That's history folks. We got to see it.

This game is legendary. Holy sh*t.

I'm worried he's going to play a completely average game, but with pretty numbers due to a bad defense and the CS is going to run with him and re-annoint.

Absolutely let him loose. His best football seems to be when he just has to gun it and make it happen.
Whatever they were doing earlier wasn't working. Idc if it was his fault or not, you just have to try something different.

Joe Douglas is sitting here with the likely DROY and OROY in his team. I honestly haven’t heard a peep from any corner of the NFL media universe criticizing Douglas for the Zach pick. The only “lolJets” stuff I’ve heard was in reference to continuing to play Zach Wilson every week.
Even though it conflicted with the beliefs of many on this board (myself included), Wilson was the consensus pick in NFL circles. If Douglas didn't make that pick, Lynch and Shanny would've etc. That's just how it was. Douglas didn't make some bold and crazy pick that blew up. It was a mistake, but even if you put another team and GM in that slot the same pick likely would've been made.
It's like the Darnold thing. There's a lot of criticism directed towards how we handled him, but I don't hear a ton about the pick being bad itself and that we should've taken someone else because of the situation and him being consensus. That's even with having 2 super QB's in that class. In fact I feel like I hear more grievances from this fan base with regards to O'Brien over Marino because even though O'Brien was a quality QB, Marino was the easy pick that was messed up.
Basically, you tend get a lot more scrutiny if your bold pick fails as opposed to the one everyone else would make too. So Douglas making otherwise good picks saves him from a lot of criticism even though it feels like everyone should be pointing and laughing about the Wilson pick.

Russell Wilson has now thrown 3 TD's in the last 4 minutes of gametime and the Broncos are back in this thing.

Thank goodness. Sounds like there may be a catch though.

I think he has, but a part of me is skeptical about what the team will do. Zach doing well against the Bills and winning can now be compared to White losing and getting beat up against them. White has also lost twice in a row with not great play. Someone may also say that Wilson was 5-2, and White is 1-2 so Wilson's skillset was able to keep defenses honest. I personally think it's silly to think that way, but I wouldn't put it past them. They've been quite unpredictable.
Now would be the time to put Wilson back in if they really want to. Unless he's really hurt, I think we've seen the worst football from White this year already. Our end of year defensive slate should let White put up some big performances if he's allowed to play which would effectively shut down Wilson talk.
Tricky times are ahead. Hope we do the right thing and stick with the best QB.

Garrett Wilson is that dude.
He's got all-pro in him, and I'm so excited for him to be apart of our team for the long haul.

Cmon Mike let's get going. Don't wanna give any room to put Zach in next week.

If only White had seen Moore wide open.
He's been open all year. Gotta get him the ball.

Great off-season, even with letting deGrom go. Much like last year, this was a dream offseason.
So excited for this season. Really feel like we're in for special times. Have a great owner who actually loves this team and is willing to spend. Team looks arguably better than last years 100 win one.
What a time to be a fan. Let's have an awesome year.

Feels so good having an owner that actually loves his team and wants to see them win. Our payroll is very frontloaded too so we have flexibility for big deals/ locking up our guys in the future.
The philosophy seems to revolve around cultivating a sustained, healthy farm system while using money to fill in gaps without sacrificing that said farm system in a trade. The model for many franchises that have sustained success in the current day.
I'm really excited about this team in the coming years. deGrom leaving sucks, but I couldn't be happier with how things have turned out other than that.

He was already impressive as a freshman at Oklahoma. This guy is a great prospect. Plus I'm willing to bet on Lincoln Rileys QB factory over some sort of USC curse.
Obviously there's another year on the horizon to evaluate, but Williams looks destined for the top of the draft.

Also I think sympathy as a prayer emoji was a cool concept. I also liked having a red downvote because it matched with the green. I also liked old haha, but maybe that's just because I was used to it. Just my two cents on emojis, have a nice weekend.

I really miss the like button. For reasons other than it being the default reaction when I started posting here.
It was a perfect response to a post or writeup that you thought had quality, even if you didn't necessarily agree with it. Or even if something was low effort but enjoyable. You liked it.

I haven't been watching the game but Mayfield's stats are almost Zach-against-the-Pats trash. Has he really been that bad, or is the rest of the team that bad?
The Rams are a football wasteland right now.

Not back pedaling. We’re making sure he becomes Joe Burrow.
I think people underestimate the mobility and athleticism of Burrow.

Burrow got sacked as many times as David Carr last year, and barely lost the superbowl. He now moves to 3-0 against best QB in the NFL, Patrick Mahomes. Maybe there's some debate to be had at the top...

Personally I would try to trade for Aaron Rodgers and hold onto Zach
If I send Lamar Jackson love letters for the next several months, what are the chances we acquire him?

• Sign this dude for 2023 & 2024.
• Draft a QB this year or next to sit and learn
I like this. If we were to get a guy like Jimmy G or Carr I would only want them to be as holdovers/mentors for a prospect we can spend proper time developing. If Mike White is already that, then I'm happy.

Did this man just learn how to play football? I sure hope so!
