Wait a second! Didn't you just say it?

6 minutes ago, Defense Wins Championships said:He's way too raw and inexperienced @ QB.
He only played 10 High School Games.
And he's only played 18 college games (1 year of experience).
He's the most inexperienced QB to EVER be considered as a first round QB prospect (project).
And the lack of competition he's played is another red flag.
No experience @ QB + lack of competition = no thnx you.
PS: He looked absolutely horrible during his only game of 2020.
Holy crap is that inexperienced! OTOH, what does that say about his skills if he's still considered a 1st rounder.

Just now, jgb said:Lots of people were wrong about Darnold. But now that the evidence is in, some people unfashionably choose to continue being wrong.
Did Sam improve in any area under Adam Gase?

23 minutes ago, SAR I said:Tannehill isn't a great quarterback. He's a game manager with the best Ground & Pound offense in the NFL.
Sound familiar?

"Sam Darnold is a top 4 AFC quarterback". Sound familiar?

Did you think that way after his rookie season?

2 hours ago, T0mShane said:Your reminder that, on the list of People To Blame for the past two years, Adam Gase is, maybe, fourth on that list.
30 minutes ago, SAR I said:Exactly.
And if Gase does go, they'll dance around naked covered in blood in front of a huge bonfire in celebration, not realizing that it's actually the darkest day in modern Jets history. No quarterback, no coaching staff, starting from ground zero again.
Typical Mets fans, cheering for the wrong thing at the wrong time.
SAR I
You think Gase was the 4th biggest reason for the Jets' failure this year, yet you're criticizing those who will be happy about him getting fired and think it's the darkest day in modern Jets history?
We'd be starting from ground zero regardless of whether Gase was here or not. Though we'd be in far worse shape if googly eyes were back for another season.
-
The correct thing to do would've been to announce, prior to the game, that Gase was not being brought back next year.
I mean, he should've been fired after last season (well, he should never have been hired) but that's another story.

Which, regardless of how you feel about the job he’s done here, he has earned.
Gase has done a great job.

And, again, you so-called geniuses are always wrong, always thinking flipping a HC or a QB is all that's needed to get us to the playoffs.
Turns out, Ryan Fitzpatrick is the one who got away. The guy whose contract made you want to vomit, good lord I remember the arguments. We'd have done a lot more winning from 2017-2020 with Fitz under center than the parade of garbage we've had since.

Turns out, no one could develop Tannehill, he was a lost cause, a windmill to chase for 6 long years.

It would be absolutely hilarious if they waited until Tuesday to fire him.

I am no peewee football wannabe Belichick rolling around in my team sweatpants all weekend at the local bagel shop on Long Island--you know the type--always has a whistle around the neck.
Tell me: out of ALL of Sam Darnold's flaws, what was his #1 most tragic flaw?
What was Sam Darnold's #1 "achilles heel" in his game?
Sum it up in one sentence of less. No diatribes.

Just now, Warfish said:In fairness, we don't really know that either.
That's the thing, no one really knows WHAT Bienemy is or isn't. He's not in charge of anything or responsible for anything personally, which makes it impossible to tell what he IS to be evaluated on.
I just wonder if Bienemy is more responsible for Pat Mahomes than Gase is for Peyton Manning.

He remembers all the plays on the playsheet or some BS like that. The Chiefs can't wait for someone to hire him away from them.

Sorry all. I need some laughter out of this team.
