which is why a stadium in the middle of nowhere is not as attractive as one in an urban area. My days of leaving at 9 am and getting home at 6:30pm are dwindling. Years ago I left my home in Brooklyn at noon and was in my seats for kickoff. Back home by 5 pm Started tailgating with the move to Giants Stadium and the day grew longer exponentially. Let the younger generation take over, but my sons have friends who’s parents have coaches club tickets costing something like 1200 bucks a game. Their kids didn’t want to go to game because they wanted to stay home and follow their fantasy football teams. Major League sports will have a problem in the future attracting fans Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app

Biggest Jets win in your lifetime?

Whenever my Giant fan colleagues give me crap about my Jet fandom, I not so gently remind them that unlike the Midgets the Jets are undefeated in the Super Bowl Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app -
For the record, LI folks have been complaining about the Jets moving to NJ for nearly 40 years I had season tickets at Shea and I lived in Brooklyn. When they moved to Giants Stadium I followed. Late 90s I moved to the Jersey Shore and still have my season tickets that either my kids or me. I am also an Islander fan, When the Islanders moved to Brooklyn a few years ago many LI people were butthurt because the team belongs on LI. Now they are playing most of their games at the Coliseum. Look at the attendance, they have the lowest in the NHL. Well it’s the smallest venue in the NHL they say. Well you still can’t fill it. I was there last week and if there was 8000 people in attendance it was a lot. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app

Can’t expect JD to fix a problem years in the making within six months. Macc was awful, without a doubt the worst GM in Jets history. He captured lightning in a bottle in 2015 but still fell short. The team should have been blown up back then and rebuild started. Macc kept putting bandaids on a wound that called for stitches, so he never stopped the bleeding. As a Jet fan for nearly 60 years I’m not ready to throw JD under the bus because he took a shot with a kicker. Give him a couple of drafts and FA periods before we determine he sucks too. I’m not overly optimistic,Ive seen this show before but please give JD and Gase a season or two to straighten things out. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app

Truthfully I think Belichek had much more to do with that than given credit for. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
