  1. I wouldn't want to waste all of Woody's well earned money when he has no shot at competing. He is such a great guy. Trust me, I know, I had a PSL. He let me shake his hand in his clubhouse before a game.
  2. I'd rather spend the next 5 years hunting for a QB through the draft than keep plugging in free agents. Only 5 teams have won the SB on the road as wild-cards in the playoffs, 4 of which had franchise QBs. Unless you're watching a different Tom Brady and co then I am, we have no shot to win the division this decade.
  3. Let's not get too excited. It's one year. I wouldn't, or should anyone, be surprised to see Woody hit the panic button next off-season. I agree though, it is the right step, but it's the next step that counts.
  4. I guess we get to do both at once all season. Can't wait for this year's memories. I may have to go food shopping more often this year. "Paper or Plastic sir?" "I'm a Jets fan. Either will do"
  5. Congrats on the graduation from an FDU alum. I had Zygi Wilf speak at our graduation.
  6. I guess you never watched the Karate Kid
  7. There wasn't much to cheer for last season. If they put a good product on the field, people will come.
  8. Didn't make my payment either. I haven't heard from the Jets ticket office, guess they don't plan on wasting their time with me. Completely agree on saving money the next few years. Metlife is going to be one sorry place to be next year if they start 0-2 and lose to the dolphins in the season home opener. Hoping Hack is the truth and shows a hint of promise. If not, may god have mercy on the Jets and the season ticket holders next season.
  9. Hopefully we open the season with a bye
  10. If he wants to be a starter, what makes you think he wants to be stuck as a "mentor" to the other QBs? If he is such a great backup, why not sign behind an unstable/injury-prone QB as their backup. He legit has no shot at starting a game once those 2 get in the mix. Doesn't sound like a great path to being a starter, which he clearly wants to be.
  11. I officially have more posts than Colin has wins. My work here is done
  12. http://www.espn.co.uk/nfl/story/_/id/18412873/nfl-tv-viewership-drops-average-8-percent-season "Prior to the Nov. 8 election, NFL games -- through the first nine weeks -- were down 14 percent compared to 2015. But the next eight weeks saw a recovery, as Weeks 10-17 were down only 1 percent in viewers compared to last season."
  13. Where is your 2%. I want answers.

  15. Please name ONE GAME that you refused to watch this year that was in Prime time due to someone protesting. Please. I guarantee you watched the Opening game, as did the rest of America. No one turned it off when Brandon marshall knelt. In fact, they cheered when he got hurt.
  16. I never said it wasn't down. I have listed plenty of other reasons why viewership wasn't down, not related to protests and presidential elections. Feel free to take a look at my various posts and/or take a read through the credible sources I provided, unlike other people throwing out %s and #s for the sake of it.
  17. Where do you get these percentages?
  18. Can you please provide evidence of this 2% and 70million? I have yet to meet someone who stopped watching because of the protests. I'd prefer you can support this without your made up %s that you keep throwing around. I no doubt agree that he caused a small drop of viewership, but to say it affected the whole league for an entire season is ludicrous. I also agree that no owner should give him a job, I certainly wouldn't. Who needs the headache with similar bums of his talent level currently on the market.
  19. The 49ers were 2-14. Why in the world would someone watch them if you are a non fan?!?! I'll tell you why, and it doesn't have to do with someone kneeling.
  20. No, it's going over your head. Why would Colin affect a Green Bay vs Minnesota game on Sunday night? Are you telling me because some clown in SF on a 2-14 team knelt caused significant viewership to decline for a Sunday night Dallas vs Giants game. Patriots had players protesting, how come the Superbowl viewership didn't drop 30%?
  21. I'm not denying (or agreeing with what he did) that viewership may have had a decline because of him. But to say 30% of the viewership was the cause of Colin Kapernick is absurd. There were so many other factors involved (Presidential election, bad calls, constant ads and commercials).
  22. The only reason no one is tuning in to watch the 49ers is because of their lack of talent. If they were 16-0, I can guarantee they would break viewership records in the playoffs. With or without some kneeling idiot.
  23. No, because people come to see ONLY Drake. No one goes to an NFL game to watch 1 player, particularity a QB that just went 2-14.
