I would stand where I am. If jenkins or creed humphrey are there at 23 I draft them if not I consider trading down and getting an extra third. I'd be happier drafting a corner in a draft light on corners at 23 than I would be reaching for offensive line help or trading up for one we need every pick we can get if we are going to build around our new qb and give him a fighting chance. My guess is because some people have seen this song and dance before. We draft a qb ignore pieces around him and hand him terrible coaching then we clean house and repeat. The Jets will continue to do this until they get it right but it has been so long now since we were viable that we have to believe they will get it wrong again until proven differently. Darnold was an excellent prospect coming out of college there is no doubt that the Jets ruined him. We gave him one of the worst offensive lines in football, some of the worst weapons in football and changed his coaching staff every season. We went from in inanimate head coach to a coach who believed his system was more important than any players talent. I hope darnold finds a great deal of success with the panthers and I hope we learn from this blunder and provide zach wilson with a better team.
