Very true - but looking at Rhule for example, that wasn’t even remotely close to under the radar. Same with Kliff
That was pre covid-19 when interview was in person. On Zoom it can be kept quiet until things get serious

Remember when Bob Knight stuffed this guy in a locker?
It's a shame they did not
Lock it so he couldn't get out

I wish the Jets would call it a quit for the rest of the season.
They did, back in September

Because Trevor Lawrence is too good to pass up & we get him for a 5 year rookie contract with enough draft & free agent cap dollars to fix the Oline & surround him with a couple more top notch playmakers.
It will be apples to oranges what Trevor Lawrence gets to start out with & grow with, with 9 or more picks next year, than what Sam Darnold played with his 1st three years here.
not arguing for or against keeping him, just asking if it can be done in SF why can't it be done here?

Why would he be gullible? There are still Jet fans saying draft Trevor & keep Sam. And others saying trade the pick & surround him with a great Oline & weapons. No way in hell the 49ers start a rookie QB in 2021, they are way too good healthy. Sam was broken here, someone like Kyle Shanahan will figure out what Sam likes, play to his strengths & help him regain his confidence. And Samuel, Aiyuk, Kittle, Mostert are playmakers. And they have a solid Oline & running game. These are 4 things he never had here, great offensive coach, good Oline, solid weapons across the board & a good running game scheme.
if that can be done in SF, whats to say with a new HC Oc hired in Jan it can't be done here. It would allow for a trade down and a bowl full of draft picks to help him. not saying that should be done, but it's another angle. just a thought

Just love that the Jets have ruined another QB’s shoulder
Are you saying that we need QB's without shoulder? LOL

Yes, this is my worry game. Bill B mails it in and Gase says he’s a genius because he beat the Pats.
BB will not mail it in on Monday Night Football
. He may mail it in the last game

I would like the number 1 pick but it also would be acceptable for Darold to become a franchise QB.
How about both

What was the excuse when Bates was OC?
No excuses other than being a rookie limited experience. Let's let it go at that & not hijack the thread. My reply was kind of tongue in cheek
no

In 4 career starts to date, Justin Herbert has two 300+ yard games and two 3+ TD games.
In 30 career starts to date, Sam Darnold has four 300+ yard games and three 3+ TD games.
The Chargers are a bad team (1-4).
So what gives?
He doesn't have Adam Gase having him throw 3 Yard passes behind the line of scrimmage

Peyton was and still is the greatest prospect to ever come out. The only people that didn’t believe he’d be a FQB were either Leaf guys or anti Tenn (he can’t win the big one blah blah blah). From a physical, mechanical and cerebral standpoint, no one has ever been more of a “perfect” prospect.
Your need to add Parsels(sp) to that list otherwise Manning would have been a Jet

Is that lowest SOS to date or projected lowest SOS, factoring in our remaining opponents? Because if they're trying to argue the latter, that's just going to be false. We have the following remaining teams on our schedule:
- Cardinals (2-2)
- Chargers (1-3)
- Bills (4-0)
- Chiefs (4-0)
- Patriots (2-2)
- Dolphins (1-3)
- Dolphins (1-3)
- Raiders (2-2)
- Seahawks (4-0)
- Rams (3-1)
- Browns (3-1)
- Patriots (2-2)
Combined record: 29-19 (.604)
There's 0 chance we finish up the season with one of the easier SOS's. It's going to be one of the top 10/top 5 toughest schedules by SOS, and we'll likely lose any tiebreaker scenario.
Compare ours to the Giants' full schedule:
- Steelers (3-0)
- Bears (3-1)
- 49ers (2-2)
- Rams (3-1)
- Cowboys (1-3)
- Washington (1-3)
- Eagles (1-2-1)
- Buccaneers (3-1)
- Washington (1-3)
- Eagles (1-2-1)
- Bengals (1-2-1)
- Seahawks (4-0)
- Cardinals (2-2)
- Browns (3-1)
- Ravens (3-1)
- Cowboys (1-3)
Total record: 33-30 (.524).
Not even close.
