PK offseason Mock 2.0 (post-super bowl)

Whoever signs Bell will enjoy the right to watch him sit on their injury list every week. Guys that miss that much football never show back up in game shape. I’m just not seeing it with Bell for that kind of money. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    McVay got schooled!

Jared Goff is awful. Without McVay in his ear calling out the D he’s clueless. He has no ability to scan a field and read a defense. He’s basically Geno Smith. Great arm, suspect accuracy, 10 cent brain. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Darnold > Goff

I thought this a couple times in the regular season and definitely last night. On the field Jared Goff reminds me of a player very near to our hearts-Geno Smith. I’m dead serious. Without McCay in his ear he has zero awareness and no clue what the D is doing. Strong arm but lacks accuracy and just seems dumb as rocks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Bob Sutton is still a piece of crap

True, but if you absolutely want Brady to shred you, rush 4 and sit back in a soft zone. That’s been known a looooong time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I think you misread my post. I’m saying that he was absolutely NOT on drugs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Personally I’ve used a lot of different drugs in my lifetime. Never once did any make my eyes look like that. Conversely I did have a panic attack as a young teen having to give a presentation to the class that I wasn’t prepared for at all. My cheeks were shaking, eyes were shifty, practically had a meltdown physically and mentally. I think that’s what he was going through honestly, which concerns me a bit because an NFL HC should not be showing any type of fear. Those players will never follow him if he shows fear. That said I really hope he turns out to be the right guy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Considering Bowles looked like he might fall asleep any second, maybe the hiring criteria was to actually be awake and this guy clearly looks wide awake! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. If it nets a weapon for Sam, I’ll pay for his taxi to the airport. Macc should see if his old buddy Bowles can convince TB to send us Evans for him straight up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. This is a good hire, and a must hire to save face from the Gase blowback. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. He’s also the coach who made the incredibly bold (and correct) call to let the door hit Favre on the ass and stand firm on moving on with Rogers. While that may seem like a no brainer now, it sure as sh*t wasn’t back then. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Eric Bieniemy

So does this mean we’re sleeping with Bieniemy? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Look, there needs to be two tiers of our coaches search. One-the big fish-Harbaugh and McCarthy. Chris Johnson should be handling those interviews. Part of any offer to either is their choice of whether they want to retain Macc as the GM, 100% their decision. Two-the remaining HC pool should be interviewed and handled exclusively by Macc. They should report to Macc, not be on equal footing. This puts Macc 100% on the hook for his choice. He can’t turn around and say “hey I’m getting the players the coach wants, not my fault they suck”, which is in my opinion exactly what happened with Bowles. Adams, Lee, and Williams have Bowles stamp all over them. No chance those were the pick if we had an offensive minded coach, or even a coach who evenly values offense. The offense has al but been ignored under Bowles, and I think that’s because Bowles was on equal footing with Macc and had way too much power over the draft and personnel decisions. Guys like Harbaugh can have that kind of power, not Bowles or any 1st time coach. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. There’s nothing that says Macc won’t be fired. If Harbaugh is the candidate or maybe even McCarthy they may flat out offer to can him as part of the deal. If they can’t land the big fish then they’ll probably let Macc hire the coach and be 100% responsible for results. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    An organizational enema is needed.

Honestly, if Harbaugh or McCarthy are candidates I think they get the say of whether they want Macc here. If we end up with a young unproven then I bet they have him report to Macc directly and put Macc completely on the hook. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
