  1. The Broncos have "been in touch" with Jets free agent Ryan Fitzpatick's agent, according to the NFL Network's Mike Silver (March 10). Denver's reported interest in Fitzpatrick adds yet another wrinkle to his negotations with the Jets. Earlier Thursday, the parties were reported to be "nowhere close" to an agreement. The Broncos need to replace Brock Osweiler, who bolted for Houston Wednesday. They are also reportedly interested in the 49ers' Colin Kaepernick, but haven't settled on what San Francisco would get in return. The Jets have also reportedly expressed interest in Kaepernick.
  2. Didn't take mike tanny to long to put Miami in cap hell
  3. An ESPN article today ranked the five worst salary cap situations in the NFL. The three worst were the three other teams in the AFC East, the Dolphins, Bills and Patriots. 1. Miami Dolphins $166.9 million in cap commitments for 2016 2. Buffalo Bills $166.3 million in cap commitments for 2016 3. New England Patriots $159.1 million in cap commitments for 2016 A team run by Mike Tannenbaum has the worst cap situation in the league? Shocking! All joking aside, this money is not all guaranteed. There are cuts and restructures these teams can make to get back under the cap. I

  5. Miami Dolphins defensive end Cameron Wake left Thursday night’s game against the New England Patriots with an Achilles injury, and it would appear it was the worst kind. Armando Salguero of The Miami Herald reports that Wake ruptured the Achilles tendon in his left leg and will miss the remainder of the season. An MRI confirmed the injury Friday morning. Wake, a four-time Pro Bowler, is Miami’s best pass rusher. Since Joe Philbin was fired and Dan Campbell took over as interim head coach, Wake has recorded seven sacks. All seven came in the span of three games, and he sacked Tom Brady Th
  6. We're No. 1." No, not in the standings and not in the ubiqutous online power rankings. But the Jets' strong start has resulted in any number of new and old No. 1 rankings in the NFL after six full weeks. Let's review: 1. Rushing Offense Led by Chris Ivory and his blockers, the Jets rolled to 221 rushing yards against Washington, which lifted their average to 146.0 yards/game and their rank from seventh to first for the first time this season. Last time the Jets were No. 1 in rushing offense this late in a season: nine of the last 11 weeks of the 2009 season, when Thomas Jones held sway. 2.
  7. Redskins WR Jackson (hamstring) out vs. Jets Redskins receiver DeSean Jackson was downgraded to out because of a strained left hamstring, further hampering a team with a growing injury list
  8. http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/power-rankings Finally some love #7 Other sites have jets at #8-#10
  9. The reason I want Miami to win is they have the the tougher schedule ahead of them since they have already played 2 winnable games. The bills have played 2 of the tougher teams on their schedule. They are more inclined to win more just because of schedule, so let's bury them early, and Miami will loose just due to tougher schedule.
  10. Eric Decker exploded during the first half of the New York Jets victory over the Indianapolis Colts on Monday, but he later exited the game due to a knee injury. According to Darryl Slater of NJ Advance Media, head coach Todd Bowles is hopeful Decker will return but isn’t sure the receiver will be available against the Philadelphia Eagles. Todd Bowles says Eric Decker is day to day with a sprained knee. Bowles isn't sure if Decker will be able to play vs. Eagles. "Hopeful." — Darryl Slater (@DarrylSlater) September 22, 2015 If Decker isn’t ready for Sunday afternoon’s
  11. That is exactly what I said in my last post....haters want to only look at the bad. If Geno only played good in his last game that would be different, but he strung 4-5 good games together at the end of the season. This is not coincidence. He just needs to build on the last 5 games. History has shown even very good QB's take 2-3 years for the light to come on Akiman, Elway, Eli, Payton, to name a few. Yes there are a few that play Good from the start....Luck, Brady. But they played in pro style offences in college. Rogers even had few years on the bench before he started. I am not crowni
  12. Last Quarter of the season he ranked 3rd in QB rating. I hope he can pick up where he left off. I am optimistic about Geno with Chan calling the plays & the new weapons, Marshal & Smith. But this is his last shot. He has to show more improvement this year or he'll be playing for Chip Kelly with his buddies Sanchez & Tebow. next year. Then again there is always REX and his liking for Jets Castoffs. But I am Optimistic If Geno had a bad last Quarter of the season the Geno Haters would be all over him for it. But because he ended the season well...they over look this. The wa
  13. Geno Smith has a new coordinator and some new weapons. And after experiencing the highs and lows of two NFL seasons, the Jets hope Smith can become a more consistent signal caller in 2015. “I think Geno, when I’ve looked at him now for a couple of years in the NFL, I see a quarterback that’s getting better,” said ESPN analyst Ron Jaworksi. “He’s forgotten the mistakes and I still remember going to Morgantown, West Virginia for his Pro Day and outside of Robert Griffin III – it was one of the best pro days I’ve seen. So he can make every throw, he can do everything it takes to be an NFL quart
