  1. More fakenews from the anti-Gase brigade... A quick study of the facts, Tannenhill spent 3 years under Gase, his first year, one of his better years, the Dolphins made the playoffs. He missed the next season to knee injury, and the following season was banged up and hurt for most of the year again. It was never Gase tried to ruin Tannenhill, it was Tannenhill was injury plagued for most of the time Gase was in Miami.
  2. Cherry picking? Uh huh... Your eyes failed you because what you say you saw, isn't what actually happened.
  3. Is that what he did in the last 8 games? Sure seems to me once Darnold came back and was able to settle in, Gase had a better understanding of what he had on this past year's team, strengths and weaknesses and made the adjustments, both in game and with the game plan. Your synopsis just isn't true. Let's not forget Gase and his staff was brand new to this team going into the season. Add the handicap of Darnold missing the first 4-5 weeks, that killed us out of the gate. A new regime needs time, players need to learn, settle in, and play with confidence. We saw exactly that in the second half of the season.
  4. Is this a bad thing? We should want the offensive minded Head Coach to run his system. Does Belichick have somebody run their system on his team?
  5. This is not realistic, and all 3 of those players are better than you are giving them credit for. I will say that I like Shell at RT, and I want a stud at LT. I'm not sure Edoga is a stud, and is probably a better player at RT. I'm also not sure if Edoga is that much better than Shell. Either way, Edoga and/or Shell at RT, we are solid. Harrison performed pretty well at C when Kalil went down and was actually an upgrade. He's young and still developing. He's improving, and has real nice size as a C. Upgrading at LT, LG and maybe at RG is more realistic. Alex Smith could fill one of the two OG spots and is a solid player.
  6. Agreed! Gase is the offensive coordinator and QB coach. The offensive assistants, Loggains, is his right hand man who assists Gase in coaching Gase’s system, and developing the QB’s. TE, RB coach and WR coaches all align to Gase. I think Ward was a great addition and I think he is developing as a solid assistant coach! The one area I would like to maybe see some movement is with OL coach! That is also an area I know Douglas will influence Gase!
  7. I can name 3: Edoga Harrison Shell LT and both G spots should be upgraded. I'd be ok with Harrison remaining as starter at C.
  8. LOL, an oldie, but goodie. Funny how all of that came full circle.
  9. Yeesh, what a bunch of crap!
  10. No, he's the same coach. It takes time to implement a new system on both sides. With the injuries this team has had, starting with losing Darnold for the first 4 games, Williamson, and then the heart of our D next to Adams in Mosley, Gase and the coaching staff were dealt a monumental blow to start the season. With a new system, players are already starting out with a handicap. We are now starting to see that system take shape, the players are more familiar with the system, thinking less, and are now executing with confidence. It takes time, and with the injuries, it took even longer. Jets fans are fickle impatient ass clowns, and didn't want to be a little patient, nor factor in the injuries we have had.
  11. Aren't we seeing exactly that the last 3 games? This roster has been wrecked with injuries, on the OL, TE, and on defense at LB and CB. The coaches ARE overcoming adversity, today doing so in grand fashion!
  12. And.... which ones? Name one... (You can't, but this is fun)
  13. Your post is stupid! He was on the PS, most PS squad development QBs in their second year aren’t ready, like any other team in the league. This isn’t a Jets thing!
  14. It wasn’t the TE it was the very raw not ready yet #3 practice squad QB throwing to him! Maybe you didn’t notice...
  15. Personal attack? I said your post was moronic! and because a coach was let go by another team means he sucks? Belichick was once fired after his first gig! And anybody complaining about Gase or any new head coach after 3 friggin games, when he hasn’t had his #1 QB healthy for a single game, and has had to play his #3 now going into his 3rd game, doesn’t make any sense!
  16. Again, moronic. Why would they put him on the field next week if it's not best for his health when they didn't do it this week? Do you even read what you write? He was close to playing, he's feeling healthy, and Gase himself said Dr's said it was close. He will be cleared next week, and we can chat about this again.
  17. Drama queens this fan base! He's out, it sucks, but he was close to playing. It's the smart move. One more week won't kill us. Losing on Sunday will. Hope for the best, move on. Suggesting season is over is beyond moronic! It's a long season, this team will make a run.
  18. He will be back next week. So this will be wrong!
  19. And who are the QB's out there worth trading for and that teams would be willing to trade?
  20. And how do you know he didn't? They both got reps, there was a chance Darnold could play, they are making a smart decision based on medical evaluation. He's most likely back next week.

Or he didn't have a really bad version of the virus, and it left his body pretty quickly. Given that he had it in week 1 he's about where he should be if he is able to come back next week.
