You won’t need the towels Johnson & Johnson will fire Bowles at the end of the season. Even if the Jets beat the Bills, the last 6 games are pretty tough. It will be embarrassing when MetLife is filled with Packer fans on 12/23.
As fans who spend $1,000's each year, this neanderthal offensive and team attitude has to end. It starts with a silent, no emotion coach on the sideline and a GM who would have trouble finding a diamond in a bag of ruby's. The towels and billboards worked last time, we need to do it again.

We've gone to the well too many times with defensive head coaches. Mangini, Rex, Bowles....its been well over a decade. Meanwhile, I'm watching the two best teams in the NFC coached by Sean McVay and Sean Payton, and the best team in the AFC coached by Andy Reid. Offense, offense, offense. The Super Bowl last year? 1 punt. Won with offense by a former Quarterback turned Head Coach in Doug Pederson.
Wake up, Jets!
It was fun watching that Rams/Saints game. Coaches really showing the emotion of the game, coaches talking to players and just overall an exciting game. Bowles has as much emotion as a rock. This really sucks for the Jets fan base. We don't get games like that. We have a team that can't even execute the most basic play in football, THE SNAP!

We need the “Fire Idzik” towel guys to come back for the Pats game with “Fire Bowles and Mac” towels. First game after the bye week and usually that is one of our worst games. This team is an embarrassment. A center who could not hit the side of a barn fron 6 ft away, a WR WHO IS STANDING OB waiting for a pass. No wonder why he was open. Let’s throw in the multiple false start penalties and a emotionless coach who should be ripping guys for that crap. TIME FOR THE TOWELS!

He stares into space with that dumb look on his face, it almost looks like he's saying ha ha Jets fans,
I hate it when they show him emotionless, clueless, poor excuse for a HC.
He truly looks and sounds like he could not motivate anyone. And isn't it coaching to work on snap counts? WTF with all the EARLY game penalities?

He is proud of the team how they fought against a def that was missing their best player. This guy needs some fire. I was sick of looking at the shots of him on the sideline with that clueless look.

Yes waiting until the 4th quarter to throw the ball past the first down marker is bad coaching. Rushing for zero yards multiple times is due in part to not trying to go downfield.

Lack of balls in playcalling coupled with failing to challenge the Anderson drop speaks of a lack of attention to small but important detail. That's bad coaching. Also had 3 timeouts and the ball at halftime and totally pussyied out. Players are perpetually missing key details like the lateral. There's no downside to challenging the Anderson drop, and not being balls to the wall at the half is a joke. It's unacceptable.
Grant you this was not an easy assignment and the run defense without Maye has been rough. But Bowles throws the balls out there, calls plays and....that's about it. No strategic thinking at all.
Not going for points before the half showed Bowles was not as involved in the game now that he was not calling plays. He had Rodgers back and I think that may have changed how he coached. Same situation the week before when they actually went for points, what changed for yesterday’s game? Throw in 3 penalties in the first 4 plays says a lot about prep.

It’s tine for the “Fire Bowles” towels if they don’t win 2 of the next three home games.

Nice to see folks finally coming around on Macc and Bowles.
And people got suckered in after the week one mirage of luck. Bowles DID NOT have a game plan for Mayfield, who had clear lanes up the middle of the pocket. Did he not watch film of the OU VS UGA GAME from last years college playoff? He is has not fire....

Macc stays. Bowles goes. I need this guy to show something...and he ain't.
Show him the door. Once again he plays like he is afraid, no aggresssion on off. At least take a shot down field to spread the D.

Bowles sucks. Too many penalties. That’s coaching.

Their QB didn't get them there, great defense got them there. It's similar to Sanchez and the title games, no jet fan says mark got us there. He played well just as Eli did in his runs but ultimately it was the D that did the heavy lifting. The Giants have missed the playoffs 7 of 9 seasons and the one recent one they made Eli was horrible. Is great to have appreciation but Eli isn't an all time great, NYG should have moved on from him years ago.
Their loss, our gain

While their desire to ride it out with their two time Super Bowl Champion QB, def helped us get Darnold, imagine this board if the Jets were two time Super Bowl Champs in the last 10 years and they we looking to get rid of their QB who got them there for a Rookie.
-
If he is totally ready yes, if not he can sit for a while and watch from the sidelines. We don't need another Sanchez situation. Plus if Bridgewater wins the job then we have a marketable 25 year old QB that can possibly fetch some draft picks before the trade deadline. O line needs to show they can protect as I am sure Darnold will be holding the ball for a split second longer as he gets used to the speed of the game.

Bowles sucks and so does Hackenberg. Guess there is two sides to every story...

Overall a C. Too many small school picks. See how many do not make the team.

Type of pick that makes or brakes a GM. Div II pick in the 3rd round?

More like is emotionless Bowles the right coach. We all forget what a clueless moron he is in game and now he is charge of Darrnod's growth.

I’m probably one of the few Richard Neer fans. I like his style because he’s completely different than the rest of the loudmouths. I especially like him during early morning hours on weekends.
Yes, he is a decent listen on the weekend mornings.

I love night games and 4pm starts. Great tailgating games!
Enjoy your first season!
Totally agree. It’s nice to have time in the morning to get ready for the tailgate and night games always bring out a unique bunch to the tailgate.

This sums up my feelings as well. Tomorrow night determines my life from September through January.
Yes it does. And screw up family plans or works out just fine. Hope no Thanksgiving or other holiday home games.
Going to the game on Sunday just got so much more painful
