  1. The observation deck at Hudson Yards is pretty cool. Has a glass floor, which scared me, but my kids loved it. 9/11 reflecting pool and Staten Island ferry are also good for kids. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  2. I expect Sam to be mostly checkdown Charlie to McCaffrey with a few deep shots to Robbie. We’ll see if our young LB’s & secondary can contain this. But agree it may be a high scoring game. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  3. Farve by a landslide. Could have won a championship if he rested his shoulder instead of sending dick picks in 2008. Could have won another in 2009 if he wasn’t so hell bent on going to Vikings for some petty revenge on the Packers. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  4. Pre Brady & Belichick, Foxboro was a ghost town. Kraft was on the cusp of moving the team to Hartford. The Pats were the 4th option for most New Englanders behind the Red Sox, Celtics & Bruins. I don’t think the stadium is easy to get to from Boston. So if this truly is the end of the Pats* dynasty, does so called Patriot nation revert back to its fair weather nature and stop selling out Gillete ? 5. Bad news JIF, next year Minchew will play just well enough to eke them into the playoff. Then Big D!ck Nick will take over and win them a super bowl while we hire planes with Fire Gase banners. Just kidding. Go jets in 2020 & F@ck Doug Marrone. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  6. KRL, thanks for all that you do. I don’t think any other fan base has to deal with as many lazy beat reporters who are just looking to support a narrative, the way that Jets fans do. It’s nice to get jet an unbiased recap from a fans perspective. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  7. The only thing I remember about the locker room post game during the Rex years is how Steve Weatherford always managed to wind up front & center in front of the camera wearing only a towel. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  8. I pray thee Lord before I sleep...that Jets head coach we will not keep. As I lay my head upon my on my pillow case....please Dear Lord, fire Adam Gase. Amen. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  9. Whether it was Rex or Woody, bringing in Tebow was one of the biggest mistakes in franchise history. The 4th rounder that we gave up for him, is probably the reason we didn’t take RussellWilson. The team hadn’t given up on sanchez yet. Terry Broadway was apparently pounding the table for Russell. But with no 4th rounder, it would have been a luxury pick. So if Rex had even a little bit to do with Tebow...he set this franchise back 5-10 years. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  10. You ever read low collision crossers ? Rex alienated his entire scouting department with picks like Jon Conner & Scottie McKnight. He was most likely the one responsible for bringing in Tebow ? And The whole “circus” reputation that that has encapsulated this franchise, started with Rex and his buffoonish press conferences. Rex was a really good DC, that was handed a team chock full of talent drafted by Mangini. But he was an embarrassment of a HC. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  11. Our previous HC’s seem to be getting progressively worse. Herm’s teams were always fundamentally sound. Always one of the least penalized & turnover free teams. Sure he was hyper conservative. But I think that was mostly due to Chads weak arm. Mangini had some personality issues. But he was the one that built those AFC champion ship teams. Rex was offensively challenged. But man o man, were those some good Defenses. Not much good to says about Bowles, except that he was better than Gase. But Gase is the worst we have seen since Kotite. There is not a single redeeming quality I can thin
  12. We’re stuck with this turd of a head coach because of his endorsement. “Aw shucks Mr. Johnson & Johnson...Adam is such a good coach. Whenever i said let’s run the ole Omaha, he said sure thing boss. Whenever I audibled at the line, he would give me a blank stare of approval that just meant the world to me. And whenever i threw a touchdown, he was right there to give me a fist bump as I ran off the field. Gosh golly, if I didn’t have Adam back in 2013, I may have only thrown 52 or 53 touchdowns. I give Adam my sincere endorsement. And I have as much respect for the Jets today as i did af

  14. I’m happy that Joe came off well in that interview. He can be a good ball at times. But he sounded intelligent, articulate & really interesting. The hyperbaric chamber story was fascinating. And of course the story of the cocktail waitress the night before SB3 was awesome. I would expect nothing less from Joe Namath h. Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
  15. This is a tough one. I do feel bad for the guy since the punishment really doesn’t fit the crime. Having his reputation ruined over a misdemeanor is pretty harsh. This TMZ culture we live in sucks. But for Gods sake, for someone who was smart enough to build a multi billion dollar business, how could he be so stupid to put himself in this position ?? I’ve got a family and would never even consider going into one of those places. This risk is just too great. I can see both sides or the morality argument. But everyone knows those places get busted on occasion. Stupidity has consequences.
