  1. Yes I am. I want 2 WR’s, so when Elijah Moore pulls a hammy we’re moving Corey Davis into rotation instead of Vyncent friggin Smith. I want a TE that puts Uzomah on the bench to be the solid backup he should be. I want a Center that puts McGovern on the bench to be the fine backup Center that he is. I’m gonna have to gamble on Becton actually showing up, but an offense with a rotation of 2 premier rookie WR’s, a premier TE, along with Moore, Davis, and Carter should be downright unstoppable if they choose the right players. 2. This team has been drafting defense for the past 2 decades. We have constantly thrown the majority of resources towards the defensive side of the ball, and being honest up until recently it worked. We’ve employed some of the better defenses in the NFL over a good portion of time. What has that gotten us? I’ve watched this team continuously struggle to score even 20 points. Ryan Fitzpatrick was literally the only entertaining offense. It’s awful. I’m so tired of losing games 20-6 with such unwatchable football. I can’t anymore. We’ve drafted 3 QB’s in a row and give them nothing. I don’t care if we go 0-17 next year if we’re scoring 30+ a game, give this kid a friggin chance and build an offense that puts up 30 a game. You can turn a defense around in one season. You rarely get chances to have a franchise QB. I’m the biggest critic of Zach, so give him every weapon possible to prove himself. The idea of draft “Sauce” or a Safety/DT makes me vomit. Draft offense. Draft playmakers. Multiple playmakers. A defensive HC shouldn’t need high round picks at every position to field a decent D. 3. If we pass on him it’s because he’s destined to be a star and we don’t employ stars. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  4. I want just about every resource used on offense until we are fielding a juggernaut that scores 30+ points a game. We can fix the defense in one offseason. Other than edge rusher I don’t want to see a high pick used on defense. This little sh*t at QB needs all the help he can get, Idont care if we have the worst D in the league and go 0-17 losing every game 45-40. We can fix that in one year. 6. Joe Burrow has a much worse OL than we do. Even more so now that we signed Tomlinson, although losing our starting RT hurt. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  7. If he’s truly worth the 4th overall pick (he’s not) we should be picking him . Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  8. You keep wanting to point at the line, you do realize the line played substantially better when Zach was out right? You do realize it is incumbent on the QB to recognize a defense, identify the Mike, and adjust the blocking accordingly or at least know where his hot read is? You’re partially right, he absolutely should not have started but not because of the OL. He shouldn’t have started because he was completely unqualified to be a starter in the NFL. 9. Listen I don’t want Hill either and obviously he’s not an option, but this team is sorely lacking a true star, and it hasn’t had one except for 2 years of Revis. At this point I don’t have confidence in JD to draft one so I think we need to give up resources to trade for one. Id be upset about using draft picks except we’re not very good at evaluating college players. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  10. Deebo is the most productive and versatile but no way SF let’s him go. DK is a beast and is much more of a weapon than Brown, plus he won’t stand for Zach not stepping up. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  11. Yes it does! I’ve been living through this garbage for decades. Don’t stop at Idzik……. Tanny, Bradway…. It goes way beyond. And I hate to tell you but signs aren’t looking any different now. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  12. If he’s bouncing balls to Tyreek then he’s not our QB of the future and I’m not concerned about his psych at that point. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  13. Until Becton gets hurt, then what? Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  14. George Fant played at an elite level last year, and that’s not even considering the fact his QB was one of the worst in the league holding the ball. Fant openly stated that he was best at LT and wanted the opportunity to play LT when we signed him. We could have drafted Wirfs and had our OL pretty much settled for the next 5 years, yet here we are talking about drafting Ekwonu. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  15. Dude it’s been all over this board in mocks and threads begging that we draft Ekwonu it’s ridiculous. And given that the standard NFL guidelines listed 6-8 weeks for his injury I’ll take their word over Dr Jet Nut. Oh wait that’s right, Becton is such a unique and special athlete that his injuries take so much longer to heal for him. I can’t imagine how other teams like KC deal with their far less gifted athletes like Mahomes, who missed 2 weeks for basically the same injury. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  16. Build up his confidence by giving him actual good players to play with. Haven’t you ever heard the old adage that you don’t improve hanging around people that are at your level? You want a great Zach Wilson you better stop worrying about his feelings and start stacking this team with elite talent. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  17. I’m not saying give up on him, but we have zero insurance for him now since we let Moses walk. I also agree we shouldn’t be drafting his replacement. My point is we’re having this conversation because Douglas got cute and drafted a guy on potential rather than performance. Everything negative were experiencing with Becton was a red flag on him as a prospect. I get that not every player hits but a team with so many deficiencies does not have the luxury to take flyers on players who’s potential outshines their actual performance relative to their peers. Douglas had better and safer options on the board when he took Becton. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  18. And then missed the entire season for a 6-8 week injury, but because he’s such a unique and special athlete he takes so much longer, right? Of course this was after he missed 30% of his rookie season. He’s so unreliable that he lost his starting job at LT and pundits and fans are wanting us to use 4 to draft Neal and Ekwonu, but yes Jet Nut aim the unreasonable one [emoji849] Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  19. Ha I’m way too old for a Twitter account. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  20. He had a chance to start here, his competition is made of glass and is having twitter meltdowns at people calling him fat and lazy (newsflash he’s fat and lazy), and we could have (and should have) given him a longer contract. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  21. They had this in Moses already and they let him walk for pretty much peanuts. Now we’re talking about throwing more draft picks at the failed Becton experiment?? How is this remotely acceptable? Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  22. I’m with you, we absolutely should not be drafting Ekwonu or Neal. GM’s should not have a free ticket to keep throwing away draft picks at a position until they get it right. That said he should have kept Morgan Moses, because when Becton gets his next hangnail and misses multiple games again we have no answers now and yet again I’ll be seeing all the posts from everyone saying Zach needs another year to be properly evaluated [emoji849] Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  23. He is if we draft Ekwonu. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  24. Completely. So different that we’re already talking about drafting an OT in the first round to replace the failed OT he drafted 2 years ago. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  25. I’m sorry, but a GM that fails at picking players doesn’t get to keep using first round picks at the position until he gets it right. If Morgan Moses is what was the solution last year then he should still be here as insurance, not another 1st round pick. This is yet another in a long line of incompetent mishaps by Douglas that fans seem to think is perfectly fine since he’s balancing checkbooks and managing cap space so well.
