  1. He was a Terrible signing. Good riddance to a lazy , ineffective , and ROTEN offensive lineman. This should send a clear message to any Jet players to be accountable for your own POOR Play . And not place blame on a rookie QB for holding on to the ball too long when giving an interview. Sent from my iPad using JetNation.com mobile app
  2. It’s a violent game, so you have to expect the probability of injuries. I do think that has has a history of looking for a big pay day and always sitting out with a groin or hamstring excuse . He can play. Sent from my iPad using JetNation.com mobile app
  3. Just a to say thanks for putting the 2 minute highlight tape together. I knew him from my studying/preparation with my fantasy football addiction. You can see that he has an ability to shed blocks and tackle. And, he tackles in open spaces, by himself. I was home that the Jets would consider him before he signed with the Saint’s. He has had some injuries, like more players would. No sure about his blitzing ability or coverage skills. But, signing him reduces the temptation of over drafting a rookie LB early. He does have familiarity when our defensive system and terminology. I hope that we sign him rather than wait until after the draft when some other team does. 4. Thanks for taking the time to put the highlight tape together, nice job. I knew about him because of my fantasy football addiction, and I wanted the Jets to bring his in before he signed with the Saint’s. You can see that he can shed a block to my a tackle and he can tack in open space unassisted. No sure about his ability to blitz or cover. And he does have a history, like many players, of getting hurt. But, we are getting desperate for LBs who can make plays. And , he would solve a potential problem of overdrafting a rookie to fill a need. He has familiarity with our scheme and probably would like to show that he is more than capable a playing. 6. Every time I hear his name mentioned on TV , he gets paired to being selected by the Jets. Apparently, he fits with our supposed zone blocking scheme. In spite of his shorter arm length and lack of ideal size and strength. Sent from my iPad using JetNation.com mobile app
  7. I’m an old guy and this player probably predates a lot of you. But , watching Ohio St RB Archie Griffin when I lived in New Jersey was truly remarkable. I believe he is the only college player to win the Heisman Trophy in back to back years. Getting drafted by the Bengals was a kiss of death for his NFL career. I really thought that his running abilities would be impactful in spite of playing for them. What a Shame !!! Sent from my iPad using JetNation.com mobile app
  8. I’m not advocating, just looking at Value at #4. So far you have to be very concerned with Becton’s potential bust status and this being Fant’s last year here because of what he might be looking to be paid in his next contact. Drafting one of the 2 highly rated OTs gives you good/strong options for this year and looking ahead to next year. The draft is about Value and trying to be remain true to your Board. But this is just another opinion based on what I’m hearing. None of us are wrong, because we aren’t Douglas, and don’t really know what conversations he’s had with other Teams and within our Staff. I’m glad that you all are interested in doing your offseason and draft homework. Although, sometimes opinions get heated and passion runs ahead of logic. 9. Nice job putting your draft forecast together. If you watch the analysts and reporters on TV, they seem to be hinting similar predictions. Today, I believe that an OT would be our pick at #4. Because of value and potential need. At #10, although there is some good potential talent, I’m not so sure we are locked in at WR, because I’m hearing there really isn’t a True #1 WR in this draft . Hence the attempted trade for T. Hill and the continued chatter for a possible trade for Brown or Metcalf. I think Douglas will trade for one of them and will have to Overpay them on a contract extension. But, we need to try to get Zach a weapon to be part of his growth development and evaluation. 10. Guys, in case you are not aware, he lost his sister to suicide in January 2018. This obviously had a Big Influence on his mental well-being so early in his career. He currently works on being active helping those with mental health issues. If you go to NFL.com and search his name you will be moved by this young man. Add this to the story of the Williams brothers losing their mother to breast cancer growing up. And having to deal with that depression and making it to the NFL. I hope that you all join me with your support and positive comments for them and any other teammates with similar circumstances. Sent from my iPad using JetNation.com mobile app
  11. He has a back ailment and played in only one game last season. Sent from my iPad using JetNation.com mobile app
  12. WR A. Robison has agreed to sign with the Rams 3 years and $46.5 million. We don’t entertain LB Myles Jack because he can tackle. And now a receiver who can catch and help a young QB. But we did resign OL Denny who doesn’t really block and DL Sherwood who won’t and can’t Tackle. My…My…My Sent from my iPad using JetNation.com mobile app
  13. What a Freaking Shame. Good for him going to a Team that will get the best out of him. This coaching staff really scares me. Sent from my iPad using JetNation.com mobile app
  14. I watch his play quite often , because I often draft him on several of my fantasy teams that you play with defensive players. He is a 26 year old 6’1” and 255 lb linebacker who is a tackling machine. He is able to go sideline to sideline to stop the run. Not really sure about how coaches rate his coverage skills , because I focus my on his ability to tackle. Jacksonville drafted him with the 5th pick in round 2 because I believe his draft stock dropped coming off an injury. If your an NFL coach and can’t refine his playing skills to play for you, then you Should be Fired. I’ve never heard anything bad about his attitude or willingness to play. It’s my opinion to Claim him off waivers , find a way to coach him up , and sign him to an extension. Sent from my iPad using JetNation.com mobile app

  16. I was looking at our roster construction and noticed the lack of depth at QB, LB, and S. I remember the pre-draft hype surrounding 1st round pick Karl Joseph and saw highlights of big hits for a 5’9” 205 lb. Safety , but often got beat in coverage. Was looking for anyone who watches the Raiders regularly who might have an assessment if that is someone who JD will claim today if JAX doesn’t. Sent from my iPad using JetNation.com mobile app

  18. One more very important thing to recommend. The pain meds will constipate you. Take stool softeners three times a day. Or you will get very uncomfortable around day 5. Sent from my iPad using JetNation.com mobile app
  19. I have Osteoarthritis and am 66. I tore the cartilage and meniscus in each knee at different times requiring surgery. I was also bone on bone and slightly bow legged. I had the left knee replaced last June and then the right knee last October. The pain is not unbearable, but expect to be very really sore for the first 48 hours . I had outpatient surgery and went home. Ask your doctor if you can double the pain meds for 2-3 days, if needed. Sleeping will be tough for a month. A visiting therapist should come to your home every other day for the first 2-3 weeks. Do the exercises. Then you will go to rehab . I had 30 sessions and went 3 times a week. And did the recommended exercise routine at home in between therapy days. Buy the $35 ice pack that the therapist recommends and ice your knee down 3 times a day or as needed. The pain and stiffness does slowly subside. I was going to “John Wayne” it and do both knees at the same time and I’m glad that my doctor talked me out of doing. All in all I’m glad that I had it done and feel much better. Hope that your surgery and recovery go well. Sent from my iPad using JetNation.com mobile app
  20. Bleacher Report is reporting that he did tear it and is out for the season. What a Shame because he was doing so well in the off season program and training camp. Sent from my iPad using JetNation.com mobile app

  22. I agree that Rosen probably was the Jet’s backup plan. His political views and mouth would have really clashed with Woody’s. And could have accelerated his demise. Sent from my iPad using JetNation.com mobile app
  23. You are not the only one after watching his senior year. You, me, other fans, and TV Draft Analysts all missed on this one. Reports on interviews and his character are generally kept from us. Here is a prospect with all the physical tools who just can’t apply it to playing at the next level. “What a Waste of Potential “. Sent from my iPad using JetNation.com mobile app
  24. Totally agree with your statement. The Jets may engage in talks with other Teams , and may set parameters for a possible trade. But, they should not finalize trading the #2 pick until the Jags actually select Trevor Lawrence or Houston might reconsider trading Watson because they see value in Wilson or some other QB as the franchise replacement. Assuming that all the Dirty Press regarding Watson concludes with a “Non Sexual Happy Ending” . I don’t believe Joe Douglas would trade all those picks to acquire Watson with all the dirty laundry still unsettled. Sent from my iPad using JetNation.com mobile app
