I just saw Sam's press conference and I'd swear he sounded like he was coming down with something. Did anyone else notice that? I hope that wild night after the last win doesn't have a lasting impact.

Does Sam have a penchant for kissing sick chics?

He had a penchant for playing Sunday in a driving rainstorm outside in 40 degree weather and yes he is human and therefore absorbs germs, viruses, and / or infections the same as you I or anyone else including Joe Namath the womanizer who f***ed more women in the 1970's than any other living male.

Jeez already with the stupid mono

  3. Was going to give this its own thread, but instead....

Is it a coincidence or not that:

The Jets pass defense has improved markedly after the departure of Trumaine Johnson, Roberts, and the playing of Bless Austin and Maulet?

Run stopping and pass rush has improved after the departure of the "best player" in the 2015 draft?

The Jets offensive line has improved markedly after the departures of Kalil, Osemele, and Winters?

I think the results are partially this, and partially, playing bad opponents, this good play MUST continue or it is just fools gold. One thing of note, the team could have quit at 1-7 and gone home for the winter. They did not. That speaks a lot about Gase and the CS, as well as the players themselves.

In other news LOL, it looks to me like Sam Darnold is saving Adam Gases fanny. Darnold has played nearly perfect football over the last 3 weeks, and yesterday, may have played his best game as a pro thus far against a pretty good defense. His improvement is tied to improved OL play of course, but I see a marked improvement in his decision making and lack of mistakes, especially after the meeting with Gase.

Here's to hoping this continues for the rest of the way

    Mongo no care.

    This times 1000

Being 4-7 is no cause for celebration. I love this businesslike appearance the give by not going overboard climbing to 4-7, it tells me they are all business and serious about finishing 8-8 (@Bal) or miraculously 9-7.

They kicked the Raiders a$$es all over Met Life today. This was no joke. Amazing how this is coming together without stiffs T. Johnson, Kalil, and Osemele, and Winters.

Also our secondary has improved 10 fold with Poole & Bless Austin. Mac got that one right.

  5. I never doubted for a minute that Sam was special, I did, however, wonder if this CS would ruin him which obviously has been quenched lately. It is almost as if Sam has rescued Gase and Loggains.

Can't even say they played $hit teams, the Raiders were rolling coming in here...Today was really impressive.

  6. The title of this thread should be "NFL officiating is an utter disgrace". These dopes are totally incompetent as witnessed by the call on the Bilal Powell completed pass that Gruden had to review to have changed correctly. There was another play late in the first half where a Raider receiver picked the Jet defender(s) causing a completed pass that they did not call, yet they can overturn a TD without even throwing a flag.

There is way too much officiating in these games. There are way too many times they blow blatantly obvious calls in these games. There are way too many times the officiating decides outcomes of these games.

    So frustrating

All depends on how funny TomShane can be. There is a lot of pressure on him!

But for right now we have the following job openings:

BabySitter: This position entails following TomShane around on the internet and consoling him when people disagree with him. He tends to cry a lot and needs lots of "cuddle time".

Interested applicants should send a resume to: maxman@jetnation.com

What you really need mere Max is a janitor to clean up the mess that this threads like this one. The disgusting spooge of male ego and testosterone here make me want to hurl, truly disgusting and unsanitary.

Its vs the redskins for God sakes. When will this team beat a good team? A playoff team??? Case is still a bad coach and darnold throws stupid interceptions. Jamal is playing out if his mind. He still needs to be traded in the off-season. He will be a revis when contract time comes up. At least revis shut husside if tge field down abd his mouth. Jamal should play lb all the time.
