    There's a longer version of this article that I read.. can't find it anywhere. He went deeper and explained the way they choose weekly captains or whatever they called it. I agree though, longtime senior QB should have been named a captain. Add that in with the way he accepted that trophy... kinda seems like a douche.

    Strongly doubt they'd take on a $16-17 mil per contract and move back 13 spots while missing out on Goff.

    mccags spent years in houston witnessing the team fail to get over the hump with hoyer and schaub.  the last thing he wants to do is replicate that team in ny.  he knows fitz is limited, knew it in houston and saw him fail vs buffalo 2x.  his goal is to get a qb, he is not in win-now-or-bust mode.  bradway, tanny and idzik all failed to find franchise qbs and in 3 years woody will look to replace mccags if he doesn't find one, that's how he operates.  

    Yeah, prior to Houston signing Osweiler we had to worry about Houston trading ahead of us to get Lynch if he were to fall. I think it'll play out as us trading back a few spots and taking Cook. Little difference in talent between 2nd rounders and 4th rounders this year and I assume we'll try to stack up on those amount of picks through the Mo trade and trading back. Even if they feel it's a reach for Cook to go in the twenties (which they probably do) I think they'd be comfortable making that pick knowing they still have many valuable picks in the mid rounds of this draft.

    I knew Mo was the only 300 lb plus DE since Sapp to get a sack but I didn't realize he had enough mass to create fusion and release gamma rays upon implosion. Makes you think.

    Haven't watched him since I wrote this, but was hoping for more feedback/opinions on him. To me this guy is either someone I'm painfully wrong about, or someone who is obviously a reach. Is his hype all hope-driven in the respect that he has the tools to be a fantastic LB? He certainly has the tools but IMO hasn't exactly showcased them in action. I know he ran a good 40 too if I'm not mistaken.
