without knowing who the starting quarterback was going to be? I mean this is so Woody Johnson for you . He is such an incompetent boob, not only does he continue to keep doing the same things that don't work over and over and over again (like for instance hire head coaches with no head coaching experience before and each one of them come for the defensive side of the ball. Then when he DOES hire experience he keeps hiring people from the Dolphins organization. At least this time he was foiled by his incompetence and Bevell not being a boob, like him.

Sign Derek Carr and then see who wants to work with the team then.

Breece Hall. He literally carried Zach Wilson and MLF to wins for several games which is quite impressive.

Sean Payton should not be an option if you have to give 2 first rounders and pay 20-25 mil yearly. Let him stay an analyst.

It's said to be 1 mid to late 1st rounders and 2 3rds.

Out of the box idea, but I think it makes a lot of sense. The guy is one of the best sports executives in the world. I could see this being a fun new challenge for him.

Also it’s pretty clear Douglas and Saleh are on a PIP. It would be nice to get them some adult supervision other than Woody.

I'm thinking it may not be the Jets that you're addicted to..

Looks pretty much identical to me…

In fact his yards per game went up, as did his passer rating.

What a stunning resume... he did nothing to affect Allen's performance in several stats and Allen regressed on others.

Again, whether Brady should be OC or not has zero to do with his (lack of) impact as Allen's QB coach.

The better argument is that after being in Carolina, he spent a year seeing how a top offense functions.

    His numbers went up slightly

    (inappropriate)

The following stats are lower for Allen in the 2022 season compared to the 2020 or 2021 seasons:

    Completions

    Completion Percentage

    TDs

    Yards

    Sacks are up

Joe Brady had zero to do with Allen. He was still in Carolina.

Just to throw this out there…..wonder if McDaniel told Saleh after the game that he was out after the season is done and Saleh told him we were moving some furniture after the season so sit tight? McDaniel did a really nice job with Tua , who many thought was a dunk cost too.

McDaniel is not going anywhere. He's getting a second season.

After a year working with Josh Allen I wonder if he's ready to make the leap again. Sometimes it takes that 1st failure to learn from and get back on track. Also a good sign that Saleh isn't really married to scheme, and willing to bring in an innovative mind.

I'm not really for or against Brady at this point, but this logical fallacy that guys who work with the best QBs are the best coaches needs to go.. on top of that Allen's number dropped quite a bit (not that I think it's Brady's fault), but I just don't think 1 year working Allen has demonstratably changed his knowledge or abilities on being an OC.

I'd find more weight that their staff has like 2 or 3 former OCs (psst, Saleh/Douglas) on it.
