  1. Seriously if Belicheck was asked the same stupid question of Brady his answer would still be “we’re just trying to beat ”. That’s the answer plain and simple. We haven’t had a regime smart enough to figure that out in almost 20 years now. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  2. The answer is ******* simple-“I’m not thinking about next year, I’m just concerned with beating DEN this week” Why is that so goddamn hard? What good is talking about McCown next season? Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  3. Maybe don’t post then? Seems simple to me. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  4. Let this be a lesson, you do not give a D-Lineman that second contract. Ever. Including Leo. They rarely ever play up to it. If an opportunity to move up for a QB comes up this year and requires parting with Leo they should not hesitate at all Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  5. A little extra time in training camp was not going to overcome a career of sh*ttyness. Everyone and their mothers saw the Fitz letdown coming a mile away. It was just the easy “safe” move to make and frankly was disappointing on the part of Macc that he didn’t stand his ground. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  6. All due respect that’s a silly comparison. Week to week things change and happen in the NFL. Just because two teams that played a common team performed differently does not mean you can compare the two. NE was trounced by KC, giving up 42 points in a loss at home. Our Defense is leaky for sure, and I do put a lot of the onus on coaching for that. But you can’t possibly underestimate the effect of starting 2 rookie safeties. It’s unprecedented, and besides the fact they themselves will get burned as rookies do, they’re also calling out coverage assignments and frankly given their lack of experience I can assure you there are mistakes being made in that as well, resulting in giving up big plays. Both players need experience to get better in both categories. But to the point of the original question of Bowles answering to the big plays we’ve given up, that reason is extremely valid and likely the biggest root cause. 7. That answer is simple, we have 2 rookie safeties and very mediocre CB’s. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  8. You don’t need a top 3 pick, but you do need a top 10 QB. Period. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  9. Yeah, not to cast judgment over one game but he reminds me of Geno Smith tonight. No pocket awareness at all and looks lost reading the defense. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  10. If we need to move up to draft a QB I would package Williams in that deal in a heartbeat to save picks. I want no part of a second contract on a DT, trade him while he’s still valuable Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  11. That fumble was atrocious, no way to downplay it. This team has a rap for not closing games, yet every instance of failing to do so points to an awful turnover by our veteran piece of sh*t QB. Allowing a punt return happens once or twice a year, overcoming that is not the issue. Overcoming repeated instances where our QB turns full ritard at the end of games is far more difficult. 12. Mike Pennell Roughing the Passer

Every single game. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  13. Mike Pennell Roughing the Passer

Bad penalty but that didn’t cost the game. What cost the game was our 38 yr old QB going full ritard under pressure and fumbling instead of just taking the sack. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  14. Cousins should be the target

We have no shot at Darnold or Rosen. Maybe Mayfield but I’m not sold on him at all. The only other reasonable shot at a very good QB is Cousins. We have endured some of the most pisspoor QB play for the last 6 years now. I can’t take it anymore. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  15. Cousins should be the target

I want a ******* QB. I don’t give a sh*t what it costs, this team hasn’t had a QB in 40+ years and you fools are ticky tacking on what you’d pay a franchise QB?? 15-18m gets you just a little better than Fitz on the FA market. If they think Cousins is the guy then pay the ****in money and get him signed. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
