  1. Randy Starks & Stevie Johnson are now on the market: Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter · 40 minutes ago Dolphins released Randy Starks this morning. http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/5596/randy-starks Ian Rapoport @RapSheet · 2 hours ago #49ers WR Stevie Johnson will be released today pending Torrey Smith passing his physical and signing his new deal. No pay cut for him. http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/11458/stevie-johnson Our DC (Kacy Rodgers) had Starks in MIA and we're looking for DLine depth. And we all know Gailey had Johnson in BUF
  2. Based on Jason's calculations we have almost 29 million left in cap space: http://overthecap.com/salary-cap-space
  3. Good cap planning & management. Props out to Maccagnan, Graves and the administration staff
  4. Based on Jason's calculations we still have almost 29 million in cap space: http://overthecap.com/salary-cap-space
  5. If we are still talking to Cro I wonder if we are looking to flip him to FS. Bowles could tell him "Look I'm concerned with your hip affecting your speed. I want to move you full time to FS to extend your career"
  6. No need to go overboard: - Sign Gilchrist for S - Sign a veteran blocking TE - Pick up Fitzpatrick for QB - Sign Canty for DL depth After that draft: #1 - OLB #2 - WR #3 - ILB #4 - RB
  7. Who cares!!! If he was still here there would be no vision/plan for the offense and that entitled, undisciplined attitude would still be in the locker room
  8. When I see NE get "penalized" for the deflation of balls then I'll believe we'll get penalized for "tampering". Woody will probably get a fine, big deal
  9. No need to pay big $$$ for a free agent. We should wait for the draft and take Beasley, Fowler, Ray or Gregory
  10. Can we stop with these stupid threads!!! What should the organization do, not try to improve the team because we don't have Rodgers, Luck or Manning??? Improve every area that you can and hope they can carry the QB like in 2009 and 2010
  11. Brian Costello @BrianCoz · 1h1 hour ago Source confirms safety Marcus Gilchrist visiting the Jets tonight and tomorrow, as @RapSheet reported. #nyj
  12. Hopefully we give Revis and his "crew" one offer and say take it or leave it. Don't dance around with him if he wants to "negotiate" tell him no and go get Culliver or Cro
  13. Skrine was one of the "middle class" CB's I was looking for. The people that watched him in CLE know that he was picked on constantly because he was playing opposite of Haden. But he held up and most importantly he plays bigger than his size
  14. Here's Skrine's stats: http://www.nfl.com/player/busterskrine/2495343/profile Check out his "passes defensed" those are great numbers. He was thrown at a lot because Haden was on the other side. Aggressive man corner who plays bigger than his size
  15. Something to keep in mind, Powell it seems signed a 1 year deal and Ivory is in the last year of his contract. So don't be surprised if we look at one of the top RB's in the draft to groom going forward. Particularly if we pull off the PHI trade, maybe Gordon or Gurley at #20
  16. So true. He was basically handed the opportunity to be the starting QB. Gruden was sick of Griffin and was begging Cousins to take the job. And he wet the bed and gave the job to McCoy
  17. You have to take her seriously. She broke the news first that Bowles was taking the job and that the Jets were in on Marshall. I wonder if she's related to Bowles or his wife???

    Ryan Mathews

With questions about where Powell & Spiller will wind up I wouldn't mind if we look into Ryan Mathews as a complement to Ivory. He's been hurt a lot but maybe in a rotation with Ivory we could get a full year out of him: http://www.nfl.com/player/ryanmathews/497188/profile
  19. Before everyone goes off on Carpenter, hopefully nobody lies and says "when I watched SEA I focused on their guard play". We all know that's not true, let's deal with facts: - Bowles has had to scheme against SEA offense for the past two years so he knows Carpenter's game - Maccagnan was a Scouting Director when Carpenter came out of ALA so he knows Carpenter's game - Granted Marshawn Lynch is a beast but SEA OLine has something to do with him being successful. And on top of that they are a good running team when they use other RB's - We were linked to Carpenter by Tony Pauline back on February 21 so obviously we targeted him - http://www.draftinsider.net/blog/?s=james+carpenter So I'm going to trust my GM & HC over any fan's opinion or analytic site

  21. Props to Tony Pauline who had Carpenter news back in February 2015 NFL Combine- Saturday 21FEB The quarterbacks and receivers take the field today as do the running backs. But we’re always looking ahead. Here are a few preview notes on tomorrows workout of defensive lineman and linebackers, the latest free agent news as well as our first supplemental draft candidate. Over the past 24 hours sources have told me two bits of free agency news. The first is the New York Jets will be in the running for Seattle Seahawks offensive lineman James Carpenter. And the second, which may be old news for some but comes from sources involved in the situation, is the belief that Julius Thomas is done in Denver.

  23. What people don't like in Pryor is due to the fact that a HC/coaching staff didn't address the issues of a rookie coming into the league. A rookie should never be late to meetings and should only speak when spoken to. But when a HC "gasses his head up" you see the immaturity of a 21-22 year old come out
