  1. Give them Leonard Williams and a 3rd. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  2. I totally did not expect him to rip his shirt off and suplex Mehta like that, how awesome was that! His 12 SB ring guarantee seemed very ambitious though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  4. So KK wouldn’t come here because the owner might fire him if he sucks? Coaches get fired all the time. This is ridiculous. Getting fired mid season is not a good look at all for a coach. It is much more respectful to him and the players to allow the coach to finish out the season even if it’s known he’s going to be replaced. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. It was a huge miss on Macc and the scouting team. You could sense the league swirling in on Mahomes and Watson. Our guys just plain didn’t rank them with anywhere near the respect they should have and decided to play it safe. Gutless. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Soundgarden and Alice In Chains were the creators of grunge with Jesus Christ Pose and Man in the Box On headbangers ball. They stuck our like a sore thumb with awesome new music in contrast to Winger and Poison and the likes. Pearl Jam was great but much more the evolution of rock and roll than grunge, and Nirvana was nothing but a childish sh*tty garage band watch an incredible drummer. Bleach was a joke. David Geffen and MTV wanted to get a hold of the scene so they took a sh*tty band with a mediocre songwriter and plugged in a major recording production and created Nevermind. 7. I get this argument. Look I like the signing and I agree he’s the best offensive players we’ve had in decades, but I’ve seen this story before and I do expect some nagging injuries before he really comes into his own. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Injury for what? Darren Lee in no way shape or form is a starting NFL LB. no team is looking at him as such. None. If they were then a team easily would have offered more for him. Luvu is straight up better than Lee. You guys are all butthurt that we didn’t get some imaginary value for him that was never offered. You act like we turned down a bunch of 5th round offers to take KC’s 6th. Darren Lee is too small to play LB in the NFL. Funny thing is this entire board called that fact when he was drafted and somehow are now thinking we should’ve gotten more for him when that fact came true. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Yeah but this sports car hasn’t been driven in a year. So when you start it up it sounds great, get it around the block, open up the throttle and right when it reaches max throttle poof, sputtering and missing as you realize it’s gonna be in and out of the shop for 4 months. Players that sit out for training camp end up with constant nagging injuries. Players that sit out a whole year.... plus we’re the Jets.... you get the picture. I’m glad Bell is here and I think in the long run it’s a good signing, but I can’t wait to see the board flip out when he’s missing games left and right. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. He’s a smart and driven guy who likes to work with people of the same mindset. I think he’s gonna be a great coach. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Pretty sure it was in Collision Low Crossers. The story was Rex and Tanny we’re sitting in an airport when they heard the news that DEN was willing to trade Tebow. Rex was pushing for the move because Tebow had recently beaten Rex’s D. Rex has a penchant for guys that beat him, ie Santonio who repeatedly torched Rex’s D’s in the past. He felt they could use Tebow in a wildcat package the way they used Brad Smith, but with more passing options as well. Tanny was reluctant at the idea, but Rex enthusiastically convinced him it would work. Tanny took it to Woody and Woody was also extremely reluctant at the idea as well because Sanchez was already embattled in the media and had just gotten a new contract. Rex again convinced Woody that he could control it and eventually Woody got onboard. Once the deal was done and the media spotlight came Woody and the PR folks saw an opportunity for sales and went overboard with the private plane, press conf, and ESPN camp visits and the circus ensued. But by all accounts it was Rex who made it happen. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. Sure I will, Lee is not a LB. no team in the NFL is looking at him as a viable option to be a starter. Why do you think KC held steadfast at a low 6th round compensation and not give up a 5th? A late 6th rounder is worth a flyer that you’re not married to. A 5th rounder is where you enter the territory of really needing that player to make the roster in some fashion. If they cut Lee it’s no real skin off their back. But Foster going down has nothing to do with Lee. No one considers him as a viable starting LB. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. He doesn’t have a position. He’s a liability as a LB, not aggressive or fast enough to play SS, and can’t cover to play FS. He was drafted as a hybrid player that Bowles created in AZ, except Lee wasn’t good enough to play that role. The bottom line is NFL teams do not like holding a roster spot up for a guy that is not a viable backup at the position. Injuries happen and roster spots are way too valuable. Lee will go the way of Hobson, Coples, Pryor, Rhodes. All guys that Jets fans either substantially overrated on the field, or stubbornly felt the player was worth more simply because he was drafted high. All this talk about how we should’ve gotten more in return, you people act like we turned down higher offers because we like KC lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
