Everyone needs dudes.  Playmakers.  Studs.  Whatever phrase you want to use.  The best teams at every level know who they are, what they want to do and finding those dudes that fit that. In my opinion at least.

I believe the word you are looking for is "dawgs". :D

Sounds like a plan. Draft Thibs or Hutch for edge, slide JFM inside with QW and Lawson in the other side. Get a couple LB’s and a shut down CB in this draft and Let the wreckage begin!

I'm sure our existing CBs will look a lot better if we develop a decent pass rush. I'm not sure we look for a high drafted / shutdown type of guy, I'm more expecting to see some more Echols / MC2 type picks to add depth / versatility.

A team did something no team has ever done before, therefore all teams must be held to that new standard and front offices are garbage if they don't win a SB 2 years after having a top pick.

    What a joke.

According to the stuff I read on this board you'd think that 31 GMs / HCs should be sacked every year ... :D

  4. Quite frightening when you look at Brady's stats just from the post-season:

    47 games

    35-12 record

    1,165 completions

    13,049 yards

    86 TDs

Most QBs fail to get close to that in their entire careers.

We will need likely 3 tight ends. I imagine one early as you say, one later  and a FA. Other than a #1 wide receiver this is the most important thing in Saleh’s promise to Zach to lift him up.

Definitely need to add two guys and potentially keep whoever from this year (Kroft / Griffin) as #3 / depth. Griffin did OK for us, so could have a backup role in 2022.

I'm hoping for one good FA (not just a Kroft type "warm body" signing) and a draft pick in Rd 1 or 2. You need a guy that you know will be able to perform at a high level straight away, so not relying 100% on rookies would be good. A rookie can get plenty reps in 2 TE sets or give them a few series here and there to get them acclimated, but having a Schulz or similar from day one would be huge.

  6. While I can't see any scenario in which this would happen, I'd jump at it if it did.  Three mid first rounders (and the opportunities to trade down again, and / or for 2023 picks) would be far better for us than what we currently have.

  7. He would certainly close the gap ... on the All IR team.

Pass. get me someone who's going to get on / stay on the field please. With the amount of missing time our starters had last year we don't need any more rehab projects.

Geez, Brady threw for the most yards he's ever had in regular season.  Of course this was a 17 game season so 2011 is probably his best season as far as that stat.  But still an unbelievable season.

Still works out at over 5k yards if you adjust for the extra game.
