  1. All this Watson speculation. What we might do in the draft at QB. What Darnold's worth on the trade market. This has all occured after the end of this season. We haven't really heard a whole helluva lot from Sam about hiw he's viewing all this.
  2. They did interview Bienemey. They moved on to someone else, like a bunch of other teams did. Watson wants out, because he sees hard times ahead. They went 4-12. Have some rebuilding to do. When the going gets tough. Watson wants to jump ship. I think all the stuff about not being included in the hiring orocess is a bunch of bull.
  3. Point well taken. Putting my self in his shoes, i'd be rather angry with the non stop speculation about QB''s coming in to take my job. Anger can be a great motivator.
  4. It was my fault for not being clear. The assumption is if Watson is in Miami, we don't have a chance in the division, with Allen also. I'm not buying in to that assumption. Watson is a very good QB. In a spread offense. I also don't by into absolutes about Watson can't be outperformed by a Darnold led offense. As far as Watson coming here, he isn't a fit in a WCO. So unless LaFluer changes his offense, that would be one more reason why he won't be here
  5. You said i was making that up. Thats what good coaches do. Play to the QB's strengths. Unlike what we had for the last two years here.
  6. I never said watson wasn't good. Did i. We're in complete agreement on Darnold. System fit is pretty important. As screwed up as the Texans sre, they tailored that offense for their QB . Now it's the Jet's turn, with Darnold or Wilson.. My point was for the first time Darnold is hearing about his job security. It could prove to be a motivating factor. Kinda cool to prove the doubters wrong.
  7. Type in google search bar Deshaun Watson shotgun offense. Big ESPN article on the Texans offense with Watson. Im not making anything up .
  8. I think when someone has been rumoured to be taking your job away, it can be a strong motivator. If Sam was a 27 yr old QB with limited abilities, i'd agree with you. From a physical standpoint, Sam has all the tools to be just as effective as Watson has been. It's his mental approach that needs grooming. Bill O Brian installed a spread, shotgun offense with the Texans to play to Watson's stengths. I'll try and post the article. And i said, i wouldn't gamble on it. Lol
  9. Watson is a very talented QB. He. Played for a team that tailor made the offense for his skillset. He played in a very weak division. I wouldn't gamble that 2 years down the road Darniold will be as effective with the Jet's as Watson would be with a Dolphin team. It's just not a sure thing as people seem to think it is. That is , with the Dolphins getting Watson, we would have no chance of competing with them or the Bills. Why we love the sport so much is that anything can happen, that before the fact we didn't think possible. Call me a starry eyed dreamer. Call me something worse. We're Jet f
  10. Smith might be too much of a risk in that spot. Chase to me is what we hope we have in Mims. If we pick a receiver at #8, i think Waddle or Pitts would be our best choices. Just my opinion of course. Could be wrong. I don't have all the answers like a few people here, seem to think they have.
  11. He would be a great signing. Have no idea why anybody would say otherwise.
  12. Thats true. Sean Jones was there. They had that monster DT too. Forget his name.
  13. Your wrong all the time. Your the last person who should be calling anybody anything. Believe it or not, competition is a good thing. Has nothing to do with money. A lot of athletes are more interested in what they do as a player, and what they can accomplish on the field. On the field, he hasn't been pushed at all. This is according to you, because of the old men he had behind him. Flacco and Mccown.Still think Trevor is god. Mook.
  14. Very few can get the job done without help. Reggie Wbite had Jerome Brown. That was my argument with Leo. Went to the Giants, had Lawrence and Tomlinson taking the heat off him and he exploded.
  15. Pass rusher's help the offense. Hendrickson will do just as much to help as a Will Fuller, would. Much less 3rd down conversions by the other teams offense. No.
  16. Doesn't matter. He's got great hands, and good technique. Makes up for his wingspan
  17. Exactly. Look at his film this year. I love him as a player. Quick first step. Great hands. Great motor. He'd be just as good here, or better.
  18. He played at FAU. Very raw when drafted. He was handled well by the Saints.
  19. Either Sam, as a QB, is what he is, or his play, and the play of the offense was a product of weak talent, and history making bad coaching. If it's the later, i expect some great rivalries over the next 5 years. Hopefully the AFC east doesn't beat the hell out of each other, so one of us can advance to the big game
  20. Nobody knows what the future holds. In years gone by, New England was predicted to be a bottom of the division team. Won the division that year. The rest is history. I would love Watson with the Dolphins. Maybe, (along with internal competition), it will light a fire under Darnolds ass.
  21. Fits our new offense better. YAC, ability. Can play outside, or in the slot. Too high at #4. #8. Maybe.
  22. Send this video to JD. This is something he needs ro know about.
