  1. That's odd timing, must be more to the story
  2. Who will start at QB in regular season game 1 for Gang Green?
  3. Odds only valid if the Jets stay at #20. For entertainment purposes only, please no wagering.... Leonard Floyd LB UGA 4-1 Noah Spence LB EKU 5-1 Emmanuel Ogbah LB OK St 10-1 Kamalei Correa LB Boise St 10-1 Taylor Decker OT Ohio St 12-1 Jack Conklin OL Mich St 20-1 Mackensie Alexander CB Clemson 25-1 LaQuan Treadwell WR Miss 32-1 Paxton Lynch QB Memphis 35-1 Cody Whitehair G Kansas St 38-1 Reggie Ragland LB Alabama 40-1 Darron Lee LB Ohio St 44-1 Andrew Billings DT Baylor 50-1 FIELD 60-1
  4. Pot is legal in Colorado, which helps to explain this trade
  5. If Fitz walks, they have to bring in a vet and let him, Geno and Petty fight it out, probably wait until after the draft to see if we can get a good QB at 20
  6. He might be able to sneak in there and take one of the last roster spots, he can block and play special teams
  7. Punt returner is another thing we need to address
  8. Obviously, the big thing is to either re-sign Fitz or find a serviceable veteran QB. After that, find a decent DT, look for an ILB, either a returning player or a FA, and maybe a solid offensive lineman In the draft, gotta get a Pass Rusher and an OT in the 1st 2 rounds (or a QB if it breaks that way for us)
  9. Great news...HAS to take RB off the table at 20. I know you don't draft based on short term need, but we can get a RB in the 3rd or 4th if a good one is there
  10. I'd be very surprised if Cook went in the 1st round and even more surprised if he went #20, but, I learned never to say never when it comes to the Jets and the draft
  11. If we re-sign Powell, it would make it real hard to spend a 1st round pick on a RB. Maybe as high as a 2nd, but even then it might be too high

  13. He showed some potential last year, worth keeping around to see if he can continue to develop
  14. I liked Ivory and he played hard for us, but there is no way we were going to pay him that kind of money. But, I appreciate his efforts on behalf of the team and wish him well.
  15. Who was the best veteran free agent the Jets ever signed? Based soley on their productivity with the Jets? Revis is probably #1, who is #2....Alan Faneca...Bart Scott?
  16. That's sort of an outside the box mock draft, but I'd take it and be happy. I really like Perkins in the 3rd round but think Shell is a reach in the 5th
  17. I like everyone on that list except Lee. I don't think Lee is an edge rusher - I like him as an all around sort of guy who is fast and can help in a variety of ways, but not an edge rusher. I think / hope someone takes him before we get a chance

  19. I'm not ready to give up on either Amaro or Smith. I might be a little higher on Amaro based on what I've seen, but Smith has potential too IMHO
  20. He is assuming we lose Snacks to FA. I like Reed, but I doubt we would take a DT in RD 1 even if we lost Snacks. Maybe 2nd or 3rd round, but not 1st.
  21. Good move....it's just bidness, nothing personal
