  1. Just to throw out a game not mentioned yet....Jets at Raiders Week 17 2001 Needed a win to make the playoffs, John Hall hits a 53 yard FG to win it with a minute left. Winning that game got us into the playoffs, where we had to go back to Oakland 6 days later and lost to the Raiders. Hated the Raiders back then....it was nice to win that Week 17 game against them. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/200201060rai.htm#all_pbp Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  2. Exactly! I can't believe the amount of clueless, ignorant fans that do not realize it takes a team to achieve a team goal, like winning a game. It's like they have never been part of a team before and understand this simple concept. Instead they'd rather bash our better players for not carrying the rest of the team to a win like this is the NBA or something. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  3. Meant to write this in my original post till I got side tracked responding to ignorant takes....but it's awesome to have Maye healthy and see the plays he's been making. Thanks to the OP for posting that video....the guy who broke the film down is awesome at what he does! Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  4. Who cares if Adams is animated, talks, and celebrates making plays....the guy makes plays and is clearly making an impact, that's all that matters. And for the idiots that complain he hasn't led us to the playoffs, or made the final play to close out a game until this past Sunday don't have a clue what the hell they're talking about. ITS A TEAM GAME. Other than QB (and even they are heavily reliant on teammates)no player has that huge of an impact on a teams success that they can single handedly lead a team to the playoffs.... Swap Adams with Rod Woodson, Ed Reed, Ronnie Lott, etc and guess what? Last years Jets still don't make the playoffs. So I guess they suck and aren't worth having on the team either.....ridiculous. 6. He was a tackle in college but was projected to most likely play Guard when he was drafted "Scherff has measurables and traits to play tackle in the league but might be better suited to play guard. More powerful than explosive, Scherff is not a scheme-specific talent and can maul or move in run game. Road-grader with pancake-man potential, but has holes in his pass protection that will be exposed on the next level -- especially at tackle." http://www.nfl.com/draft/2015/profiles/brandon-scherff?id=2552353 Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  7. Hell yeah....if we have Mosely and Herndon for Monday night then the Pats are gonna be in for a dog fight! Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  8. As a few have already mentioned, Richie Anderson, who was one of my favorite Jets growing up, would be an ideal FB in today's game. With his excellent pass catching skills to match his run blocking, he would be a player that you could keep on the field regardless of down and distance. I still remember that long screen pass that went for a TD in the 2003 WC playoff game vs the Colts that kicked started an ass whooping of massive proportions! Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  9. What an a$$hole....wtf else is gonna go wrong with this damn team Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  10. Thank God, couldn't watch another second of Falk at QB Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  11. I have it as well as Sunday ticket since they had a great package deal for students (think I paid like $130 total for game pass and Sunday ticket online combined for this season). It's a solid product. They have the entire game, the 45 minute version with all the in between crap cut out, just every play and that's it, or the all 22 coaches tape. What else I like is they have every game from 2009 on, so I've rewatched some of Rex's playoff games as well as when we beat the Pats in Bowles first season, the 2010 regular season win in Pittsburgh, etc. For someone in your situation I think the $100 is money well spent. 12. Yeah he was one of my favorite Jets hands down. In 09 I still remember how he gashed the Bengals in week 17, Sunday night game and the last game in the Meadowlands. It was a must win to make the playoffs and he tore them up. A few weeks later he had that deep pass to Cotchery at Indy in the AFCCG that led to a TD pass from Sanchez to Keller. The guy was great at multiple things....hell of a kick returner and special teamer too. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  13. That play hasn't worked since #16 was taking the snaps. Matter of fact, that's the only time they've worked. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  14. I hope they only play him if there is no significant risk of him rupturing his spleen or whatever it is that can happen to his spleen if hit the wrong way. With that being said, it would be awesome to see our team being lead by a starting caliber QB! ONLY if he is physically ready though. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  15. Yeah it sucks he didn't work out....could of really used a receiver with his physical abilities IF he could of caught the ball and run routes. Imagine if guys like Hill, Ducass, Milliner, Pryor, etc. worked out what a difference that would of made with this current team? Hell, even Gholston could of still been playing if he wasn't a massive bust, and it feels like he was drafted a lifetime ago. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
