit Fred, we're not eating sh*t for like another 10 generations."

I thought about this glue stick question all day.....all i can come up with is it would be much harder to twist the glue out of any other container that isn't round.  Thats all i got though

  5. I think if the Jets changed their colors away from the color green, it would subconsciously allow our minds to cut ties with our Jets fan-hood....you know, for all of us who have been "bleedin green" for so long......and who knows, many of us may now consider the Packers or even the Eagles for our new team to support due to this abrupt color change of the NYJ uniforms....we may be looking for a new green uniform to support.

With that said, i welcome a new color change.

  6. This what worries me about cooper. When pressed by a talented corner, he doesn't get much separation. If you expect Cooper to win 50/50 balls you're going to be disappointed. Cooper is a slot receiver and would be a mistake to pick him up in the slot. People think that his production against sec defenses automatically makes his game translate as a #1 WR. SEC defenses are honestly not as good as before.

    you sure?

  7. Looks like you don't want the division as bad as we do.

    Already in FA.

    DT - Donkey Kong Suh

    WR - Kenny Stills

    TE - Jordan Cameron

This actually isn't a troll thread. I was looking at the Jets FA transactions so far and I'm finding it hard to see how you are "getting better."

Looks like it's gonna be a Pats/Fins race for the division at this point.

Last time I went to Miami, I got blackout drunk, groped my friend's mom, woke up naked on the patio with all my sh*t covered in gallons of vomit. That gives me less shame than being a Dolphins fan.

  8. He can't even talk to him until 4pm tomorrow. Revis doesn't fall into the legal tampering group of players.

still, he gotta know what he gonna pay Revis before he knows what he gonna pay other high profile free agents

  9. hahaha...

It sure seems that way.  And I think Revis knows it - he's going to hold them hostage for an absolute fortune...it's going to be $45 over 3 all guaranteed.

He sure is....I was thinking more like 13-14mil/year but 15mil/yr seems realistic too.

tbh, I'm just praying I can break my Revis jersey out again next year....like it didnt even miss a beat
