  1. I haven't really been able to watch live football on Sundays for the past 12 years. I used to go to the Jets/Pats game every year at Gillette, but since my daughter has been born, Sundays are not lazy days and I have too much family responsibilities. This is the first year were I don't even watch the games on rewind - I had high hopes with Zack and Saleh, but even playing against a crappy team, we were embarrassed - autumn is beautiful here in New England and I don't need to watch these jokers any more - unfortunately, I can't avoid the constant clucking from the team, fans, and media here.
  2. Of course the Lions haven't won a game yet, but I get your point.
  3. The way the corners are playing well, maybe a pass rusher/OLB or another offensive weapon like WR or TE - assuming the draft unfolds correctly. Then a RG and another offensive weapon.
  4. we have two picks in or close to the top 10; if we are high enough up to grab a QB, we trade down to accumulate multiple picks - this team needs help. We should draft a center in the first (if good one is available) and a pass rusher/OLB or a WR. In the second we should draft a RG and another offensive weapon like TE. We also clearly need another ILB. Gather as many picks as possible - there are more holes than in a sponge.
  5. Chicago is getting a Pats over Jets type of beating. Down by 33 points and only scoring 3 in the first half. If the Bucks HC is as big of a scumbag as BB, they will win this by 50+ points in then end. Fumbles, Ints, etc. He might as well be wearing green and white.
  6. Now I would watch a game if Woody or Chris had to run around back there behind that line with LaPuke calling the plays - def. worth the price of a ticket. Just what the commish wanted...
  7. I don't think it was about the money. I think it was about the season. This season was about getting Zack and the other youngsters experience and to lean and figure out where the holes are (news flash they are everywhere). It was never about the wins - which is fortunate as we aren't going to have many. The point about having someone solid in there to help the rest of the team learn and grow is valid. Of course, I doubt anyone - even Elway, Brady or Peyton in their primes could win with this team. LOL - just thought of a similar quote, 'nobody could win with this team' - time to send
  8. Tampa giving the Bears a Jets type whipping in the first half 28 to 3; not sure why that is a positive, but hey - its been a long day.
  9. Morgan may be the smartest QB around; of course, he would be backing up White next week, so... well Carolina probably a better team, so yeah - he was smart.
  10. You think that is impressive, we have fans on this board who can diagnose the injury watching the video without any medical background - now that is good.
  11. To be. fair, I remember year after year on this board people say - throw it deep - you have a good chance to get either a PI or big play. In theory, maybe not today, if they don't PI, we get the big play so it isn't a gift - it is smart - beat the WR, throw the pass, either get a big play or a PI. Not arguing with the swiss cheese comment; more like bj's special knockoff swiss cheese.
  12. Positive: we are going to get a top 5 pick and maybe a second top 10 pick. I am positive we get a top 5 draft pick - there are only 4 games we even have a shot of winning - i can see us winning maybe one more game this year. Hopefully we can trade out of the top 5 (and maybe top 10) we need a lot of players. Center in first round and either a pass rusher or WR or TE. RG and whatever in the 2nd. Hopefully pick up some extra picks this year and next. Clearly we need bigger ILB when Mosely is out. I hope the Center and RG are those bad sports angry players. The Jets need some fire.
  13. I will leave that up to you. Lookup away. Everyone else is complaining about the hit but hey... you win.
  14. Positive - Mosley proved the value of his big contract; Jets cant stop a nose bleed without him.
  15. You may not dive at the Legs of the QB in or out of the pocket unless he is running. If he is standing there throwing the ball you may not do it. I guarantee if that was Brady there would have been a flag - not sure why that is so hard to understand.
  16. Woody is never selling this team. This team is Never moving (he is still paying for the Stadium). Yes, the team is what happens when there is little to no talent and whatever talent is there is extremely young and inexperienced. This is why we don't have a reasonable back up QB. Winning was not going to happen this year. This team is terrible. Anyone who thought that they were going to win more than 4 games was just fooling themselves. This, sadly, was the plan - it is a complete and total reboot. yes, next year should be much better, but they are not likely going to bring in many FA - ot
  17. NOPE. You don't know me. You don't get me. I hate participation trophies - but I believe in some basic semblance of class and sportsmanship. BB is a cheat, liar, baby and a bully; you okay with it - enjoy ...
  18. yep - while the Jets deserve to be embarrassed some standards should apply. It is not about the Jets, its about what a Jack-off BB is :-). I would be equally irate had he done that to another team; of course I hate the F'n team and BB.
  19. And... because the Pats hold and the Refs protect him. How many roughing the passer calls have we seen thrown against the Jets for barely touching a QB. The Brady rule (ironically) makes it illegal to hit the QB low. But hey, if you don't have a good game plan, the QB is on his own? Had Zack thrown the ball away, he still would have been hit late and everyone would be jumping up and down about how you have to take the hit.
  20. was it more flagrantly illegal? rules - can't dive at QBs legs; can't hit QB late ... its not about viscous, it is about the rules - put it this way, if a Jet did that to Brady or Mac Jones, would their have been a flag? You better believe it.
  21. Why shouldn't he? Because it is just being a poor sport and bully. For the same reason we mock Jets D for making a fuss when the make a good play when the team is getting killed. Maybe, even though he doesn't have any, he should show just a bit of class. While I get the anger over the bad team, I don't get why anyone would want their team kicked while they are down. I also don't get the giddy attitude of running up the score - in the end, we are still going to have Saleh next year, and Woody is never selling the team, so...
  22. No team quits on offense when they are getting creamed; decent teams on a 30+ point lead don't throw bombs, they run the ball.
  23. Yep - the Jets suck - BB sucks on every level of being a human being. I bet if some team did this to the pats, all the commentators would be crying about how it is un-sportsman like - no question the Jets are bad.
