I’m not at all concerned about the regular season. Of course nothing is guaranteed but let’s get everybody back healthy and not rushed because we have the depth to survive. It’s a long season and the goal is a World Series championship.

It is and we’re guaranteed both Paxton and German back by mid July which gives us the best rotation in baseball

Agreed.....would think they want it to be a vet, a guy who won't be thrown off by the erratic schedule that that role entails.

They’re unfortunately gonna try Happ again which I think is a mistake.  Not only because he sucked as a starter last year but he was effective as a reliever out of the pen and can be a guy who gives you 2-3 innings as a long reliever

I’d much rather see then give someone from the minors a shot

Choon has always hated Robby. If he had 2000 yds receiving, he's say they were all yards in garbage time.

You guys act like Robby was Keyshawn Johnson here.  He’s never even had a 1,000 yard season and hasn’t even cracked 800 yards last 2 seasons

if this wasn’t a totally stacked draft class at WR I would agree with you guys we need to give Robby $70 mil

Could this be a rumor started by the Lions so that Miami feels like they NEED to trade up for Tua? We're going to hear so many rumors and speculation flying around in the next couple of months it will make your head spin. Take it with a grain of salt.

I’m pretty sure there’s truth to it.  Stafford is done.

No. You still take a LT in Rd. 1 if one of the top 4 are there. I have zero faith in Edoga starting so having an elite prospect OT competing with him for the RT spot OR possibly Beachum moving to the right side while the rookie starts at LT is desperately needed.

I will also say that with Harrison on the roster on a cheap deal I don't think the Jets are that desperate at the C position that they need to reach for one in Rd. 2. Unless one of the top 2 C prospects SLIDES to Rd. 2 I'm not taking a C. There should be a better CB or Edge or WR prospect in Rd. 2.

Depends on whether one of the top 3 fall

    There’s a significant dropoff

Report: Raiders prepared to offer Tom Brady two-year, $60 million deal

We have an actual dollar figure attached to the swirling rumors of various Tom Brady free agency landing spots.

The Brady-to-Las Vegas speculation has been out there since TB12 was spotted chatting up Raiders owner Marc Davis at the Connor McGregor-Cowboy Cerrone fight in Vegas last month. Now, veteran NFL reporter Larry Fitzgerald Sr. (father of the Arizona Cardinals wide receiver) reports that Davis' Raiders are prepared to offer TB12 a two-year, $60 million deal.

I’m told 🏈Las Vegas is prepared to offer @TomBrady $60 million over 2 years.

    — Larry Fitzgerald Sr. (@FitzBeatSr) February 14, 2020

It's interesting to note that Larry Fitzgerald Jr., like Brady, is a long-time interviewee of Jim Gray on Westwood One's broadcasts of Monday and Thursday night NFL games.

While Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported on Super Bowl Sunday that the Patriots are willing to go beyond $30 million a year to retain Brady, it's unclear if New England would make a multi-year offer, since the face of the franchise, who'll turn 43 in August, essentially worked under a one-year deal this past season.

Our Tom Curran has reported that while the Patriots will "extend themselves" financially to retain Brady, money is likely not the most important factor to the QB.

    As Curran wrote Friday:

The persuasion in the Patriots pitch has to revolve around "who" and not "how much." The team that Brady plays for in 2020 won’t be the winner of a bidding war, it will be the one that provides the best ready-made landing spot to compete for a championship and have a sh*tload of fun while doing it.

Listen and subscribe to Tom E. Curran's Patriots Talk Podcast:

Raiders make most sense for Brady.  They had the 6th best OL last year in pass protection, Fells, Tyrell Williams, Hunter Renfrow, Josh Jacobs, multi year deal and I doubt Giselle wants to live in some hillbilly market like Indianapolis or Nashville

Is there a solid sample size of guys moving from tackle to guard and being successful?  I know Scherff was a OT who did it but who else?

If a guy is a good OT in college but is short and/or has short arms then I get it or if they are better run blockers but can’t handle speed on the edge, I see that too. But it seems like the Tackle to Guard is mentioned a lot on the board and for a guy like Wilson who is 6’7 why would we move him inside?
