Maybe we can hire an assistant clock management coach or something like Herm did. That was something I was incredibly proud of as a Jets fan.

You were proud because our inept head coach couldn't do what he was paid to do?

Guy had 35 tackles as a DT in limited playing time last year and gives it his all on every play. If all you notice is the bad penalties he took I’m not sure what else to say. He does need to ge more disciplined but he’s definitely an asset to the DL.

He's been in the league for 5 years, I doubt he's suddenly going to become more disciplined.

In today's world Ken O'Brien would be earning $25M per, not being run out of town after a few years.

There is no love for any Jet quarterback except Namath. O'Brien was not a JAG and yes, he would be making $25M per.

Ummmm as they say the truth is stranger than fiction. Unfortunately Times Square is long dead and gone. It’s now a cheap, LCD version of Tokyo's Shibuya Crossing.  Thanks Disney.  Good ole Times Square...the pimps, the hookers, the discos, the drugs, the liquor stores, the porno and Kung fu movies, the night life. Those were the days. When tourists were terrified of walking through and rightfully so. They’re turning NY into LA. This city has lost its character, it’s pulse.  Bombarded and gentrified by hipsters from every state west of Pennsylvania. It’s rare you meet anyone anymore who actually GREW up here anymore. Yet they think they’re from here. ****n imposters. I mean they even had the audacity to move the Giants and our Jets to ******* swampland NJ. It’s just sacrilegious.

Nothing said New York like the old Times Square. It had a soul,  maybe covered in sin, but a soul nonetheless.

Don't confuse your lowly experiences in NYC, getting manhandled by Steelers fans (allegedly), with those of rich celebrities. Of all things to crap on NYC, you crap on the restaurants? Nobody goes to Applebees in Times Square except midwest tourist families relieved to find something familiar-looking.

Sh*t, nobody goes to Times Square outright except tourists, unless you're seeing a show or are passing through it because some cabbie decides to take you that way after you told him 3 times to not go through ****ing Times Square on a Friday or Saturday night because it can take 5-15 minutes to drive almost every ****ing block, so you're late and then your girlfriend who's already been there for 45 minutes because she lives 2 blocks away and that's why she picked this bar again in the first place, rags at you as you take your coat off about how you're always late and how supposedly embarrassed she is in front of her 3 stupid c*nt friends who can't get non-abusive men themselves, so for 3 months they've each been nonstop whispering in her ear what a sh*t you are and how she could totally do better even though everyone knows there's no way, so then they pile on as well so you tell those fatass sows to butt out, then it escalates to the point the bouncer feels he has to step in and instantly takes her side because now it's 1 cute angry girl and her 3 c*nt friends yelling at one guy and to make it look like he's a good guy rescuing them in hopes one of them blows him in the mens room, he and 2 other of his goon buddies grab you and throw you out in the cold before you can even grab your coat, and not only doesn't she step in to say that it's ok you're her boyfriend, she doesn't even come out to bring your coat to you and won't pick up her goddamn cell, so you're standing outside for a good 10 minutes in the cold and wind and sleet before you finally come to the realization that this bitch is seriously going to let you freeze out there, so now you have to find a cab to take you home fast so you don't freaking die, and he takes you back uptown through ****ing Times Square.

But did you kiss and make up?

Enjoy your railyard and subsidized junkies and hookers instead, no skin off my back mate.

I actually worked in that area back around 1987 and had a very nice view of the yards from my office. Occasionally I had lunch in a Micky D's at the same time as some of the hookers. Never bothered me mate but of course I grew up in Brooklyn when it was Brooklyn.

Building a stadium there would not have solved the issue of the junkies and hookers, instead it would have just moved them somewhere else.

Because New Yorker politicians are cheap ass sh*tters who, despite being the biggest city in the world, are too cheap and cravenly political to help pay for a Stadium for their resident Sports Franchises.

Which is why we have the New Jersey Jets and New Jersey Giants.

    Why should taxpayers subside billionaires?

What have you seen from him that makes yo make such a BOLD statement? Hackenberg can't get playing time over Bryce Petty who has stuck it up so bad I am still delousing my living room from the stench. Hackenberg is the biggest Jets draft bust since Vernon Gholston and Blair Thomas. Worse even, because they at least got to play some.

Seriously, you rate the second round Hackenberg pick on a par with Blair Thomas and Vernon Gholston?

so they ignore a team that was expected to be a contender in the AFC and won 5 games a year ago?

I don't believe for a second he is respected for his HC ability around the league.  as a man, as a defensive coach? maybe but as a HC?  There's just no one that has watched this team that can think he's a good HC after 3 seasons.  He has been the worst HC we have had since Rich Kotite and it's not even close.  As long as I have been watching this team I think outside of Kotite he has been the worst.  Worse than Coslet, Carroll(who never had a chance), Walton, Groh, Mangini.

    But not worse than Herm?
