  1. I like that they are targeting young, talented kids. It is different from a couple years ago where they signed a bunch of vets with little left in the tank. The key thing to remember when all these contract details come out, is the Jets have a ****load of cap space that they won't be able to spend. If they are smart they are utilizing the cap space this year to structure the deals so that it will be easy to cut these guys after year 1/2 if it does not work out without significant cap ramifications.   2. IMO this is the right move for a team without a long term answer at QB. It likely does not move the needle, but why not add a bunch of options until you actually find someone? The only FA QB option that would have made a significant impact was Cousins. Outside of that there is no other option by the draft. McCown is 39 and never healthy. His 13 starts last year were a career high. You cannot count on him for a full 16 game season. Similarly, Bridgewater hasn't played in 2 years after a devastating injury.
