He hasn't become Mo Wilkerson, Sheldon Richardson, Snacks Harrison or even Henry Anderson for that matter either,  What is pathetic is the total lack of energy, grit and passion that he brings  to the game on a consistent basis.  What also is pathetic is the way he stands around the pile after a play and celebrates like he just accomplished something, He is a soft, unmotivated underachiever who hasn't amounted to  a hill of beans, yet we continue to make excuses for him based on his draft position and one half of  a productive rookie season.  Sorry;  Also Devin Smith had more than one injured camp to prove his worth and never did.  Couldn't run a route or catch a pass, shied away from contact and was a bust if there ever was one,  so stop the pity party for someone who stole his paycheck for the two plus years that the Jets carried him on the roster

Leonard Williams is a prime example of a player who is placed in a losing culture and becomes accustomed to losing. Maybe a new coach can salvage him or maybe he needs a change of scenery. We'll find out next year.

Devin Smith was hurt his entire time with the Jets so I don't understand how he "stole his paycheck", unless you wanted him to play on crutches. I don't think his plan was to get drafted, injure his ribs, blow out his knee twice and go on IR.

When our guy tells a cop he's gonna defile his wife, cool cool. But God forbid we give an "outsider" a second chance. the easiest way to spot a terrible argument is by its internal inconsistencies.

There's a big difference between mouthing off to a cop and beating a woman. Mouthing off to a cop gets you arrested and beating a woman does not.

Your equating mouthing off to a beat down. as I said, big difference.

  3. I don't understand posters who want an offensive-minded coach who understands the direction in which the NFL is headed but who also think hiring Harbaugh is the greatest thing since ice cream. The game is passing coaches like Harbaugh by - and Baltimore is smart enough to see this.

Who he brings in as OC doesn't matter, he is what he is.

Apples to Oranges. He's making millions and just passed on making almost a million a game. You're talking about a regular working Joe.

What's a regular working Joe? He goes to work and earns a salary just like every other working Joe. Granted, it's probably more than you or I make but that's irrelevant. He's entitled to maximize his income.

The Jets record suggest they're a 3 win team after 10 games. Their record suggest Mike Mayock could have drafted better than Mike Maccagnan. The Jets roster is one of the least talented in the NFL. That falls on Mac. If Mac drafted better we would not be this bad. Make Todd Bowles the head coach of the Chiefs in 2018. I bet you the Chiefs don't have a 3-7 record. Trust  me I am no Todd Bowles defender, but the man most accountable for the Jets being bad is Mike Maccagnan, yet he's getting a free pass because he got a scratch off lucky when Sam Darnold FELL into his lap.

If Bowles were coaching the Chief's they would be 5 and 5 and Mahomes would lead the league in interceptions.

You’re a blithering idiot. Out of ALL of the problems with the team, this is the one you single out as being detrimental? Did you know that we are under the cap and that signing McCown did not prevent us from signing another player? Of course you didn’t.

    Spot on.

Uh here we go.  I guess this hedging nonsense is the best you can do after defending this retard for several years

Not defending Mac but when Gettleman was fired by Carolina there were posters who wanted him brought in. Would you rather have Mac or Gettleman?

Some posters also advocating bringing in Jerry Reese, Jerry Reese!

Other posters have advocating Reggie Mackenzie when only 11 of his 50 draft picks from 2012 to 2017 remain on the roster.

I have no faith in J&J picking a GM or HC but it's a crap shoot.

In the craze to fire Bowles, I feel like Mac is being given a pass here.  Can we discuss how it’s possible for a team where almost all the FA money, draft picks and brain trust is placed on one side of the ball can possibly allow a jag qb on one of the most historically inept teams to put up a clinic?

Three+ years of this nonsense and our D looks like a pale shadow of what Rex Ryan was putting up, even in his down years.

    Inept coaching?
