Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Kirk Cousins, and Josh Allen. They are all better than they were as a rookie. Maturation, understanding defenses and getting accustomed to the speed of the game among other factors all play in the development of a QB. To think a rookie QB is the same player 5 years in the league is a bit naive.

Zach Wilson has potential to become 'big-timer'
Claymation replied to TuscanyTile2's topic in NY Jets Forum
I like Moore, I liked him better than every WR in last years draft not named Ja'Mar Chase. Garrett has the ability to go get the ball in the air with great hands. He will make Zach look better than he is at times. This WR corp is as raw as Zach is at QB. It's up to the coaching staff to get them going. -
Zach Wilson has potential to become 'big-timer'

For Zach to be a "big-timer", he will need his WRs to beat man coverage and for him to place the ball in their hands in stride. Because DC are going to blitz the crap out of him until that happens. There will be no zone BS if CBs can stick to the WR tail. He will also need Garrett to become a #1, he has the skillset to be that, he'll just have to be that sooner rather than later. -

He didn't say he was out of shape.

He said he wants Becton to be as big as he can without sacrificing his speed.

Report: Zach Wilson has struggled with accuracy in Jets OTAs
Claymation replied to Barry McCockinner's topic in NY Jets Forum
The strictest judges are the ignorant people. For an ignorant person would rather be perceived to be intelligent, the Jets winning is a nice consolation to being an idiot. It softens the blow.
