Exactly! You let him partake in the signing of our next HC, let him do the draft and Free Agency, then you fire him? What kind of backwards BS were they trying to pull? Let's hope Douglas is much better in building a team....at this point he cant be much worse than McCaggnan Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk -

Le'Veon Bell: "I haven't had the opportunity"
papz187 replied to Barry McCockinner's topic in New York Jets Message Board
Yeah I'm not suggesting we rely on Powell to be the top back going into next year, or even the rest of this season....just wondering why he seems to be more effective then Bell when given the chance. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk -
Le'Veon Bell: "I haven't had the opportunity"
papz187 replied to Barry McCockinner's topic in New York Jets Message Board
True....I like Bell, and our Line is trash, but can't deny Powell seems to make more of his limited touches behind the same line. Could be running style? I don't know and won't pretend to know why, but Powell has looked more effective when given the limited chances this season. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk -

Most TD catches by a Jets TE in a Season
papz187 replied to Sarge4Tide's topic in New York Jets Message Board
Yup....I remember a game early in the 2010 season in Miami (I want to say it was either a Sunday or Monday night game) where Keller had a couple TDs and he was putting on a clinic. When healthy, Keller was a problem for defenses... he did disappear for long stretches though, maybe the guy throwing him the ball played a role in that happening? Losing that Bills game and the Miami game will probably come back to bite us in the ass unfortunately. Between Sam having Mono, the line in shambles, lots of injuries and a brutal schedule to start the year we really fell behind the 8 ball. It's too bad, cause this team has shown some real potential the past few games. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Much respect to you Radierholic...you stand by your word, don't hide when your team loses, and are a true, loyal fan. Best of luck the rest of the season. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Their must be a rule Im not aware of that the Jets aren't allowed to draft pass rushers since trading Abe....this is ridiculous Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Yup, whether it's running style, poor blocking or Bell has lost a step, he hasn't been effective Powell has definitely out played him in the limited touches he's had this season. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Assemble Your All Time Jets Offense

McKnight on Kick return duties over Brad Smith, Leon Washington or Chad Morton? No way....I might even have Justin Miller over McKnight. Overall I'd take Brad Smith on KOs......guy was great despite not having the same speed as some of the others mentioned. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk -
Leonard Williams traded to the Giants
papz187 replied to extmenace's topic in New York Jets Message Board
Exactly. Sheldon Richardson was far and away a better pick and player than Leonard Williams. He made way more of an impact in the passing game the Leo, and netted a higher return when traded. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk -
Zero interest in drafting another QB
papz187 replied to Jumbo2927's topic in New York Jets Message Board
I knew in 06 it was good to solidify our line with the Brick and Mangold picks, but didnt realize how lucky we were to hit bigtime on those 2 guys until we've gone years trying to replace them without much luck.... Actually I cant even say we've genuinely tried to replace them cause not much draft capital has been spent on those positions. Douglas needs to take a page out of the Tannenbaum/Mangini playbook and really put forth the effort to build a top tier line, starting with using our high round picks on a LT, C, etc Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
