Bears have the # 3 passing defense. they could stymie Zach like Denver and GB did.

The Tennessee school for the blind could stymie Zach.  It's a ground and pound offense.   Their defense will not factor in on his "skillset".  We will play it tight against them.  I foresee a 15-12 game against them.

6-3 w/ the easy part of the schedule coming up.  The playoffs are a lock and a division crown is well within reach.

Thank you Joe Douglas!  Thank you!!

Things I expect during the bye:

*Get healthy- Fant, Mitchell, CD84 etc.

*Zach relaxed, reboots and comes out confident for the stretch run

*James Robinson gets a full grasp of the playbook

*Mimsy role expanding.  Would like to see sets w/ Mimsy and Davis on the outside w/ garrett in the slot

*I see Elijah Moore being a healthy scratch moving forward unless someone gets hurt.

This post is as legit as the Powerball drawing last night er..... this morning.

Back in free agency, I was vocal in the following:

If 2nd day draft picks grossly outplay their rookie deals, I have zero issue when they hold out for a long term deal worth their actual value.

That being said, Elijah Moore saw Deebo, DK, Terry McLaurin, Deonte Johnson and AJ Brown hold out form more lucrative deals this summer after stellar starts.

Its my belief that E Moore would have absolutely held out next offseason should he have eclipsed 1,000 yds receiving. Now that the development of chemistry with ZW is not up to the speed he would like it to be, he thusly asks for a trade.

He has 2.5 years left on his rookie deal with Zach, why the sudden urgency? Because he FOR SURE planned on demanding a lucrative extension just like his buddies.

Edit: Per Learning if CBA rules below, (thank you) it seems he couldn’t hold out until after year 3. Still think his plan was to use his first two year’s output as leverage.

So glad you opened the door to conspiracy theory.

My conspiracy theory is as follows:

The team knows Zach hasn't got a clue, and that knowledge is the focal point for the rest of the team.

The defense and special teams know they have to give 130% to make up for Junior.

I'm afraid if he starts playing like a card carrying NFL QB, then they let up on the overcompensating.

So here is to Zach playing like, well, Zach.  He is a catalyst because they know a deer in headlights has a better survival rate on an interstate highway than Zach has on an NFL field.

So please, Zach, keep doing the bare minimum.  The team is jelling because of your vulnerability.

Of course WR's take a hit, but you can't make an omelet without cracking some eggs.

Yes, I guess they were throwing dice talking sh*t and a verbal fight over who could beat the other 1 on 1 in basketball ensued and the guy came back and shot the place up because he was offended.  ******* senseless.

I saw where Deion Sanders made his team stay in their hotel while in Houston after it happened

Meh, kind of corny.  A better dig would have been something like:

The 2022 NY Jets have won more games than Brady Quinn did in his short but sweet NFL career where he went 4-16 as a starter.
