    This is a guess...

Pryor reeks of a something like a bad attitude.  The entitled guy at the work place that irritates everyone and makes the whole environment uncomfortable... The one that never offers to cover a shift for anybody else.  Only does his job, most of the time... and even forces others to pick up his slack sometimes.

    You know... that guy.

could it be that he makes other players uncomfortable in a locker room enviroment

I agree, play guys who give you the best chance. With a healthy Crowell and Powell, there isn't even a discussion. But with only one left, the whole picture has changed. The Jets obviously think McGuire and Cannon are good enough to be on the team. Now that you need at least one of them to replace Powell, you have to give them a shot. Not giving up, you are using your entire team. Big difference.

I had the feeling the way they were talking up Mcguire, that they were going to work him in as the season went on, with the thought of not resigning Powell in the off season.

What any competent organization would do. Being it's the Jets, strike this thought from your mind.

Lol. You evaluate players in training camp, exhibition season, and practice. you play the players who give you the best chance to win. At the end of the year, when your out of the playoff picture, you can evaluate players during games. At 3-4 , your giving up on winning more games. Hope the Jets aren't.

Play them both and throw Henderson in there as well.  What purpose is there in giving Crowell 20 carries a game at this point?  You have an opportunity to evaluate these younger guys, would be nice to know going into next season if these guys are actually viable NFL RBs.

Play the guys who give you the best chance to win. The Vikings are a very good team. We lost. The season isn't over by a long stretch.

Lacks acceleration?  Thats actually his strong suit.

My concern with McGuire is durability as he has struggled with injuries his whole career.  He happens to be an excellent fit for the zone scheme we are running and could really provide home run potential.

As far as cannon, he has big play ability out of the backfield, but cannot be trusted to be more then a 7-12 touch player (including catches) at this point nor can he hold up in pass pro.  The jets either need to really make sure henderson is ready for some sort of role off the PS or sign a veteran because going with Crowell and Cannon for 1 week is fine, having to do that for longer if McGuire goes down is a huge problem, especially as it gets colder.

We should send a 7th rounder to detroit for Ameer Abdullah.

He's also an exceptional receiver out of the backfield

Honestly, they're both mediocre at best. McGuire lacks acceleration and Cannon can't hold on to the ball. Our RB situation is pretty terrible. And I don't see the Jets organization spending any capital on fixing it.

    Really.

What gives anyone confidence that the Jets can beat the Bears? We have no receivers, a crippled backfield, a declining offensive line, banged up at safety and corner and a rookie QB who is riding the roller coaster.

That's what makes football great. You never know.

exactly. I mean the last couple weeks he hit him for some touchdowns but I dont think he trusts him like enunwa, robby anderson.or kearse

If we wanna win football games, we need Pryor back. He's isn't a receiver to write home about. But defenses still can't ignore a 6'4". guy, with good speed.

The Johnson's say they want to win but as long as they are making money I don't really think it matters to them, look how quick Woody took the position and fled to London how many other NFL team owners would have done that.

Lol. How many owners were asked by the President to be an ambassador.

Lol...90% of that highlight video was him running go routes.  Two skinny posts and two comeback routes.  You’re making my point for me.

You said he never used the middle the field. The tape shows he did. He caught the ball in traffic, and didn't appear afraid of the contact. I've seen him this year catch contested balls. Including yesterday when he fought off Harrison Smith on a deep route. I think your selling him short, like alot of others here. He has things he needs to learn He should be able to run out routes in his sleep. Corners play so far off him with his speed. those routes should be easy for him to move the chains

A 3 minute highlight film of his career as a NY Jet.

    ENOUGH SAID

No not enough said. He had close to a thousand yards last year. Well over 900, with Petty as his QB for the last 4 games. Petty couldn't hit the broadside of a barn. If Mccown started all 16 games, Anderson would have had well over a thousand yards. Think he did that just running go routes. No. And thats what the highlights show.

    Lol....wow

I stand by what i said 101. He' not a one trick pony, and he's a big play waiting to happen at any time. We have a rookie QB, and nobody else who scares anybody on defense. Until we find another wide receiver who defenses have to account for. Anderson will be schemed out of the game. Which is what happened yesterday. Kearse needed to step up. No catches.

For 1 of our 3rds? Of course, but that's not happening. Jets need to go after offensive players this offseason. I don't want to give Robbie Anderson a new contract, he's a 3/4 WR one trick pony & id rather have stronger WRs.

If the Raiders would trade Cooper for a 3rd & 5th you do it & you sign Tyrell Williams and Le'veon Bell. All of you guys telling me Crowell & Powell are fine are looking like fools already. Powell never stays healthy & Crowell is inconsistent. I can't even believe we have fans wanting to give Enunwa a 50 million dollar contract? Really? If this team had Cooper & Williams here Enunwa would be a #2B WR and I love Quincy he's a fighter. I have no idea what Macc is doing with the WR group as we have non under contract & I think it's because they can all be upgraded. It's a very weak group.

Stop it Jetster. If darnold wasn't struggling Anderson would have had over a hundred yards yesterday. Other than Tyreek Hill, he's the most explosive wr in the AFC. In my opinion.
