Hey we are just messing around a bit, but we wrote a breaking news headline generator. It lets you put in a headline and upload an image. Trying to figure out how to roll it out. It is being updated but here is a sample of a beta version.

Can you give me some ideas on what you would enter:

    1. Picture

    2. Main text heading

    3. Sub text heading

I want to mess around and create a few to test it before we open this up to the public.

I’m four episodes into Watchmen on HBO and it’s a self-satisfied mess where nobody says anything interesting, the characters are flat as f*ck, and the scenes that the writers think are really clever are Hardy Boys-level tripe. What a desecration of the source material, but even besides that it’s just a huge waste of an interesting premise. Then I realized it’s Damon Lindelof of “Lost” fame and it all made sense. What a ******* hack.

I thought it was good up to the nostalgia drug stuff. This is where he loses me.

My wife and I are huge foodies.  We actually have a foodies club we started a few years ago.  I'm actually the active President right now.  We call it Jax Foodie Club.  It was exciting for us since we're such big foodies.  We all get together at some great place for some food and talk about our foodies experiences.  We've learned a ton about the culinary world from each of the other foodies that come to the meetings.  She started a blog a few years ago to share some of our finest dining experiences, it's called, The Traveling Foodies.  We're such big foodies we love finding great places to dine when we travel.  We've been to over 20 Michelin star restaurants covering 7 countries.  It's kind of like our thing and it's really fun when you meet other foodies.

We just did SingleThread in Healdsburg, probably the finest dining experience of the year for this foodie.  My wife has a great post on her foodie site about it but you'd have to be a part of our foodie community to read it.

Wanting Sam Darnold in your mouth doesn't make him food.

Yo, I think you are really onto something. I was watching the game with my boy, and he kept saying how bad our Oline is. And I was saying no, the line is actually fantastic, one of the best, and its Sam Darnold that makes them look bad. He has WR open like mad, and instead of throwing it to them, he just holds it and sits around forever until the other team sacks him. I think you are right, the Oline is actually fantastic. Can you send me some of the easy to comprehend, indisputable evidence so I can prove this to my dumb friend who thinks its the line?

People who are too invested in their feelings to look stuff up for themselves aren't generally going to be open to persuasion if you do it for them. I'd say lose the friend.

Hakeem Olajuwon.  Michael Jordan.  Charles Barkley.  Sam Bowie.  These 4 names will always go together.

Much like the 2003 draft:  LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade, Darko Miličić.

    Big Darko fan, are you?

Brady looked his age last year too

Gonna be a tough road having to get past both Baltimore and Kansas City. Kind of disappointing that Roethlisberger is out because this AFC bracket looks like one for the ages.

I did't mention injury in any of my posts.  A crushing, but legal hit that does not result in an injury can have the desired effect.   I assume all the naysayers don't like Greg Williams ???  Football is somewhat like "sausages" for some.  You may love them until you see how they are made...

Lay wood. Jack. Knock poop loose. Sausage.

    This is entrapment.

I think it's clear that it's either 100% Gase's fault,  100% the Olines fault, or 100% Darnolds fault. I suggest a battle royal between the leading proponents and various strawmen to settle this once and for all.

Pretending that the debate on Darnold is whether or not the number is 100% rather than whether or not it's 0% is the biggest strawman yet.

Well if you are evaluating the statement, that Sam Darnold is "the most talented QB we have seen here in forever" ... yes, he is being compared to Geno and Sanchez. Like I said the bar is set low in that regard, a QB could be much better than those two and that could still be good enough to not win it all.

I will say it again, Darnold has a ton to prove. He is a young QB, really young and I believe he will continue to get better. Have seen some hate his way, not all here in the forums. Some of it is on our social media accounts. Just don't get it, the offensive line is terrible. They can't run the ball and the drops today were bad. He had no time and some people are saying he sucks.

What is the alternative? Joe Flacco in the offseason?

When he messes up people should be critical of him. He isn't a lock or a guarantee. I just like what I see and think they have 99 problems and he isn't one.

Everyone please like this post because that will make Tom Shane cry.  :)

The alternative was Teddy Bridgewater and six draft picks instead of Darnold and Edoga. And the jury will be out on that until the homers all develop amnesia and never really liked Darnold anyway. We've done this before.

No please don't assume that. Cursing got us banned from an ad network (along with other things that have been corrected). So as I posted in the other thread, we need the ad revenue to pay the $600 a month in bills here.

So even the stuff that usually gets starred out is no good now? Okay. Now I know.
