  1. Guys that don’t fit their “scheme” they (coaching staff) are unwilling to coach up and develop and just stick them in the doghouse: aka Mims
Mims has not done himself many favors during the season with the chances he was given. There were reports that becton showed up to camp out of shape and that mims was lazy before the season started...we may be overthinking things here and it could just be these players put themselves in the doghouse?

  2. The idea of this to me is silly. If we win a few games it could just as easily bring us out of a position where we get the can't miss guy and have to take someone else but it can always go the other way and be a blessing in disguise where the guy we get ends up being better anyway. No point in crying for losses we will get a good prospect either way and we will still need more than that one prospect to play good for our team to not be a joke.

  3. Given the choice, I go for the premium positions in round 1 and get another center at some point.  Some good ones in this class.  I like Lindstrom from BC.  If you grab a legit edge rusher, an elite OT to pair with Becton and Lindstrom?  I'd do it.
No doubt if you can grab an elite edge rusher or ot that outweighs center but outside of Neal I don't know if there is a tackle I would draft as high as we are set to pick right now. I could definatly see us ending up with a blue chip edge rushing prospect this year.

  4. Do you take a center with a top 10 pick or grab edge, CB or OT?  Was fine with Linderbaum when I thought the pick would be in the mid/late teens.  If it's in the top 8 or 10?  Nah.
If you think the center could be the next mangold I don't think you hesitate. Tricking yourself into thinking you need to draft one position at a certain spot and passing on a player you believe could be great for your franchise for the next 12 years is how bad teams build imo.

  5. Ive been doing about 3 a day LOL.  Been looking at alot of under radar guys since a trade back in rounds 1 & 2  would enable us to add players.  If we can do that, we could acquire a boatload of very talented players.  Have seen alot of film and profiles. I'm drooling over these guys: DT  Leal, LB Loyd, RB Spiller, Edge Sanders, S Joseph, CB Wright, TE McBride, DT Haskell, LB Muma, S Verone McKinley, OT Raimann,  WR Rambo.
I think alot of those guys you are drooling over are not really under the radar prospects...those are guys who should be gone within the first three rounds.

  6. It probably starts with strength and conditioning...we have stars on both sides of the football who have been out pretty much all season in becton and Lawson. Aside from them there have been other decent players hurt on and off all year (well aware every team has injuries it just always seems to be our best players).

  7. We were told to "be patient" with Sanchez, Geno and Darnold.   That's not a great indicator that patience in Wilson will result in success.  Sometimes (even most times), what you see is actually what you see.
If you focus solely on Zach and his throws then what you see is a young QB making many terrible mistakes over and over. If you are looking past that you will see a receiving group dropping too many catchable passes (some are not clean but still catchable) and an offensive line that isn't giving our young QB much time to process. Zach definatly needs to be held accountable for some of his mistakes but he is not the only problem we have right now.
