  1. So ... we should suck more than we do ... so that we get a higher draft pick ... so as not to miss out on a "generational" pass rusher ... so that we can then trade down ... so that we DO miss out on the generational pass rusher ... so that we get an additional pick elsewhere in the draft? Am I following??
  2. To be fair it probably hit the dirt 5 yards behind you.
  3. Some here seem to think that winning is only any good when you're bound for the Superbowl. You go 0-17 long enough then boom ... 17-0, playoffs, trophies and parades. Like all those great teams that did it before us.
  4. I get you, I was joining in ... the notion that the only good talent in a draft is at #1 and #2 is laughable to me. You proved this with your post. (I think I need to work on my sarcasm in the offseason. )
  5. Yeah, but were any of them considered as "generational" as the two guys we're now going to see win championships in Jax and Detroit??
  6. Because 1 and 2 in the draft are usually cemented by end Dec.
  7. Lol ... commentator just got mixed up between Zach Wilson and Kyle Wilson!
  8. According to one poster here we should use a 1st or 2nd round draft pick to replace him, and feel good about that!
  9. If we are ever using a 1st or 2nd round draft pick looking to replace our WR 4 / 5, I want the front office fired. Or worse.
  10. Just checking ... you do realize I was kidding? At least a bit? [emoji6] @The Crusher Sent from my SM-A520F using Tapatalk
  11. Careful ... one mod in particular considers that a bannable offense!
  12. Well, you did say the Jags warm up in front of him ... you could just claim you meant JAGs.
  13. Jet fans ... wearing face coverings long before it was fashionable!
  14. And we have also heard how we have to be #1 to get player X and they "miraculously" fall to us several spots later. Especially in a year that is poor for QBs, the draft order is very unpredictable, so hoping to be in a certain spot so as to draft a certain player is just too much, IMHO. There are moans of us having "meaningless wins" pretty every year, yet we still have chances to draft guys like Watson / Mahomes regardless. Play to win, and the rest will work itself out.
  15. It wouldn't be the worst outcome of it did happen. I'd rather have that than have the defense suddenly show up and we still lose because we can't score points on offense. Sent from my SM-A520F using Tapatalk
