He clearly isn't comfortable in PC format but listening to him being interviewed on ESPN radio he sounded normal.

Yeah, you can tell the big presser is not fun for him.

But in a one on one interview later with Jenay Coakely he came across as personable and comfortable and perfectly fine, imo. Nothing to not like, and I was initially negative on him and looking for reasons not to like him.

Granted I knew nothing about him and it mostly about my hate for the Dolphins

    Schein knows nothing

we say that about a lot of people but Schein really, genuinely knows absolutely nothing hes an awful broadcaster who has failed everywhere who keeps getting gigs like Sid Rosenberg he’s a rich boy in the good ol boys club

How anyone could listen to that schmuck is beyond me. It's a matter of principle to not listen to him.

    1. Raissman’s job as a sports media critic is to troll the FAN, and he’s writing this column to stick up for his NYDN colleague, Manish. Raissman and Phil Mushnick are horrible people who have Mike Francesa to thank for their otherwise valueless careers.

    2. New York sports media used to be great pre-digital because you had old salts actually doing legwork to cover the team. Now, it’s just a bunch of kids blogging their feelings about the teams they ostensibly cover from their mother’s couches. It’s a shame.

    3. The FAN, too, is doomed because of awful personnel decisions. The morning show with Boomer has always been embarrassing (it’s less bad with Carton in the penitentiary, however). Benigno was fun on his own doing overnights, especially after a Jets loss, because it was a place to vent. Pairing him with Roberts has sucked because Evan is like white noise; incapable of producing an original or interesting thought. Francesa is operating at 35% mental capacity these days and is really just doing shtick at this point, and his show feels like paying to see Frank Sinatra Jr do his dad’s greatest hits.

    Spot on

The same guy that threw 40 TD's and was a top 5 MVP candidate with the worst o-line in football, then threw 31 TD's while playing with a torn labrum, and then came back after not throwing a football in almost 2 years and threw 39 with a bottom 5 receiving core and was a top 5 MVP candidate is overrated?

    That's wack.

Yeah, the guy who never makes an excuse for himself. That guy.

I thought this was a parody thing until I clicked on the link and, no, there is indeed a “Presidentmal dot com” adress and they are, indeed, hawking a $25 t-shirt with this horrifically amateur design on it to sell to, I presume, idiot tweens who kinda like football, but who are actually on a course to become submissive BDSM sex slaves in rapidly approaching, forthcoming years of their pathetic lives.

What about this blanket bro? You could use at the stadium or use it to join the mile high club on a road trip flight.

Nah. He's having a tough game, but he's been an awesome player when healthy and he's already had some great playoff games.

Every great QB has taken their lumps on the road in the playoffs.

Brady, Montana, Elway, Marino, etc. All of them.

Yep. Tough spot and circumstances today. If he's healthy he'll be good next year

I kept WFAN on the radio this week only because I was so eager for any new on the head coaching search. But man it is horrible. The same 4-5 dumb f*cks calling in to come up with unrealistic hypothetical trade situations, and b.s. theories.

Then comes Beningo going full on stereotypical dumb mamaluke from "Nu Yawk." That sh!t is unbearable.

Hey, if you're a blue collar drunken outlier, I wasn't referring to you.  I was referring to the 95% of the rest of us at MetLife who have great careers and strong families and don't need to use a stadium as a sports bar to get wasted and escape life.

    SAR I

Actually I'm a dealer from The Lower East Side and I got cash Homes. It's fans like us that make that place rock now
