  1. One thing to remember is that Lewis is a good player but fragile, he will last 4. - 6 maybe 8 games, at that point you probably see two rookies starting.
  2. Barkley went number 2. in the league for a reason, and Derrick Henry was MVP of some very recent and impressive playoff victories, and Lamar Jackson is a RB who can also throw the football, and a TE for the Patriots dominated the league in a way we probably haven't seen a tight end dominate before, Wille Parker completely dominated a post season not all that long ago. You don't need high priced RBs or draft them high, they just need to dominate. Marshawn Lynch was the reason for the season in Seattle, no one else.
  3. Are you talking value as in money or to a team on the field ? I can name instances where a RB was MVP for a team throughout post season and MVP winning the Super Bowl more than one. - kinda like Bavaro winning a SB MVP and becoming a legend, low value legend ? lol
  4. Impact is determined by performance on the field, not position, again you are buying into a myth, the weakest link theory proves it.
  5. Jets organizational structure was set up as a 50 / 50, I think Douglas made sure he got 100%. That said, most GM's missed it on Mahomes, Bills actually traded the pick to the Chiefs, Mahomes talent was obvious to the chiefs coach and that is why they traded up for him.
  6. great version of a great song, Marley was played on NY radio all the time, his is another voice we could really use in this time, like Lennon, Ali, moving the world forward.
  7. Sure hope not, but it doesn't look good, its not like a knee which legitimately could take two years to heal, if a groin is not healed in a year, it just doesn't look good, see Arian Foster.
  8. Bowles and Rex had a lot to do with those picks, if Bowles wanted Mahomes, Mac would have taken him.
  9. Career ending injuries will do that to you.
  10. Mosley is solid, if his groin recovers he will be back next year, if not he will retire, unlikely he plays another down at full strength for the NY Jets or anyone else, but it could happen and would great for the franchise, we saw how good he was for 3 quarters. If does retire we paid him a lot for those 3 quarters, but you can't fault Mosley.
  11. Hire a personal trainer / nutritionist and add a lot of really good things to your diet, no soda, or diet soda, once you stop drinking soda, you realize how bad it made you feel.
  12. I saw a movie like that where they took blood from a guy because there was no more water on earth and could conver blood to water, in the movie the guy died instantly, hopefully Jenkins has not seen this movie.
  13. Manish is the reason I don't pay $1.50 a month for the Daily News, life is better without Manish.
  14. Thats a good point, a true professional would want to be in the new facility for a crash course on the new defense, and appreciate that he is making what like 12m for two years work in Seattle, he's starting to sound like a diva wr and is now one step away from being a distraction, a problem that will significantly deflate his value and rep.
  15. He agreed to play out his contract without an extension, that was a condition of the trade.
  16. MC D is quite a bit better than Jamal in coverage, and he had a sack and two tackles for loss in a playoff game, Jamal saves his big plays for the scrub reel - at 29 we could get a couple or 3 years from this guy, he's a true leader. I love this guy already, GW WILL TOO !
  17. Gase is so wonderful he seems to have almost universal support among Jet fans, all those championships he's added what 4 Lombardi's to the collection, top offense every year, he's on the same level as Walsh, makes Holgrem look like an idiot.
  18. At least Gase said at his exit meeting with Bell that he would. view Bell's Pittsburg tape to see howhe might able to incorporate some of that stuff next season, you can't make this stuff up. Maybe if the Jets paid Gase another several mil he would have reviewed Bells Pittsburg Highligts before last season, not sure how anyone can defend this, but I very much look forward to any responses.
  19. I thought he would be a total self centered A hole, but he's a great teammate and a lot of fun, his coaches and teammates loved him in Pittsburg, the steelers tried to acquire him at the trade deadline last year and he would have been traded if not for the dead money in his contract, foolish Gase mis used him last year.
  20. Gonna be almost weird having a good O line, assuming it will be.
  21. It was great when the dirt infield was still there, as a mets fan so many memories on that infield, used to get on the field with a few seconds left on the clock always a lot of fun sprinting on an NFL field as the players wait for the game to end, got into the Jets huddle as they were standing waiting for the game to end, my father told me that fans exited Ebbets field by walking out on the field through outfield exits, back then you could interact with players on the field after the game, said Dimaggio stepped on his foot after a game.
  22. It would be interesting to see what other stadiums have, Im sure they all have a police office and holding tank, I used to go on the field at Shea after games, the rule was if you make it on the field they let it go and you hang out on the field and go wherever you want for as long as you want, but if they catch you before you go on the field, you got arrested.
